The first universal quest. This quest is given to all characters after completing their respective initial quests.

You do not necessarily have to trigger this quest before entering the second-tier zones.  The quest merely serves as a guide.

Upon completing this quest, the quest [[The Island of Dread]] will begin. This quest is also just a guide, and you don't necessarily need to complete the 4 Tier-2 zones before entering [[Dreadfell]].

* Explore the [[Old Forest]] and defeat [[Wrathroot]] or [[Shardskin]].
* Explore [[the Maze]] and defeat the [[Minotaur of the Maze]] or the [[Horned Horror]].
* Explore the [[Sandworm Lair]] and defeat the [[Sandworm Queen]].
* Explore the [[Daikara]] and defeat [[Rantha the Worm]] or [[Varsha the Writhing]].
