I'm bpat and I play Insane difficulty a lot. I also write guides sometimes.

Accomplishments

  • Seven AoA Insane wins (three pre-1.2) and EoR Insane wins with all three Tinker classes. Winners table link.
  • Wrote lots of ToME guides.
  • Helped rework Mindslayer for patch 1.2.
  • Probably somewhat responsible for Draconic Will having a fixed cooldown after repeatedly abusing its synergy with Timeless.

List of helpful guides

  • Beginner's Guide. If you're new, read this first.
  • Inscription Guide. Guide to Inscription selection and use. Doesn't cover Tinker classes and Inscriptions. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • Alternate Inscription Guide (Steam). Gives another perspective on Inscriptions and looks good overall..
  • Insane Difficulty Introduction. If you want to get started on Insane, read this. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • Berserker. Looks good at first glance but I haven't read it in depth.
  • Bulwark. I think this guide is bizarre and suboptimal but the guy who wrote it beat Insane with Bulwark and I haven't so he must be doing something right.
  • Arcane Blade. This build is tuned for Insane/Madness.
  • Shadowblade. Looks good at first glance but I haven't read it in depth.
  • Archmage. This is tuned for Madness but it still works well on Normal.
  • Summoner. Quality guide that showcases Sheila's weeb nature.
  • Oozemancer. Read HammyHamster's comment, my original guide is outdated and his is better and up to date.
  • Doombringer. Looks good at first glance but I haven't read it in depth.
  • Temporal Warden. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • Paradox Mage. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • Alternate Paradox Mage. Quality guide by Mankeli, more rigid than my guide and more focused on Madness viability.
  • Solipsist. I don't understand why this works but apparently it does. Skipping Thought-forms is unthinkable to me but apparently it worked out.
  • Gunslinger. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • Psyshot. I wrote this so I can answer any questions.
  • ToME Tips. Not a guide but a very useful resource. Easy to navigate talent database with links to the source code for free content.
