Strength defines your character's ability to apply physical force. It increases your damage done with melee weapons (and to a lesser extent, arrows), your chance to resist physical effects, and your carrying capacity.
Gains per point:
Physical power: 1.00 Max encumbrance: 1.80 Physical save: .35
Strength modifies many talents' effectiveness.
