Farmer Maggot asks you to fetch him some mushrooms, which are protected by his dogs.
The mushrooms are located in the center of the wilderness screen to the west of Bree.
The danger level of 3 for this quest is a bit low since the dogs can easily kill you because they move quickly and there are 3 of them.
The reward for this quest is a sling with +20 on accuracy and some Cure Serious Wounds mushrooms. If you kill any of the dogs, you will not get the reward.
One way to reduce the danger level of this quest is to exit to the wilderness map when your hitpoints are low.
