Description You become better at using your armour to deflect blows and protect your vital areas.

This talent only provides bonuses for heavy mail or massive plate armour.

The bonus to heavy mail is:

  • Increases armour value by (2.1 * Talent Level)
  • Increases armour hardiness by 5–50%cL:100% as (7.5 * Talent Level) varies from 3.75–37.5.
  • Reduce the chance to be critically hit by 3.8–19cS:0.75P as (3.29 * Talent Level) varies from 3.3–16.45.

The bonus to massive plate armour is:

  • Increases armour value by (2.8 * Talent Level)
  • Increases armour hardiness by 5–50%cL:100% as (10 * Talent Level) varies from 3.75–37.5.
  • Reduce the chance to be critically hit by 3.8–19cS:0.75P as (3.8 * Talent Level) varies from 3.3–16.45.

At level 1, it allows you to wear heavy mail armour, gauntlets, helms, and heavy boots.

At level 2, it allows you to wear shields.

At level 3, it allows you to wear massive plate armour.

Note that wearing mail or plate armour will interfere with stealth, and brawlers will be unable to perform many of their talents in massive armour.
