Shield Expertise provides a further Defense bonus of 1–5cTS:0.5P and Armour bonus of 1–5cTS:0.5P.

The Defense and Armor increase is based on your Dexterity, the Block on your Strength.

It also grants 15–50%cTL:100% resistance to stunning and knockback.

Description Smash your shield into the face of all adjacent foes dealing 100–250%cTWD shield damage and knocking them back 3–7cTS grids.

In addition, all creatures knocked back will also be dazed for 3.8–11cSS:Str turns.

If known, activating this talent will refresh your Rush cooldown if the attack hits.

The distance increases with your talent level, and the Daze duration with your Strength.

Note: The effective talent level here is increased by half your talent level in Shield Expertise for the purpose of all shield damage calculations.

Description You brace yourself for the final stand, increasing Defense and Armor by [6]20cTStD:Dex, maximum and current life by ([30]500cTStD:Con + 2–10%cTL:100% * Base Life), but making you unable to move.

Your stand lets you concentrate on every blow, allowing you to avoid death from normally fatal wounds. You can only die when reaching -([30]500cTStD:Con + 2–10%cTL:100% * Base Life) life.

The increase in Defense and Armor is based on your Dexterity, and the increase in life is based on your Constitution and normal maximum life.

Note: The bonus life is removed upon deactivation, and may kill your character without warning.
