Zone Information

The Heart of the Gloom is a first-tier dungeon in the northern forest region of Maj'Eyal, near Shatur. It has a forest layout with one large central clearing with paths leading to numerous smaller outlying clearings. It is fully lit.

The zone is inhabited by corrupted animals and plants; these have been given random Cursed and Doomed talents. The boss is The Withering Thing, a corrupted wolf, who appears randomly on the third level.
