Zone Information
This is an optional zone in the Embers of Rage campaign. It is inhabited by a wide variety of enemies, and they all have some Chronomancy talents in additional to their normal talents. There are also many anomaly traps in this zone, which can produce unpredictable and dangerous effects when triggered, including the summoning of hostile temporal clones.
Boss
On the last level, the player will battle the character that they previously won the Age of Ascendancy campaign with. This character will be auto-equipped with an assortment of high-grade items that were in their possession, and this may significantly weaken them if the items so chosen do not synergize with each other and the character's talent build. This character's rank will be increased to elite boss, but they will forget any talents that NPCs are not permitted to use.
The previous AoA winner will only be used if they were played on the same version of ToME, and had the same addons enabled, as the current EoR character does. If no previous winner is available, or if they are incompatible, then Maltoth the Mad will be generated instead. Maltoth is a prebuilt character with Archmage talents and 3 prodigies, although the lore notes refer to him as a Paradox Mage instead (in the final iteration of the Eidolon's story).
