Description
Animancers are mages who have also developed strong psionic kinetic abilities. They are capable of casting a few magical cantrips, but excel in using the objects around them to intercept attackers and take charge of the battle. While it is their force of will that gives their animated allies the strength to fight, it is their magic that bestows objects with independent movement and reactivity.
Animancers can animate three kinds of pets to do their bidding: Geists that attack foes with found weapons, Wands that fire their effects into the fray, and Sprites that are made from pure elemental energies. They are limited to 3 of each kind, and a summoning limit of Cunning / 10.
Additionally, Animancers can use Mindstars as projection-like musical instruments, making the co-ordination of multiple summons easier and causing disconcerting mind effects on foes.
Their most important stats are: Cunning, Magic, and Willpower.
