Description You become better at using your armour to deflect blows and protect your vital areas.

For heavy armour:

  • Increases armour value by 1–7cTS:0.75P × 1.5
  • Increase armour hardiness by 5–50cL:100 as (7.5 × Talent Level) varies from 3.75–37.5
  • Reduce chance that melee or ranged attacks critically hit you by 1–9cTS × 1.5

For massive armour:

  • Increases armour value by 1–7cTS:0.75P × 2
  • Increase armour hardiness by 5–50cL:100 as (10 × Talent Level) varies from 3.75–37.5
  • Reduce chance that melee or ranged attacks critically hit you by 1–9cTS × 2

(This talent only provides bonuses for heavy mail or massive plate armour.)

At raw talent level 1, it allows you to wear heavy mail armour, gauntlets, helms, and heavy boots.

At raw talent level 2, it allows you to wear shields.

At raw talent level 3, it allows you to wear massive plate armour.

Note 1: the base armour hardiness is 45%

Note 2: wearing heavy or massive armour will interfere with stealth, and Brawlers will be unable to perform many of their talents in massive armour

Availability Note that both Adventurer and Wanderer classes begin with Combat Training unlocked
