Addon Versions in Character Sheet
Modifies the addons list on the online character sheet to include both the addon version (if available) and the minimum supported game module version (in parentheses if both are present).
OldRPG - Music Mod
This mod replaces 99% of the default music with 4+ hours of music sourced from older console rpgs, mainly from the PS1, PS2, and Dreamcast era. It also prevents zones from sharing tracks and introduces new individual tracks for all zones (even ones you'll be in for 2 minutes like the lumberjack village!).
This is a prelude to re-releasing the OldRPG tileset.
Usage:
Due to the limitations of a mod of this type (size restrictions, can't upload supporting executables, can't include copyrighted music) some unorthodox and arcane methods are required. This is not for the faint of heart. See the accompanying video if you are unsure about any step in the process.
Installation:
1. Subscribe to this mod and launch the game. Afterwards, manually extract the oldrpg-music.teaa file from game/addons to it's own folder.
2. Unsubscribe / delete the original oldrpg-music.teaa file. We will be working in the copy that was extracted to it's own folder. This is to prevent the "You've got this add-on installed twice" message.
3. In the extracted oldrpg-music folder, download and extract ffmpeg.exe (for audio manipulation). You can get the latest release builds of ffmpeg from https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/#release-builds
4. In the extracted oldrpg-music folder, download yt-dlp.exe to allow downloading youtube audio from command line. This tool can be downloaded from https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases/tag/2023.12.30
5. In the extracted oldrpg-music folder, run "DownloadandProcess.bat" and answer the prompts. You can generally just hit enter for all of them, unless you are interested in doing anything specific. Then wait the required 20+ minutes (depending on your internet and CPU speed). At the end of the batch file, remember to press enter to remove all the working files
6. Make sure the add-on is enabled in the main-menu, and start a new game!
This is an optional mod but I feel it adds a ton to the overall OldRPG experience in TOME.
It could easily be adapted for *nix systems with minor changes to syntax and commands, but is currently windows only.
