New Gem Types 1.4.2

Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race.

This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters.

Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon.

As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface!

The basic idea behind the class of the Forge Knight is that of armor and weapon crafting. While item manipulation is already part of the game in form of some talents like Stone Alchemy's Imbue item or Finer energy manipulations' Reshape Weapon/Armour, class talents of the Forge Knight go one step further and allow the recreation of a piece of armour (body, helm, shield) or weapon (metallic, non-archery). The underlying crafting process is pretty simple: an existing item is being used as raw material for the creation of a new item of the same basic type and subtype. The original item is being consumed during the crafting process. Crafted items are initially basic items (white display colour) enhanced by certain bonuses like combat damage or armour and defense values. The development of passive talents allows for a broader spectrum of enhancements on the crafted weapon. Eventually, a Forge Knight learns to craft items with innate extra properties, like a developed ego (green/blue/violett display-colours) and powerful talents, which the Forge Knight gains access to while wielding the crafted item .

In addition to two talent types dedicated to crafting (weapons, armours), the Forge Knight gets two additional unique talent types (class, generic) covering combat and passives, as well as several talent types from those normally available to members of the warrior classtree.

The class idea was partly inspired by the concept of the Enchanter class in Arcanum from House Pet, which I had alot of fun with, and the desire to build a variation of a smith-class, which doesn't exist so far in Maj'Eyal.

Addendum:

- Fixed compatibility with grayswandirs weapons pack: alternative damage modificators are now enhanced too.
- Bonuses now scale with ego-multipliers: Two Handed Weapons get slightly better bonuses, daggers slightly worse.
- Added/changed on-hit-talents.

Reduced Abuse:

- any antimagic item that is being used for forging will result in forged items with an antimagic powersource
- if reforging uniques, that are infused by arcane powers, the reforged unique will also be infused by arcane powers
- all forged items are now considered being either egoed (green, blue, violet display colour) or rare (brown display colour)
- points invested into the talent trees of armor and weapon forging can't be redistributed afterwards anymore (no 'respeccing' in towns)

Revision:

- removed access to regular shield/dualwielding/2handed-talent-trees from the Forge Knight
- added two new talent trees, that cover combat skills that work regardless if you fight using a shield, dualwielding or with a twohanded weapon (albeit with different effects)
- added the ability to switch weapon sets without spending a turn, so Forge Knights can make most use of all the weapons they are able to craft, depending on situation

Refine & Restore:

- Refine Items: Learning or putting a point into the talents "Armour Forging" or "Weapon Forging" gives access to a skill, that lets you upgrade your forged items towards your current skill level in the different talents of the forge group. Only properties that were put onto a forged item via the forge-skill previously will be affected and only items that have been forged after this patch can be refined.
- Restore Artifact: Learning or putting a point into the talents "Artifact Armor Design" or "Artifact Weapon Forging" gives access to a skill, which lets you reverse forging on an unique item of lore (golden display colour) once - to recover the original artefact. Only artefacts reforged after this patch can be restored.
- Fixed an error that would come up if forging items "of the deep".

Forbid Nature / Arcane:

- If you are too distant to nature (e.g. undead), you won't forge items which grant you wild-gift-talents anymore (unless you forge items powered by antimagic forces).
- If you are a follower of zigur, you won't craft items which grant you spellbased-talents anymore.
- Distribution of cd-reductions and talent-masteries on items hasn't been changed and stays completely random

Refinement Fix:

- Fixed an issue, where after refining an equiped weapon or armor some properties (like resists) wouldn't be registered properly
- Power Catalyst: Mind now helps you regaining lost equilibrium when resting

Small Fix (15.01.2015):
- Prevention measure related to a reported lua error

Fix weapons_of_projection (24.01.2015):
- forged weapons with the ego "of projection" should now cooldown properly
- no more lua errors incase you you have a weapon without material level (tier definition) in your inventory

This addon will make the game easier. That's the intention, but more so, the intention is to make the game more free, and less restrictive early on.

Adjustable Talent/Stat/Generic Point Multiplier 1.0.3

Hello, everyone. This is my first mod; I would like to state, first and foremost, that it is my very first, and I hardly know the language. I have been using it, and have not experienced any bugs personally; but to be safe, I would say back-up saves before using, and so on.

This mod may be considered a little "Cheaty", but I made it for those who found the game too hard, or wanted faster progress/different customization, but didn't want to reach high level too fast via the 'Adjustable EXP' mod (Like myself). This mod allows you to, via Game Options, set a modifier (Whole numbers only) from 1-10, for how many Stat Points, Talent Points, and Generic Points you get per level, seperately. You could make yourself gain 2x the stats (So 6) per level, or instead, 3x the Talent Points, while only the normal amount of generic ones. I tried to make it pretty customizable, really.

I hope you enjoy! Please report any bugs you find.

Update 1: Adjusted the md5 hash, and short-name inside the addon, to allow it to register with the md5 check okay.

Update 2:
I included EXP rate modification, aka, exp gained per kill, as seen in the adjustable-exp mod. It was because I used it at times, but it wasn't updated. If the owner of said mod would like it removed once updated, I can!

As a note, these are editable in Game Options -> Gameplay, AFTER having made a new character.

After doing this, you can adjust EXP rate between 0 and 1000%.

    Converted Psi damage you take will be further reduced by 39.0% (32.2% from character level with the remainder further reduced by 10.0% from talent level).

    If your mana is brought too high by the shield, it will de-activate and the chain reaction will release a deadly arcane storm around you with radius 3 for 10 turns, dealing 10% of the damage absorbed over the sustain's duration each turn, up to a maximum of 1632 total damage.
    While the arcane storm rages, you also get 53% arcane resistance.
    Only usable when below 25% mana.
    The damage to mana ratio increases with your Spellpower.

    Description: Take a weapon, melt it and forge a new weapon of the same type (works only with metallic weapons). You are able to reforge weapons of up to tier 5. For each invested talent point, the upper tier limit raises by one.

    The old weapon along with all bonuses on it will be lost. If working with egoed (green, blue, violett), rare (brown) or unique (gold, orange) weapons, you are able to transfer some bonuses stemming from the original ego to your newly forged weapon, depending on talent level:

    At level 1 you are able to transfer most bonuses to the wielder from the original item.
    At level 2 you are also able to transfer burst on hit/crit and most specials on hit/crit.
    At level 3 you are also able to transfer additional damage stemming from melee-projection.
    At level 4 you are also able to transfer talents activating on melee hits and some usable powers.
    At level 5 you are also able to transfer extraordinary properties like lifestealing, damage conversion, penetration of damageshields or crushing blow.

    The forged weapon's damage will be as follow: +7 and +46%     increased base power, +0.23 increased stat modificator. Two-Handed Weapons get an extra bonus, small weapons like daggers get a slightly decreased bonus (according to their ego-multiplicator).

    Base power and modificator increase only with your Strength and Dexterity.

    Description: Your forged weapons are extraordinarily well balanced and very sharp-edged. They provide an increased bonus to Attack Speed (+0.12), Armor Penetration (12), Accuracy (30) and Critical Hit Chance (6) in combat.

    Description: When forging weapons, you imbue them with natural, magic and psionic powers. Your forged weapons now give a bonus to some randomly determined damage types by +21 :
    Tier 1 and tier 2 yield a bonus to one damage type, tier 3 to tier 5 weapons yield a bonus to two damage types.

    Also, your forged weapons deliver additional damage by +42 of some randomly determined damage type on each hit:
    Tier 1 and tier 2 weapons project damage from one external damage source, tier 3 and tier 4 weapons project damage from two external damage sources and finally tier 5 weapons project damage from three external damage sources.

    Two-Handed Weapons get an extra bonus, small weapons like daggers get a slightly decreased bonus (according to their ego-multiplicator)

    Such endeaveaour requires knowledge of magic and nature, thus this talent scales with Talent Level, Cunning and Magic.

    Description: You attain mastery at smithing and learn how to craft semi-sentient weapons:

    A. If reforging a basic (white) item, you have a chance of forging a weapon with an ego (green, blue, violet display colours).

    B. Your forged weapons can now gain talents that activate on hitting an enemy and provide you access to new talents (current chance: 87% ).

    Talent level of talents learned from your weapons ranges between 2 and 4 .

    Two-Handed Weapons gain a bonus to talent levels, for small weapons like daggers talent levels can be lower.

    Also you learn how to restore a forged unqiue artifact weapon (golden display colour) to its original form one time.
