This is a highly extensive "unofficial DLC" that takes the summonable creatures from the Summoner class and turns them into fully-talented, highly-comprehensive classes with their story and unique events.
This pack features the ranged summons: Hydra, Fire Drake, and Flamespitter Ritch.

      • Disclaimer: This is NOT a full release. There WILL be errors and unpredictable behavior. I am patching things out actively, so play with discretion and send as much feedback as possible to the forum thread to accelerate the completion process!

Details:
This modifies the "Age of Ascendency" story, as you are no longer human, but rather, a natural, spiritual being. This means several conversations and services may become unavailable or even change to behave in new ways.
The plot's progression is mostly unchanged, but now you are operating under the command of an ominous individual known only as "The Summoner". He sends you off to do tasks-- But in the end, it is up to you to decide whether you will work cooperatively with him or not.
This was a labour of love, and I would want nothing more than for you to enjoy a new flavor of experience-- And a new type of challenge and difficulty in Tales of Maj'Eyal.

"Hydra is a nigh-indestructible damage sponge that doles out as much as it takes, capable of attacking several times and several targets per turn. It possesses Feral, Glare, and Drool heads, each respectively associated with its Physical, Mental, and Magical wellbeing. You can choose whether you want to bite, stare, or spew your enemies to death-- Or maybe even some combination of such!"
"Fire Drake is a dedicated pet general, leading a batch of child fire dragons called 'Drakelings'. They are capable of growing and learning many of your talents-- But you must choose whether you will dedicate yourself to nurturing them, or making yourself powerful enough to protect them from the dangers of Eyal. Cooperation and good education is the key to success!"
"Ritch is a fullblown assassin, possessing a variety of techniques that want nothing more than for its victims to bleed, burn, and die to death-- And not necessarily in that order. Most significantly, they can craft and engraft bladed weapons to replace their claws, making them the only Avatar class capable of utilizing human weaponry. Killing is a skill, and you're good at it!"

    - Breath of Poison ~ Causes a sickness that utterly repulses victims, making them run away 2% of the time.
    - Breath of Acid ~ Sears the victim with a painful acid, causing them to fumble regular attacks 2% of the time.
    - Breath of Thunder ~ Completely electrifies the victim, giving a 2% chance of becoming dazed whenever they move.
    Though these maladies are not considered as poisons, the effect chance will still be calculated through poison resistance.

    They are necessary in order to use Feral Hydra talents, and in combat, Feral heads are relentless and efficient, unaffected by any offhand penalties.
    Every 18 turns, you will generate a new Feral head, up to a maximum of 1. Feral heads will attempt to perform physical saves against stun and sleep effects.
    You are granted 3 Physical Save for each head you currently have. The fifth talent point will not add a head, but will     absolutely increase your Physical Save by 11.

    Description: You can sprout some glaring heads; their eyes strike terror in the heart of your enemies.
    They are necessary in order to use Glare Hydra talents, and in combat, Glare heads are deadly and precise, always striking at a foe's weak points.
    Every 18 turns, you will generate a new Glare head, up to a maximum of 1. Glare heads will attempt to perform mental saves against confusion and blind effects.
    You are granted 3 Mental Save for each head you currently have. The fifth talent point will not add a head, but will     absolutely increase your Mental Save by 11.
    Three Gazes

    Description: You can sprout some drooling heads; their acids are powerful enough to melt your foes down.
    They are necessary in order to use Breath Hydra talents, and in combat, Drool heads are nimble and toxic, dealing either Acid, Poison, or Lightning damage and completely ignoring armor.
    Every 18 turns, you will generate a new Drool head, up to a maximum of 1. Drool heads will attempt to perform spell saves against silence and fear effects.
    You are granted 3 Spell Save for each head you currently have. The fifth talent point will not add a head, but will     absolutely increase your Spell Save by 11.
    Three Breaths

    Description: You can sprout some deceiving heads; they look and act exactly like any one of your other heads.
    They can seamlessly act as any other existing head, and in combat, Decoy heads are tricky and deceptive, imitating the attacks of your other heads.
    Every 27 turns, you will generate a new Decoy head, up to a maximum of 1. Decoy heads imitate your other heads, sometimes being smitten instead of your real ones.
    You are granted 2 Defense for each head you currently have. The fifth talent point will not add a head, but will     absolutely increase your Defense by 6.
    These heads are NOT essential and cannot be used to perceive the world.

    Additionally, if you receive physical damage beyond 40% of your maximum life, it will cause a harmless, hygienic bleed (triggering the recuperation effect) that reduces the duration of your Poisons and Diseases by 1 each turn.

    Deactivate: Convert all detrimental bleeding effects into a 12 turn recuperation effect.
    The rate of recuperation improves with Constitution and, although this is not considered as healing, healing mod will affect the amount recuperated.

When carried:
It can be used to transmogrify all the items in your chest at once (also done automatically when you change level), costing 0 power out of 1000/1000.

This chest is an extension of old Sher'tul places of power. Any items dropped inside are transported to an other place, processed and destroyed to extract energy.
The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you.

When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level.
Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them.
Items in the chest will not encumber you.
