A grim tale of alcoholism and brutality in a post-apocalyptic world.
Written by Darren Grey for the Seven Day Roguelike Competition 2011. Updated to version 1.1 since.
It is several years since the war reduced civilisation to ashes. The people hide in deep mineshafts, isolated from the rest of the world. Chaos is rife, and ordered society has all but collapsed. In this dark world an alcoholic with a murky past is sent on a futile mission to rediscover the surface.
Will you guide him to hope for a better life, free from the chains of his addiction? Or will you continue the downward spiral of violence and self-destruction?
