Each floor of the orc prides Rak'Shor Pride, Gorbat Pride, Grushnak Pride, and Vor Pride contains a set of crumbling stairs leading to a vault. Usually these lead to a random greater vault, but each floor has a 15% chance (but only once per pride) of instead leading to one of these unique "renegade" vaults.

The crumbling stairs allow you to enter 2-4 times before fully collapsing. One use before they fully collapse, the level changes name to "nearly collapsed hidden vault".

"uber items" have at least one greater ego and are likely to be artifacts.
