Description You become better at using your armour to deflect blows and protect your vital areas.

This talent only provides bonuses for heavy mail or massive plate armour.

The bonus to heavy mail is:

  • Increases armour value by 1.5–10.5cTS:0.75P
  • Increases armour hardiness by 5–50%cL:100% as Talent Level varies from 0.5–5.
  • Reduce the chance to be critically hit by 1.5–13.5%cTS.

The bonus to massive plate armour is:

  • Increases armour value by 2–14cTS:0.75P
  • Increases armour hardiness by 5–50%cL:100% as Talent Level varies from 0.375–3.75.
  • Reduce the chance to be critically hit by 2–18%cTS.

At level 1, it allows you to wear heavy mail armour, gauntlets, helms, and heavy boots.

At level 2, it allows you to wear shields.

At level 3, it allows you to wear massive plate armour.

Note that wearing mail or plate armour will interfere with stealth, and brawlers will be unable to perform many of their talents in massive armour.

  • Increase armour hardiness by 5–50cL:100 as (10 × Talent Level) varies from 3.75–37.5
  • Reduce chance that melee or ranged attacks critically hit you by 1–9cTS × 2

(This talent only provides bonuses for heavy mail or massive plate armour.)

At raw talent level 1, it allows you to wear heavy mail armour, gauntlets, helms, and heavy boots.

At raw talent level 2, it allows you to wear shields.

At raw talent level 3, it allows you to wear massive plate armour.

Note 1: the base armour hardiness is 45%

Note 2: wearing heavy or massive armour will interfere with stealth, and Brawlers will be unable to perform many of their talents in massive armour

Description You learn to maintain your agility and manage your combat posture while wearing light armour. When wearing armour no heavier than leather in your main body slot, you gain the following bonuses

In addition, when you step adjacent to a (visible) enemy, you use the juxtaposition to increase your total defense by 2–25cS:0.375P as (Dex * Talent Level) varies from 0–500 for 2 turns.

The Defense bonus scales with your Dexterity.
