So for the last week or so, I've been playing the first of seven characters in an attempt to win the game with an Archer of every race. I'm recording this run, posting it on Youtube, and explaining my reasoning and/or mistakes on my blog. I haven't been bothering to advertise this at all because I'm primarily recording and posting for authenticity and memory, but I figured I may as well share it here for any new people who want to see a seasoned amateur play the game. I know it did wonders for me to watch Belmarduk's videos, so if I can do the same for someone else then I'm nigh obligated to pass it on.
Right now I'm only doing the Youtube and blog stuff, but maybe in the future I'll do some streaming. That would probably require a better computer than I have now, but I'm not ruling out at least one attempt someday.
Preface: I make a lot of mistakes. I play slow because of both laptop and brain. I have a crappy/lazy blog. I don't have a professional set-up for any of this or training/experience of any flavor in the Youtube/video-hosting realm. If that doesn't turn you off then you're probably weird and that makes us friends.

Playing as an archer
Do not forget that all characters, especially Archers, have a Primary AND a secondary Weapon Set.
This means you can equip two bows with two sets of arrows, which will greatly assist if you run out of arrows on your primary bow and still have dangerous enemies in range. Simply press `q` to swap weapon sets, or do it from the inventory screen. Remember to switch back to your primary bow when ready to explore. Hope this helps.

Sorry for not seeing this comment sooner, it probably would have helped a lot in the tail end of this thing. For some reason, this very basic thought never occurred to me and it really should have. Of course it's better to use a turn to swap to a full quiver of 10+ arrows than it is to reload 5; I'm really sad that I never thought of that on my own. Thank you, I'll make sure to keep that in mind for future runs.
