Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?

Features:

  • Start with a new class, the Doombringer! These avatars of demonic destruction charge into battle with massive two-handed weapons, cutting swaths of firey devastation through hordes of opponents. Armed with flame magic and demonic strength, they delight in fighting against overwhelming odds, softening up the crowd with waves of fire, then feeding on the flames and suffering of their surroundings to stay alive while quickly reducing any group to a pile of ash and gore.
  • Unlock a new class, the Demonologist, with an all-new item enhancement mechanic! Bearing a shield and the magic of the Spellblaze itself, these melee-fighting casters can grow demonic seeds from their fallen enemies. Imbue these seeds onto your items to gain a wide array of new talents and passive benefits, and summon the demons within them to fight on your side! Ever looked at a gigantic demon-cursed minotaur and wished it was on your side for once? Well, now you CAN summon one to pound your foes into paste while you cast devastating spells from afar, or call forth a squad of Fire Imps to pelt your enemies to death while they exhaust themselves on your impenetrable defenses! Demons have persistent health, making them a little more precious than disposable necromancer skeletons or summoner beasts, but can be revived from death nonetheless.
  • Two new zones, with all-new art, foes, and bosses! You've seen the plains of the Fearscape before, now see the lairs and headquarters of the demons themselves!

Plenum Tooltip: Enhanced actor tooltip display for TOME v2.2a 1.2.1

Plenum ToolTip: Enhanced tooltip display for ToME version 2.4 for ToME 1.3.0

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.

In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled.

Auto Use Tweaks 1.2.1

Tweaks the auto use options for talents.
Adds a bunch of options merged from the great but lacking Safer Automatic Talents by Phoenix1 and useful but limited-option Extended Auto-Use by DeathBySnooSnoo. UPDATE: As well as some work by tsedaka and auto-accept-spell-target by Stuntofthelitter.

Default hotkeys:
  • Toggle auto-accept-target ALT+F1
  • Toggle auto-use on/off CTRL+P (or ALT+SHIFT+P for a separate additional disable)
  • Change auto-use-custom-priority ALT+SHIFT+O
  • Toggle auto-use-custom-priority ALT+SHIFT+X

It has 106 options currently, to cover most situations.

Added more left click options, everything available previously but only when left clicking (minus a few pointless) (scroll down to the bottom one before hotkeys for a good RUSH [has minimum range] one
"you left click" will try to move in range before triggering the spell without continuing to check more spells
"you left click and are in range" will check other spells before deciding to move towards the target

Replaced the 'bind to left click' feature with one involving auto use.. can set multiple spells to left click on an enemy and it will use with normal priority. Can customize order with alt+shift+o as per usual. One spellcast per click, top priority first, will move towards target with normal pathfinding if out of range of top priority spell.

    If the attack hits you press your advantage to strike a blow with your blight-infused weapon for 111% blight damage.
    If the weapon attack hits without killing the target, a demonic seed tries to take hold inside your foe.
    The seed requires a powerful host to nurish it, it has 5% chances to hold on a normal creature, 20% chance on an elite, 50% chance on a rare or unique and 100% chance on a boss.
    It can only be planted in creatures that are worth experience and that are not summoned demons.
    When the host dies the seed fills with the vim of the dying creature and turns into a specific demon seed that can be used to summon that demon (higher talent levels can generate more powerful demons).
    Seed will only be created if you do not already have a seed of this demon/slot of a superior level.

Quests

You do not remember much of your life before you were on this burning continent, floating in the void between worlds. You have been helping demons, happily participating in their experiments to shatter some sort of shield preventing them from taking their righteous revenge on Eyal.

You are being taken by your handler to the torture-pits to help them figure out how to cause the most pain to those on Eyal, when you hear a roaring above you; you look up and see a burning meteor, flying closer, and the demons' spells failing to divert its course! It lands near you, knocking you off your feet with its shockwave and killing your handler instantly.

As you recover, and your platform of searing earth splits from the main continent, your old memories flood your mind and you come to your senses - the demons are out to destroy your home! You must escape... but not without destroying the crystal they've used to keep track of you.
