b) Highlevel zone (35-50): a hidden zone, that can't be entered by normal means / a quest starts inside, on the 2nd level

About Gnomes:

Gnomes are distant relatives of Halflings, albeit a tad smaller in stature and much weaker physique. In the world of Maj_Eyal, not much is known about them for simple reasons: they usually don't leave home to go on adventures, much less to take part in heroic endeavours. People commonly mistake Gnomes for extraordinary small and malformed Halflings, even if that is far from being the truth. The existence of Gnomes as a proper subspecies has passed history unnoticed for centuries, while they lived peacefully, silent and hidden within Halfling society, dedicating their lives to the study of the physical, magical and historical dimensions of Maj'Eyal.

In theory, however, gnomes make great adventurers. While they lack any of those physical attributes, that are commonly associated with a lifestyle dedicated to performing heroic deeds, they got the ability to gain advanced knowledge about almost anything related to skillful adventuring. They start their career with two instead of just one racial talent trees and are able to learn new talent types not available to their choosen class. As a result, they make for very flexible game play, but they are challenged by a low life-rating.

Gnomes now offer a truly experimental game experience. Gnomes get two racial trees:

- one tree allows them to learn just about any talents associated to different meta themes (they can learn one type each of these groups: technique/cunning, spell/celestial/chronomancy, psionic/wild-gifts, cursed/corruption).

- the other tree provides general offensive and defensive benefits as well as resource (stamina, mana, psi, equilibrium) regeneration.

As a result, playing as a gnome makes it possible to spice up just about any class with new talent combinations normaly only experienced when playing the Adventurer class.

Additonaly, gnomes still start with their Gnomish Pocket Encyclopedia - an item, which at level 30 allows them to pick one further talent type from about just any category (excluding stone wardens talents).

Imbue jewelry, armor & weapons. Imbue yellow/orange Unique items! You can imbue them as many times, with as many different gems as you want! Includes a custom shop that sells gems and a wide variety of rare and unique jewelry.

New Dungeons:

3 Custom dungeons have been added to the world map [Blood Soaked Ruins, Infested Ruins & Road to Derth].
Extra dungeons: Sludgenest and Noxious Caldera will now have a 100% chance to spawn.

New Bosses:

There are 8 unique bosses that will spawn in the new dungeons (With custom sprites). Battle against vampires, werewolves and wererats in your journey to glory! Bosses drop gold on death *They will also spawn in Infinite Dungeon*

1. Please note you will need to start a new game for the new Merchants/ Dungeons to appear.

For pre-existing saves you can enable developer mode (in the main menu, under options) When in game, press "ctrl+a" then press "r" to reload the zone and the new content will load in. (Enabling developer mode will disable achievements)

2. Dialog to purchase spells wont appear unless you have the required amount of gold.

You can [reveal] the talent tree for free, talents will be [revealed] in the level up menu ('p'). You will need the required amount of gold to be your inventory for the dialog option to [unlock] the talent tree to appear. The cost will be listed for each talent.

3. DLC is NOT required to play this addon

Talents that require dlc will be clearly noted next to the talent, if you don't own a dlc and try to purchase a dlc talent the gold will be removed but the talent wont be acquired.

4. Will CONFLICT with any mod that changes the world map (eyal.lua) Incompatible with \"Extra Dungeons\", \"Godmode Merchant\" & \"Infinite Dungeons Merchants\"

Update by Kish to remove purple gaze alpha that obscures the whole screen. Also modified central eye powers, replacing Paralyzing Gaze with Temporal Gaze.

v1.1.8-9: Potentially fixed some LUA errors. I don't know enough about LUA to fix the one you get when changing party members, sorry; that part of the mod is not one I messed with at all at any rate.
v1.1.7: Random bosses should no longer spawn with the Mage Eye class, which should also avoid certain LUA errors when it happened.

EarthTurtle - Potent damage reduction and save powers. The purely defensive focused Turtle.
IceTurtle - Melee's nightmare, fights with constant damage shields, ice blocks, and cold damage reflection.
VolcanicTurtle - Incredible aoe potency. The purely melee focused Turtle.

    All liches gain the following intrinsics:
    - Poison, cut, and fear immunity.
    - 100% disease and stun resistance.
    - 20% cold and darkness resistance.
    - No need to breathe.
    - Infusions do not work.
    Also:
    At level 1: -3 to all stats, -10% to all resistances. Such meagre devotion!
    At level 2: Nothing.
    At level 3: +3 Magic and Willpower, +1 life rating (not retroactive).
    At level 4: +3 Magic and Willpower, +2 life rating (not retroactive), +10 spell and mental saves, Celestial/Star Fury category (0.7) and 0.1 negative energies regeneration.
    At level 5: +5 Magic and Willpower, +2 life rating (not retroactive), +10 spell and mental saves, all resistance caps raised by 10%, Celestial/Star Fury category (0.9) and 0.5 negative energy regeneration.
    At level 6: +6 Magic, Willpower and Cunning, +3 life rating (not retroactive), +15 spell and mental saves, all resistance caps raised by 15%, Celestial/Star Fury category (1.1) and 1.0 negative energy regeneration.
    At level 7:     Your power becomes overwhelming! +12 Magic, Willpower and Cunning, 60% chance to ignore critical hits, +4 life rating (not retroactive), +35 spell and mental saves, all resistance caps raised by 15%, Celestial/Star Fury category (1.3) and 1.0 negative energy regeneration.
    The undead cannot use this talent.
    While active, it will drain 4 mana per turn.
    Once you die and turn into a Lich you can not invest any more in this talent.

This chest is an extension of old Sher'tul places of power. Any items dropped inside are transported to an other place, processed and destroyed to extract energy.
The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you.

When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level.
Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them.
Items in the chest will not encumber you.
