*Yetis are very similar to Orcs. Both gain a mix of saves, healing, and damage resistance, and both have skills scaling on Will and Con

*The primary difference between them is that orcs gain bonus damage and damage penetration, while yetis gain disabling crowd control; also, orcs are better at curing damage and status effects, while yetis are better at resisting them

*Yetis are most effective when their racial benefits balance out their class abilities. A class with strong heal/cure options may benefit from the yeti's passive defenses, while a class with strong damage but poor crowd control may benefit from the disables

*Classes that can easily soak damage and lock down enemies, but have trouble healing, removing effects, and damaging hard targets may do better as Orcs.

Description

Requires Embers of Rage.

Yetis are a towering mass of muscle. While normal yetis are non-sentient beasts this kind is special. A few orcs of the Kurk pride have mastered techno-psionics, allowing them to literally hijack a yeti's mind and transfer their own mind inside. Doing so drains their old knowledge and they need to start afresh, gaining considerable strength in the process; for the good of the Prides.
