Skeleton is a race introduced in the base game. It must be unlocked by defeating The Master in Dreadfell. (Skeleton or Ghoul are selected at random, kill him again with a different character to unlock the other.)

Description
Skeletons are animated bones, undead creatures both strong and dexterous.
They have access to special skeleton talents and a wide range of undead abilities:
- Poison immunity
- Bleeding immunity
- Fear immunity
- No need to breathe
- Special skeleton talents: bone armour, resilient bones, re-assemble
New Race Unlocked Description
Skeletons are evil undead creatures. Usually raised by Necromancers to serve as mindless servants, some manage to keep their sentience and roam the world in a blazing path of destruction.
You have killed the Master, a malevolent undead creature. You can now create a new character with the Skeleton race. Race features:
- Poison immunity
- Bleeding immunity
- Fear immunity
- No need to breathe
- Special skeleton talents: bone armour, resilient bones, re-assemble
Starting Equipment
- Brass Lantern
- Rune: Shielding (Absorb 100, Duration 5, Cooldown 14)
- Rune: Shatter Afflictions
- Rune: Blink (in inventory, subject to change if the chosen class starts with a different inscription/rune)

Description | Re-position some of your bones, healing yourself for (100–500cTS + Max Life * 1–5%cTL:10%).

- Notes:
- Undead are unnatural creatures and may not use infusions or be any Wilder classes.
- Regeneration effects such as from font of life does not work on undeads
- Undeads do not gain the Harmony talent tree from eating the Heart of the Sandworm Queen, but they may consume the Corrupted heart of the Sandworm Queen to gain the Vile Life talent tree.
