Addons | Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Stone Wardens Bonus Class 1.2.3Donators/Buyers bonus! Infinite500 v2.5ga: Revised high level play for ToME 1.4.8Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0 This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels. Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options. Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D. NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings. Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops. Traps have been added back to the I.D. Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth. Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted. The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest. The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop. Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree. Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters. This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics: Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229). Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level. CORE CODE CHANGES Engine: TOME Module: Other addons that affect these files might not be compatible. Timed Rest 1.1.0Adds a new command 'Rest for a specific number of turns', initially bound to Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Tier-1 Short Circuit Option 1.1.0Adds a new game option "Short-circuit some early dungeons" to enable or disable the new b43 behavior of skipping the player directly to the bottom of tier-1 dungeons if you're strong enough. The option will appear under Game Options in the <Esc> menu. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Tomes of Knowledge 1.2.4Do you dislike it, when your escortees die on harder difficulties at the zone in, without you being able to help them? Do you sometimes feel as if money was worth little to nothing in Maj'Eyal? If so, this addon might help you. The library of Last Hope now sells seven Tomes with on-use-rewards, that mirror those of seven escort-types. The library of Elvala sells two (very expensive) tomes, that lead to even greater rewards after using them. Fixed: talent types are now known, but not learned NPC Forgiveness 2.4 1.3.0This addon adjusts the way friendly NPC's react to hostile actions by the player. In most cases, the personal reaction of an NPC to the player (friendly/neutral/hostile) will slowly recover (by 10% each turn, minimum 1 point) back to it's default value over time. If the player doesn't further aggravate the NPC, it will eventually become neutral/friendly again. (Though it will still probably have the player targeted, depending on its ai settings which are not addressed in this addon.) The exception is if the player kills another friendly NPC within LOS, which will result in the NPC becoming permanently hostile to the player in most cases. Putting a detrimental status effect on the NPC will create a -25 (negative) reaction to the player (in addition to the penalties from any damage caused). Files affected: Superhuman 1.2.5For those who think the Homosuperior race by gkjzhgffjh is not easy enough. Items Vault 1.4.8Donators/Buyers bonus! QuickTome: Resource Tweaks 1.3.1 Adjustable Talent/Stat/Generic/Category Point Multiplier 1.2.5Allows modification of gains for stats, resources, experience gain, category points, and prodigy points. If you would like to be able to modify other values post them in the comments. UPDATE: I've added the ability to modify stat and level maximums. I have also added the ability to customize which levels stats, talents, talent types, and prodigies are gained at. This allows for alternative leveling schemes such as gaining 2 class points on every even level and 2 generic points every odd level. For example, the max/milestone level could be set to 100, xp gain at 300, and all intervals doubled with alternating offsets for a faster early game, a slower late game, and increased potential for early game specialization. NOTE: All options are accessed after loading a character through the game options window under a new Levelup tab. They will only appear for characters created after the addon is enabled. UPDATE: I've added the ability to toggle unlearning of prodigies and stats. I've also reworked some of the internals to improve compatibility with future changes. Ghouls Dont Breathe 1.3.1This belt removes breathing because it makes you undead but ghouls still breathe?! Howgash! GHOULS DONT BREATHE!! No Encumbrance 1.0.4This addon permanently sets the player's current encumbrance to zero. Please let me know if there are any issues. Go to Landmark 1.1.0Adds a new game menu option "Show known Landmarks", which presents a list of landmarks (up/down stairs, golden chests, zone entrances and the like) that you've seen on the current level and allows you to go to them or view them on the map. You can also set your own landmarks for later reference by right-clicking on the map and choosing "Set landmark". Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Conveyance Reward 1.4.8This adds the Spell/Conveyance tree as a reward for completing the Tempest Peak questline for Angolwen. All the code is borrowed from DG's own, and thus everything works the same as antimagic characters getting Fungus. Inventory Sort Order 1.3.0Improves the default sort order of items in the player's inventory. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Enhanced Object Compare 1.4.0Improves the "Press
Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Prodigious Progress 1.3.0Include information in certain prodigies' requirement descriptions about how much progress you've made thereto. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Eternal Darkness 1.4.4Adds many new spells for Necromancer and modifies many existing spells, effects and minions. See thread for full details. Myth's Tactical Borders 1.3.1This addon replaces the default tactical borders with a verson that more clearly shows the healthbars while making target identification quick and easy. +++ This addon only works for new characters, unless you edit your save file+++ Instructions for save file editing: Locate your save folder - (Generally in C:\users\*username*) ( The name of you save folder inside your *username* directory is T-Engine ) BACKUP YOUR T-Engine folder TO A SAFE LOCATION - ( You can copy and paste it on your desktop ) Inside your *username* directory, open your T-Engine folder Locate the line that looks like the following: Add inside the { } the following 'myth-minimalist-ui' so that it now looks like: ( Keep in mind the above will look different based on what addons you have installed ) Save your desc.lua and exit the file. |

It has been kept somewhat intact with layers of salt and clay, but in spite of this it's clear that nature is beginning to take its toll on the dead flesh. The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you. When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level. Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them. Items in the chest will not encumber you. |
