| Game | Tales of Maj'Eyal: Age of Ascendancy 1.7.4 |
| Addons | Ignore Campaign/Difficulty Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything. "Save" Talent/Stat Points 1.7.0A tweak to the Minimalist UI, allowing you to right-click on the level-up marker to mark your current unspent points as "saved". Saved points use distinct level-up indicators, allowing you to easily visually distinguish between points you want to spend now and points you want to spend later. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Bonus Escorts 1.3.1Adds Wilder and Psion escorts. Rod of Dissipation 1.7.0Modifies the Storming the City quest to change its reward item to a Rod of Dissipation, essentially identical in functionality to the original Rune of Dissipation but not requiring an inscription slot Wanderer pick 1 in 3 talent choice 1.7.4Wanderer now choose one in three random talent trees instead. New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Resourceful Wanderers 1.7.4Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:
Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well. These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order. Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description. Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else. EquipDoll - Clean Item Names 1.7.2Makes clearer view of EuipDoll by replacing item egos list with actual name, and tuning a font a bit Sandworm Lair Tweaks 1.5.10Sandworm lair terrain is automatically revealed. Hope that makes it less annoying. Binds the Zone:create hook. This addon is safe to enable and disable on existing save files, though doing so will not have any effects for characters who have visited the sandworm lair already. Wall Clock 1.7.0A small modification to the Minimalist and Classic UIs, adding an interface element that displays the current time. (This is intended for use by players who play in full-screen mode, thus obscuring their computer's usual clock.) In the Minimalist UI, the clock element can be moved and resized in the same manner as other interface elements (via the padlock icon on the toolbar in the lower right corner); in both UIs, the clock's time format can be set via the "UI | Wall clock format" game option. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Demon Seed Details 1.4.6
This addon is for all you Demonologists out there. Further modifies demon seed names in your inventory to include details about each seed's mods and stats. No more manually tagging hundreds of seeds! I don't do this LUA/addon stuff too often so please forgive any bugs. Currently, switching invenotry tabs for example will remove the details from the seed names. To fix it just close your inventory and open it again. Cloak Reminder 1.7.0Pops up a reminder if your undead character changes zones or uses the Rod of Recall while not wearing the Cloak of Deception. Frequently Asked Questions: Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Opt-in Adventurers Parties 1.7.0Presents a dialog when you attack or are attacked by an adventurers party or hostile ziguranth patrol on the world map, prompting you to either evade or fight. The behavior of this dialog can be controlled by the "Adventurers party response strategy" options under Game Options in the <Esc> menu, allowing you to specify "always evade" or "never evade" as the default behavior. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Escorts Enhanced 1.7.0Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Allow Respec Anywhere 1.2.3Cleaner Item Descriptions 1.7.0This is a fork of Better Item Descriptions that simply makes the tooltip larger and uses long phrases instead of abbreviations. If you hold ALT before mousing over an item, you can see its vanilla description. This mod is not meant for new players. If you ask what part of a description means, everyone gets to laugh at you. However, feel free to suggest better phrasing. Improved line-wrapping logic thanks to Joerle! Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.7.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. Doesn't actually unlock anything. Frequently Asked Questions:
[License note: This addon uses a modified version of an image by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.] Lumberjack on the Map 1.7.0Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Start Selector 1.5.5Allows characters created in the AoA campaign to access special starting zones normally restricted by race and/or class. After the character is created and the level-up screen closed, a dialog will offer the option to transfer to one of the following starting zones (and gain associated quests, etc): Sunwall. (Celestial Human/Elf Start) Notes: NPC Forgiveness 2.5 1.5.0This addon adjusts the way friendly NPC's react to hostile actions by the player. In most cases, the personal reaction of an NPC to the player (friendly/neutral/hostile) will slowly recover (by 10% each turn, minimum 1 point) back to it's default value over time. If the player doesn't further aggravate the NPC, it will eventually become neutral/friendly again. (Though it will still probably have the player targeted, depending on its ai settings which are not addressed in this addon.) The exception is if the player kills another friendly NPC within LOS, which will result in the NPC becoming permanently hostile to the player in most cases. Putting a detrimental status effect on the NPC will create a -25 (negative) reaction to the player (in addition to the penalties from any damage caused). Files affected: (new) Nekarcos's Quality of Life 01: Effect Display 1.0.0This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
Items Vault 1.7.0Donators/Buyers bonus! Plenum Tooltip: Enhanced tooltips v 2.7 for ToME 1.5.0 1.5.0Plenum ToolTip: Enhanced tooltip display for ToME version 2.4 for ToME 1.3.0 This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed. In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled. Quick Drown NPCs 1.2.5New characters in Maj'Eyal start out with the Rod of Asphyxiation, an item made to quickly drown npcs. Merchant on the Map 1.7.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:

Rage Quit 1.7.0Adds a suitably spleen-venting option to the Eidolon plane death chat, and an "Exit game" option to the death dialog. Melinda on the Map 1.7.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. Sandworm Lair Quick Dig 1.5.10Digging in Sandworm Lair will take only one (1) turn per tile. Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
