Infinite Dungeon Variety 1.3.1

Entirely defunct as of 1.5.0's many Infinite Dungeon changes.

This addon is fairly simple.
It adds variety to the Infinite Dungeon!
... oh, want more information? Alrighty.

In it's current version, it randomly swaps out the grid files (which are the tile-sets/how your map looks) and layouts of every floor.

Additionally, floors will steadily get larger (and enemy counts will rise as a result) the deeper you go.

NOTES

The first floor is always a basic dungeon.
Currently, you may find doors that don't properly blend into adjacent tiles. This is due to not all sets of grid files actually coming with a built-in door, and them instead using the Basic one.
Signposts will always use the basic floor.
Not all layouts support vaults, so for those of you that like diving into instant death, you may be forced to hold yourself back.

Extra Dungeons 1.3.0

In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.)

Current mod features:
All characters can visit the Iron Throne, its shops, and its two attendant dungeons.
All characters can travel through the tunnel in the Ancient Halfling Complex to reach the Island of Rel. There they can visit Irkkk and the two dungeons.
All characters will receive caldera at level 20, and sludgenest at level 30.
The maximum level of Rel's dungeons is raised to match Halfling Complex (to 25)
The maximum material level of Rel's dungeons is raised by 1 (from 2 to 3)

This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels.

Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options.

Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D.

NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings.

Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops.

Traps have been added back to the I.D.

Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth.

Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted.

The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest.

The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop.

Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree.

Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters.

This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics:
The ability to shrug off critical hits has been changed. Instead of using the percent value to ignore crits completely, it reduces the crit multiplier by the same amount to a minimum of 100%.

Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229).
Saving throws have been modified slightly to make them more effective at reducing the duration of status effects you fail to save against. (See http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=36715 for details.)

Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level.

        You gain 14.41% resistance to silence and blindness and are able to attack unseen enemies without penalty. Your mana regeneration will increase by 1.06 and you receive a bonus to your Constitution equal to 18% of your Cunning (current bonus: 2 ). Mana regeneration increases with talent level and your Healing Factor.

        Power: + 1 , increased by 1 for every 10% of missing life, currently: 1 .
        Wicked Fervor

        Description: Even your own body is not spared from your wickedness. When you need a boost in battle you can sacrifice your own life energy to restore your resources. Learning this talent will teach you two Dark Rituals. One will restore 0% of your Stamina while the other will restore 0% of your Mana. Both Rituals require a sacrifice to the Dark One, unhealing yourself for 28 life. Power increases and unhealing decreases with talent level. Unhealing from these talents will not be affected by your healing factor.
        At raw talent level 3 and above you will sacrifice the life energy of each foe you slay, restoring 3% of your maximum stamina and mana with each death.

While sustained, when you are hit by an attack from 3 or more tiles away you have a 15% chance to send a pulse of arcane energy back along the path of the projectile, hitting the source for damage equal to the damage of the attack as Arcane. At raw talent level 3 and above, if the attack would deal more than 1/3 of your maximum life the chance is 100%. Your foe will be Humbled by your power, reducing damage dealt by 30% for 5 turns.
        The arcane energy also refreshes you, regenerating life equal to the damage of the attack over 3 turns. At raw talent level 5 and above, if the attack damage is greater than 50% of your max life you will instantly heal for 1/2 of the damage.
        Arcane Reversal will drain 15 mana and deactivate when it triggers. It will not trigger if your mana is below 10% or if the damage is less than 5% of your maximum life.
