SkooBot 1.5.10

Basic bot designed to automate some of the tedium of starting a new character.
This bot will rest, explore, and use a very basic algorithm for engaging in combat.
You will need to configure the bot's talent usage from within the game (Shift + F2 -> Option a)
  • Combat abilities will be used in DESCENDING priority order
  • Sustain talents will be kept active at all times
  • Damage prevention talents are used when "large" damage spikes are detected to the player.
  • Recovery talents are used when the player is missing 25% life or more. (Threshold configurable from menu under [Skoobot] tab)
Hotkey defaults are as follows and can be configured in the options screen:
  • Alt + F1 - Toggle bot
  • Shift + F1 - Disable bot (I recommend holding this when the bot is active as its difficult to press it at a time when the bot will listen)
  • Alt + F2 - Single Step bot - This has the bot perform a single action without fully engaging autopilot. Useful when you want to supervise the bot's behavior. Currently a bit buggy and may not run more than 25 times in a row.
  • Shift + F2 - SkooBot Menu - Currently the only option is to configure talent usage as well as configure which stop conditions are active
  • Alt + F3 - Query bot - This prompts the bot to declare the next action it would take, but should not perform any action.

This will probably not even get close to beating the game for you, and will frequently run into situations that it will not be able to act in.

Upcoming Features (in no particular order):
  • Companion addons and an integration with this bot to auto-spend levelup points and optimize equipment so you don't have to
  • Recognize area damage and avoid standing in it
  • Make activatable items a valid choice for combat rotation. Currently items on the hotbar are ignored.
  • UI to enable or disable any of the various features I've added so you can customize the way the bot performs.
  • Anything else I think of.
  • BUG FIXES!

This addon is somewhere for me to test all my wacky ideas to see what might work in the main game. As the title states, it focuses primarily on reworking existing classes and categories. The first version contains a full Berserker rework.

Berserker now has 3 unlocked unique categories: Bloodthirst, Might and Rage. 2H Assault has had a few improvements made.
Their locked categories are the Berserker-specific Titan, as well as reworked and improved versions of Superiority and Warcries.
Note that they also have a small, hidden boost to Life/Stamina regen due to no more Combat Veteran.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Rather than altering the existing Berserker, this is a new class called Barbarian in order to minimize impact on unrelated areas. This class will not appear on rares/randbosses.
- Not compatible with Bastion due to sharing many talents. Bastion will be merged into this addon at a later date.

Adds the Dark Priest, a mage subclass.

Even in an age of supposed prosperity, there are many who lose their lives in vain. Those who tend the wounded, returned home from battle or adventure, are highly skilled in the arts of healing, many using arcane techniques. But there are some who have seen too much. They have formed a brotherhood of those who have accepted the Dark Truth. Eyal has but one true God, and He demands sacrifices. The Dark Priest and his brethren tap into arcane energies to deliver the bad word unto all the people of Maj'Eyal. They manipulate darkness and life energy to convey their message of doom and despair. When that doesn't work, carrying a big stick helps, too.

Dark Priests use Magic and Cunning as their primary stats. They focus on Darkness and Arcane spells, and are proficient in staff combat, as well. They also have command of a unique kind of magic, Unhealing. Unhealing is negative healing and such functions differently than damage. It will not be affected by any type of damage mitigation and will be increased by the target's healing modifier.

White Monk 1.6.0

Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass.

The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers.

Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes.

Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy.

Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself.

Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool.

Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility.

Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks.

Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes.

Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes.

      Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
      Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
      That something is you.

      Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!


      Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

      • Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
      • Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

      Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.


      Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

      • Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
      • Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.


      Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

      • Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
      • The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
      • The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --

        Description: Surround yourself with arcane forces, disrupting any attempts to harm you by creating a shield of pure aether which can absorb 22 damage.
        In combat, the mental focus required to maintain and monitor the shield is too much and you let it run on its own. In this state once the shield power is depleted it will start using your mana to absorb hits, at a ratio of 4.44 mana per damage.
        Whenever mana is used by the shield it stores a remnant of this energy (up to -2523 max). When the shield is deactivated any stored energy is released in a radius 5 arcane storm that lasts 5 turns, dealing 20% of the total stored damage each turn.
        Outside of combat the shield regenerates 10% of its power each turn and stored energy quickly dissipates.
        Dropping below 50% mana or reaching max energy storage will automatically deactivate this talent.
        The shield power improves with your Spellpower.
        The maximum energy storage is based on your total mana (ignoring sustained spells), with a limit at -1262 effective mana.

        You also have learned to overcome damage with your mind alone, and convert 15% of all damage you receive into Psi damage and 15% of your healing and life regen now recovers Psi instead of life.
        Converted Psi damage you take will be further reduced by 4.9% (2.4% from character level with the remainder further reduced by 2.5% from talent level).
        The first talent point invested will also increase the amount of Psi you gain from Willpower by 0.5, but reduce the amount of life you gain from Constitution by 0.25.
