Strategy
Being a Parasite means sacrificing your head slot and permanently wearing the fanged collar in exchange for a new racial tree. That means, of course, that you also need to have leftover generic points. You lose the ability to put more points into your racial traits, though you do retain the talents themselves. The best time to change, if you can help it, is after you've completed all of your escort missions, due to the fact that the parasite is always hungry and will consume the escorts, resulting in automatic failure.
- You keep your former invested race skills and also the race bonuses (e.g. attribute; life-rating; Cornac bonuses), but cannot invest anymore into it
- You cannot change their amulet to anything but the fanged collar
- You cannot equip headgear and lose the currently equipped one
- You can go Cornac -> Parasite -> Lich, keeping all their bonuses.
- Parasite causes all escorts to start with instant failure.
