A couple of weeks ago, I was idly reading feeds from "Rock, Paper, Shotgun" on Google reader and eventually stumbled on this:

I've been a long time player of nethack, never ascended and never really got into playing any of the derivates, clones, forks...
ToME hooked me in a matter of minutes.
