Adds a variety of random youkai that have weird and/or stupid quirks, generally pertaining to equipment slots.
Takonyudo (octopode): namesake of the addon. Start with poison unlocked. 4 weapon and 4 offhands, 8 rings, and no armor except helmet.
Oboroguruma (oxcart): equip any weapon, armor, or jewelry you like, but the total quantity of items you can equip is limited by level.
Chopirako (house spirit): all chance based events succeed every time.
Iwanabozu (fish monk): high life rating. Cannot deal or take more than 1% of its life per hit, which is relaxed as you deal or take more damage.
Mekurabe (pile of skulls): 16 head slots and no other armor. Roll around stealthily as a bunch of heads, then assemble yourself to frighten anyone you stare at.
Kyorinrin (sentient scroll): no armor slots. Gain stats and extra talent levels by picking up lore pieces depending on how long the lore scrap was.
Aoandon (lantern spirit): no armor slots. Tell ghost stories to reduce power and saves, then manifest in a flash of terror.

Adjusted progression and rewards for the Infinite Dungeon:

• Maximum stat value increased to 10,000 (stat scaling remains per-100).
• Challenge rewards no longer include random artifacts (only points).
• After level 50 you gain a generic point every 3 levels instead of every 6.

Cut-down version of RennGD's "Some changes Infinite Dungeon" (ChangeID), with the challenge-quest edits (Pacifist/Head-hunter removal and the Exterminator tweak) removed so it can coexist with challenge-fixing addons such as "Correct Infinite Dungeon Challenges". Shows a warning at game start if the original ChangeID addon is also enabled.

Adds some Mage subclasses.

Currently, adds the following classes:

Bloodriver Adherent
Bloodriver Staffmaster

---

Bloodriver Adherents are very in tune with arcane energies, their mana will buffer any harm done to them. It also makes them know basic elemental spells innately.
They also have access to unique Bloodriver spells which utilize their own mana-infused blood to enhance their effects.

Bloodriver Adherent talents revolves mainly on their bleed mechanics. A lot of talents costs both mana and life to cast.
By default, this class can, and it is recommended, to focus on 2 different basic element talent trees. These 2 selected elements will later got advanced talents that you can learn.

There are around 11 custom made talent category which you can choose. Some are essential to Bloodriver Adherent, as this subclass try to utilize bleed as much as possible.
However, how you want to play this subclass, which talent to choose, is up to your liking.
You want to cause debuffs to your enemies? Prolong debuffs and make them suffer? sure you can!
You want to summon a cute golem to do your bidding and cute fairy to spice things up? Go ahead!
You want to just straight up deal damage to your enemies? say no more!
You can even summon some totems, put traps, and more.

There are currently 9 variation of totems. 5 which you will learn by default, and the remaining 4 you will learn by:
killing a certain named bear
destroy a certain magical crystal
killing a certain spider in the east, and
going to a certain place where magic are blazing.

This subclass is a bit tricky to play and on the harder side of difficulty-wise.
As both mana and life are used as resources to cast, and both life and mana dictates your livelihood, you will need to manage your mana and life, and choose your actions carefully.
If your mana is empty, you won't instantly die, but you will suffocate and take damage every turn. Suffocation will last until either you die or you replenish your mana.
There are a lot of self-perseverance talents embedded in this class, so you can take those to ensure your longevity.

Also beware, some of the talents are very powerful, but makes no distinguishing between friend or foe, so you may harm your allies, or even yourself!

---

Bloodriver Staffmasters do not attune so much to arcane energies compared to Adherents. Instead, they hone themselves to gain martial prowess.

While they don't have easy access to basic element trees compared to Adherents, they have their own unique talents with stronger emphasis on bleed.

---

If you are starting as humans, halflings, elves, or ogres, there is a small quest given at birth, you can do the quest and get some reward for it. There are also some lore fragments scattered regarding The Bloodrivers.

Please enjoy your time as One of The Bloodrivers! Best regards, Shad3.

Implementing two cult-related human subraces (for now) to the ToME campaign

The Natives:
A battle-hardened race that fought swamp abominations long before the discovery of Blighted Continent:
Thick reflective skin enhanced by malign rituals and mental hexes provides constant damage mitigation.
Ability to use racial wisdom to rapidly increase competence in one known talent tree.
Fierce fencing style.

Heavy armor might cut protective skin efficiency, unfamiliar with the concept of inscriptions: -20% stat contribution.

Malign swamp cultists:

Weapon-obsessed cult that invaded the Blighted Continent to seek further development of their legacy:
"Strategy" opener grants unique stackable bonuses per weapon category equipped.
Ability to parry the sun's wrath in real time-successful parries will unlock and empower racial talents.
Usage of advanced techs in long-lasting battles and mental hexes to summon recruited foes.
Instant fencing style.

Race relies on consistent parrying to unlock its full potential, summoning comes with a terrifying price that could be partially mitigated by clever usage of racial talents and inscriptions/class abilities. The ways of the Malign Swamp Cult require excessive knowledge and commitment-all racial talents have 6 level progression instead of 5 and most of them require max level to unlock certain gimmicks within abilities.

Require Forbidden Cults and Ashes of Urh'Rok to run properly, currently not supporting Embers of Rage campaign, a lot of features might be changed/rebalanced in further development.

Adds new class Explorer, an Adventurer subclass mostly identical to Wanderers. At character creation, you will be shown a dialog listing the random class and generic talent trees that you will receive over the course of the game and allowing you to choose the order in which you wish to recieve them (at the usual levels for Wanderers).

Fixes a bug with infinite dungeon challenges caused by clones/summons

Operation Q.U.I.C.K.: Quickly Untying "Inconvenient" Chronological Knots

Adds a fast play campaign with a Point Zero themed quest line that sends the player to a series of dungeon-portions from the standard AoA campaign. Players will adventure through ~8 shortened zones, starting with teir 1 dungeons and progressing all the way through to the finale at High Peak.

The campaign is broken into 8 segments, with a reward before each. These bonuses largely offer rewards that could be gained from optional quests in AoA. You will also have a chance to shop after each segment, and this version of Point Zero has greatly expanded and improved shopping opportunities. There is also an NPC that can create randarts with one ego of your choice, for a price.

Assorted quality-of-life tweaks for the assorted youkai races from mannendake's Youkai Pack addon (required). Includes so far:

• Oborogurumas' Packed Car effect now shows your car's current and maximum space.
• For Oboroguruma characters, the tooltips of wearable/wieldable objects list the amount of space they would take in your car.
• (new in v1a) Mekurabe's Rolling effect no longer changes the appearance of other party members.
• (new in v1a) Fix bug with using Mekurabe without the Embers of Rage DLC enabled.
• (new in v1b) For Oboroguruma characters, if you are also using the Enhanced Wield Replace addon (either directly or via ZOmnibus Addon Pack or ZOmnibus Lite), adds action "Wield/Wear (replace)" to the use-item dialog, to replace a worn/wielded item with a corresponding item in inventory.

This addon adds in a Faerie, or Fey, race into ToME. This addon was originally created by Kaballah, but he hasn't been online in over a year.
Instead of letting it die (I mean, how could we not be able to play as a Faerie?) I decided to fork it over into a playable form.
I've taken it, modified it's values, and changed it's 4th talent.
You can nab it here.

---

The Fey are an incredibly quick and agile race, however they are incredibly fragile.
You will have to make use of their blinding speed to survive encounters.
If you find yourself in trouble, you can spray some Fey Dust onto nearby enemies while you escape.

Fey stats:
-2 Strength, -5 Constitution, +3 Dexterity, +3 Cunning, +6 Luck,
Life per level: 7
Experience bonus: 5%
Unbreathing

Fey skills:

-Flight
--Passive
--The Fey are capable of flight.
--Avoid certain traps
--Grants bonus Movespeed and Defense, that scales with Dexterity or Magic
--Effect grows if health is low
--Pretty magical wings

-Fey Luck
--Passive
--The Fey are naturally lucky, and this aids them in many ways.
--Grants Luck and Saves
--If you take more than 10% of your life in damage, some of the damage is nullified, and you gain a shield of equal value.
--Scales with Luck
--Effect grows if health is low

-Fey Speed
--Active
--The Fey are always fleet-footed, and are ready to split upon a moment's notice
--Grants bonus Global Speed that scales with Dexterity or Magic
--Effect grows if health is low when activated
--Removes all Pinning effects

-Fey Dust
--Active
--The Fey's Dust, while pretty, turns out to not feel good when thrown into eyes
--Sprays a cone of Fey Dust, which deals damage that scales with Dexterity or Magic
--The spray also knocks back and blinds enemies hit
--It can also stun or confuse, if used at low health

---

Dark Faeries are Faeries that have given up much of their natural agility and defense in exchange for bonus offensive potency.
They are extremely frail, even more so than their more agile counterparts, but make up for it with faster offense, higher damage, and many different tricks.
Despite all thoughts otherwise, they are still, mostly, a playful bunch to be around, if not a bit more painful in their method of invitation.

Dark Fey stats:
-3 Strength, -7 Constitution, +3 Dexterity, +3 Magic, +1 Cunning, +6 Luck,
Life per level: 5
Experience penalty: 5%
Unbreathing

Dark Fey skills:

-Powers of the Dark
--Passive
--The Dark Fey have sacrificed their Flight for additional offensive potency.
--Grants bonus Cast Speed and Combat Speed, that scales with Dexterity or Magic
--Grants bonus Damage that scales with Luck and Character Level
--Effect grows if health is low

-Fey Clone
--Passive
--The Dark Fey have given up some of their natural luckiness, but not all.
--Grants Luck and Saves
--Upon dealing damage, you summon a clone of yourself for a few turns.
--Has your entire talent list, deals 50% damage, and has 10% of your max life.

-Vision of the Shadows
--Active
--The Dark Faerie has lost it's ability to flee, and has been forced to find other methods of survival, in the form of dark magics.
--This talent shows all enemies within a moderate to large radius around yourself.
--Calls forth 3 shadows onto nearby enemies that are in sight.
--Shadows are extremely weak, but make for decent body-blockers.
--Vision Radius, Vision Duration, and Number of Shadow Targets increases with talent level.

-Feyd to Black
--Active
--Call forth the powers of darkness to overflow the battlefield, affecting all Actors in sight range.
--Increase all allies life by a percent of their Max Life. (Including yourself.)
--Decreases all foes life by a percent of their Max Life.
--Blind all foes, even those who cannot normally be blinded.
--This effect's power increases as your life decreases.
--This talent does not proc healing effects, and cannot lower enemies below 10% of their max health.

Full remake of Alchemist and gems:
Changes for alchemist:
You may equip gems instead of alchemist gems.
Buff Golemancy & Advanced-Golemancy tree, to make your golem toucher and git harder.
Replace Fire/Acid/Frost/Energy Alchemy tree with Element Alchemy tree.
New Alchemy Potion tree that allows you to prepare potions before combat, you can even see your potions below the resource bars.
New Gem Spell tree that can trigger the special bomb effect of gems.
New Explosion Control tree that allows you to throw bomb in special ways.
Cunning/Survival is now unlocked at birth.

Changes for gems:
Adjust the potential damage type and tier of normal gems.
Buff the stats of normal gems.
Most normal gems gain new bomb effect.

Remake of Golem:
Increased Golem life.
A new generic tree for golem, and golem level up with a few generic trees
Plan to replace current golem talents with more fancy skills (which I have no idea now).

The Sher'tul wiped out all the gods. All the gods of Eyal in any case, and only the ones that mattered, and not the ones that escapes, and some of them left fragments, and even then there are so many excpetions. Your are a minor god, either from beyond Eyal, or missed by the purge. Beneath the notice of the godkillers. But the Sher'tul are gone, and compared to the mortals you stand well above.

This is a continuation of Godling which I published previously and contains the Engineered from that.

The three races are:

Engineered: a made godlike entity, grows with level (grows: Stats/resources/speed)

Lost god: a fallen god from before the godhunt, can spend gold to 'spread faith' gaining abilities (stats/resources/speed/durability/resistances)

True Demon: Inspiration for Malrokian modifications. Able to manipulate souls they have captured. Grows with time and kills (stats/resources/speed/durability/affinities)

Todo: True demons are supposed to use a dialog to select which 'garden' your using your souls in. True demons should either be using addtemporary for stat gains, or I need to create a superload, as the existing method of pushing an absolute difference is considered 'not best practice' (due to the need to recalculate where stats are applied).

UNOFFICIAL update. Attempting to fix broken talent script that causes game to lock out when NPCs load in with talent. Please let me know if you find any broken scripts and let me know along with the error log and I will see if I can resolve it, though don't expect the world as I have little specific coding knowledge for ToME; I may be able to resolve basic errors but I don't know if I can restore broken and non-functional talent effects. :')

If the original creator wishes for me to remove this please let me know and I will do so, in spite of the original mod being wholly abandoned.

Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes. This addon also includes several miscellaneous options available in the Mage Knight Plus tab of the Game Options menu.

Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down.

Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are stealthy, mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations.

Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move.

Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain.

Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition.

Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools.

My personal twist on and combination of "TLR's Stat changes" by thelastraven, "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill.

We're pretty far down the rabbit hole of modding other modders mods here.

I decided to make yet another variant here because I wanted a power up to some underwhelming builds
that I've been running lately with a focus on constitution, too many different stats at once, or I
really just want to force one category to the moon for the theme I want.

However, this mod went much too far for my liking in terms of generic power boost, so I'm releasing my own version which mainly has changes
stripped out and nerfed from TLR's version in such a way as to create yet another unique variant.

Leveling changes:
Sets max level to 100, though you still get the bonus points at 50. Birth stats remain unchanged.

Level 2 is a "double" level, granting double the normal points (6 stat, 2 class/generic points)
Extra stat point every fourth level, starting at level 4.
Extra class point every sixth level, starting at level 6.
Gets rid of the extra class point and removal of a generic point at level intervals of 5.
One category point at levels 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 50, 75, and 100. Removed point at 34.
Two prodigies at level 25, and then one at 50, 75, and 100. Removed prodigy at 42.

Constitution changes:
Max life per point increased from 4 to 5.
Added 0.05 life regen/turn per point.
Added 0.5 Stamina per point.

---

I just tweaked some values, all credit goes to TLR, Chaotic Heretic, and Raenarill.

Allows you to set the level of enemies, the frequency of rare creatures, and some other elements of difficulty independently during character creation, to make the game as easy or hard as you like.

If you make the game at least as hard as a vanilla difficulty setting, you qualify for that difficulty's achievements.
If you make the game easier than normal in any way, you're set to Easy mode and disqualified from achievements.

This mod will be incompatible with other mods that re-arrange the character creation screen.

Adds the Puppeteer, a Mage class that manipulates and maintains three puppet companions that fight in their stead. Puppeteers pull the strings of the battlefield from a safe distance, rapidly laying out powerful weapon attacks by proxy through their puppets and letting them intercept the enemy's action in turn. They possess techniques to repair damaged puppets or protect them from harm. No mere conjuror, a Puppeteer is at once tactician, healer, and lynchpin.

Puppeteer talent trees include:
Puppet Warrior: Unleashes devastating melee bursts!
Puppet Archer: Steadily wears foes down from afar!
Puppet Knight: Redirects and absorbs enemy attacks!
Puppet Maintenance: Repair and protect your marionette minions!
Puppetcraft: Fine-tune your bond with your puppets!
Puppet Gladiator (locked): Upgrade your Puppet Warrior to shatter foes with overwhelming force!
Puppet Arbalest (locked): Upgrade your Puppet Archer to inflict crippling wounds!
Puppet Holdfast (locked): Upgrade your Puppet Knight to punish attackers!
Puppet Mage (locked): Gathers energy into destructive magical blasts!
War Puppetry (locked): Channel magic through your puppets to fire lasers or detonate them catastrophically!
Staff Combat (generic)
Divination (generic)
Conveyance (generic, locked)

A charade of life has yet a life of its own, adventurer. Cherish those that lack names. Without them, one is truly alone.
