An Infinite Dungeon Addon
The tales tell that with a wave of their hand the gods could summon a horde of monsters. But no god want to waste their dressing them in appropriate outfits, so they would create a mystical forge too which there creation could present themselves and be outfitted with weapons and armour of power.
It is said that many of strange artefacts in the world, were originally created by such means and who can know the sort of creatures that might have found them useful.
Even today an ardent explorer may come across one of these relics hidden in the depths of the world.
But seek ye not adventure; all have been dark and silent, long drained of power, the greatest alchemists in the land impotent to restore them to working order.
A forge allows the creation of random artefacts; it is powered by of the Transmogrification Chest but will drain your gold to generate the power.
You choose the tier of the item (I.e. iron->vortrum), the power and thus gold cost increases for higher tiers (t1=250, t2=500, t3=1000, t4=1500 gold, t5@dungeon level 50=4000, t5@dungeon level 500=12000 gold) but you will only be permitted to create items of a tier that could appear on that dungeon level.
You choose a type of item to create (armours, weapons, items)
Finally chose the specific type to create (weapons includes ammo, items includes jewellery, lanterns, torques, totems and wands)
An artefact of your desired type will be created; It's power will in some part depend on the dungeon level the forge is on. Generating a t5 item on dungeon level 50 is equivalent to the last hope merchant artefact creation.
Note: Playing with time will not help you to get an artefact to your exact requirements; the power of the gods overcomes your temporal flim-flam.
Note: There is a more limited selection of what can be created at tier 2 & 4.
Techy Bit: It creates an item of dungeon level + 20 which has 4 random egos; The bonues from the each egos improves with material type and level.

Known Issues
- Lore item need improving
- Lore item drop needs adding to appropriate zones [loadIfNot("\data\general\objects\lore\forge-of-gods.lua")]
- Find better graphics rather than re-using the pedestel one.
- Item selection does not have the icons for each item type, could not use the last-hope-merchant code as it displays the too many details about the random torques, totems and wands when the player can still cancel the creation)
Balance
- Should there be a per use limit on each forge?
- Need feedback on prices for ID and Main Campaign.
- Weapons in particular seem to come out well at lower tier level (e.g. for most weapons nearly all ego give bonus damage, armor egos tend to be more spead out), may consider only adding 3 ego some item type at lower tiers.
Possible future expansion (for Infinite Dungeon Only)
- Create chosen type of rune or infusions, and if so at what prices (X times base price, random chance of prefix)?
- Create Artefact gems for use in imbuing or inserting into a golem (would need to add artefact gem creation as not present)?
- Create Brotherhood of alchemist potions (ingredients + money), would need to limit total created?
