This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds particles to certain effect types (such as "dizzy stars" for stuns and confusions, or green bubbles for poisons).
Background: It is otherwise difficult to tell if or when certain effects procced or not, and it is also kind of obnoxious having to check each and every enemy for whether they're affected by something or not.

Allows you to add notes to a character which will be displayed just after you load it, as a reminder of anything you want to remember next time you play the character. Useful if, like me, you have several characters going at once.

The Character Notes dialog is initially bound to <alt-shift-n>; this can be rebound to your preferred key in the usual manner.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.

Background: It was originally designed to operate with "OoTS" Lifelinks, but I later decided to extend it for general purposes. Besides, it looks nice!

An experimental addon that adds an icon to the toolbar showing your connection status.  Currently tracks three states:

This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
- Shows the damage type (lightning, etc.) as icons or text!
- Text moves in a consistent direction and should be much easier to read than ToME's default for a variety of reasons.
- Can group damage for an entire player turn, or by every action taken - choose how much information you want to see!
- Various font sizes to choose from
- Various font coloring options (color by major damage type, use the default red / green, etc.)
- Text duration can be changed to fit your play style.

This pack places foolproofing on various actions that commonly cause trouble. Particularly, it will halt VERY slow movement or talent failures from various sources.
Background: Have you ever taken a step in combat, watched as your life became a blur-- And suddenly, you're dead? Not anymore! NEVER AGAIN!!

• Features can be toggled in: "(Menu)" > "Game Options" --> "[Nekarcos]"

Makes the monsters of Eyal somewhat more talkative...and prone to insulting you. Featuring taunts from Gaslamp Games' roguelike Dungeons of Dredmor! Also now featuring the EXTENSIVE taunt collection from the iconic Dredmor mod, Death By A Thousand Taunts. This mod was created by Deeborm, and is only included with their approval. Three cheers for Deeborm! Relive your dredmor adventures in the world of Eyal.

You can also add your own taunts! To do this create a file named verbose_user_defined_taunts.cfg and place it in your settings folder where it can be friends with all the other .cfg files. Inside this file put:
verbose_user_defined_taunts = {"I'm a taunt! ", "Your taunt here! ", "Taunts everywhere, taunts everywhere "}
except with your taunts. Just make sure they're all comma separated and in quotation marks. Additionally, due to something weird in how the the speech is displayed a small bit of the final character can sometimes be cut off. Add a space before the closing quotation mark to head this off. After that save it and enable custom taunts from the settings menu in-game!

All taunts (base Dredmor taunts, Deeborm's extended dredmor taunts, and custom taunts) can be toggled from the in-game settings, in the Misc tab.

Include information in certain prodigies' requirement descriptions about how much progress you've made thereto.

Allows you to keep notes about things you'd like to buy in various stores in the future, and pops up reminders when you can afford them. Press <ctrl-Return> when a store item is selected to add it to your wish list; press <alt-shift-w> (or your preferred key rebound in the usual manner) to manage your wish list.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs:
- Escorts now follow the player when not close to the portal.
- Escorts occasionally say useful things.
- Escorts heal 5% of their maximum health per turn.

Adds a new game option "Auto-transmo gems", which will place gemsof the specified tier or lower into the transmogrification chest when initially picked up, as with other items. The option is ignored if you have any talents that consume gems, as a convenience to Alchemists.

Adds a game option "Alternate zones" to enable or disable (or optionally force) v1.0.3's new alternate zones, either globally or individually by zone.

Some improvements to key handling in the inventory dialog and related dialogs used by the 'd'rop command and various item-using talents:

• Items in the inventory list can now be selected by typing their letter in the listing.¹
• Restore the use of left and right arrow keys in the inventory dialog to move between the equipment and inventory subsections.
• Restore "circular" inventory list functionality; moving off the top or bottom of the list with arrow keys will wrap around to the other end.
• (as of v1d) Where available, item actions in the use-item dialog now have 'mnemonic' keys that can be typed to select and trigger the action.  These can be changed as desired via the "[ZOmnibus] | Use-item dialog shortcuts" game option.

¹ Disclaimer:  This functionality is actually already present in the main module, if the right subsection of the dialog is focused; we merely arrange for said subsection to have focus when the dialog is initially created and displayed, so that letter selection works without further user action.

Plenum ToolTip: Enhanced tooltip display for ToME version 2.4 for ToME 1.3.0

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.

In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled.

The addon improves gamefield view during different post effects
For example, it's hard enough to see anything around you while having invisibility and confusion/sleep statuses at the same time

Here is details about what been changed:
- Invisibility status no longer cause whole screen to go blue. The character outline-only effect still applies and it's enough to check your status on a glance
- Invisibility status no longer cause whole screen blur effect.
- Lightning Speed status no longer cause whole screen to go blue. Blur effect still applies though
- Lightning Speed status will no longer apply blur if you have Confused/Sleep statuses (which also make things blurried)
- Unstoppable status now makes whole screen a bit more brighter-red so it's easier to see stuff
- Unstoppable shader now have higher priority over Stealth, so if you activate Unstoppable while being stealthed - you'll see visual change
- Frozen state no longer causes whole screen to become greenish. This effect was caused by no_healing state, but in the frozen state last thing you going to care about is no_healing, and it's not even obvious

This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first
Useful when in late game you interested only in Tier 5 items

There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default
which is if enabled makes sorting by Tier default when opening Inventory
Otherwise click on 'T' to sort items by Tier

items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables

This mod is safe to use without starting new game

Adds a new game menu option "Show known Landmarks", which presents a list of landmarks (up/down stairs, golden chests, zone entrances and the like) that you've seen on the current level and allows you to go to them or view them on the map.  You can also set your own landmarks for later reference by right-clicking on the map and choosing "Set landmark".

The Cornac talent category point isn't something they gain over the other races. They just don't auto-spend it on a racial talent category because they don't have one. Now Cornac's can actually have more talent categories than anyone else.

Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items.

Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab.

Feast upon your prey, thus increasing your blood pool, drag their corps in you shadow, later you can extract blood from those, event get stats and talent points from them.

blood pool: a resource that add to life, as long as you have blood in your blood pool damage dealt to you will apply on your blood pool instead of your life.

sanguinism talent tree

- Feast:
Feast upon target's blood dealing a percentage of damage draining his blood out.
If the target dies, a percentage of his max heal will be added to your max blood pool.
Plus his corps will be added to your corps pool.
The maximum amount of creature you caan store in your corps pool is 80
The damage dealt increase based on talent level and the higest stat. strengh or willpower
the pencentages increase with the talent level.

- Empowerment:
Increases the bonuses for having blood in your pool
damage, defence, spellpower and mindpower increase if you have blood remainig incrase with talent level.

- Exsanguation:
Drain the blood from a feasted corps
drain a percentage of corps max heal.
Plus at level 5: each row of 10 creature exsangued grant a stat point
each row of 25 creature exsangued grant either a talent or generic point
each row of 200 creature exsangued grant a category point
percentage restored increase with talent level

- Blood Bound:
when you die, if there is more than x creature remaining
in your crops pool, they will be consumed (form the top creature available)
restoring a percentage of your heal and blood.

x decrease with talent level while percentage increase.

sadism talent tree:

-tribute: pay a percentage of your max health to inflict to the target damage based on his max health.

-stupeffy: pay a percentage of your max health to cause an aoe that hav a chance to inflict fear to all creature in it plus minorely damaging them.

-blood river: pay a percentage of your max blood to cause a large blight aoe that heal you of a percentage of the damage inflicted with it.

-pike jungle: pay a percentage of your max health to cause a small pinnig aoe that deal medium phisical damage

Power comes at a price, but the price is worth paying...

This addon adds more Taints to the game.

Taints are Inscriptions powered by corrupt forces. As such, they are arcane so Oozemancers and other Zigur Zealots need not apply.
They do not get egos for scaling, instead they scale on a new stat called Taintmarks.
Taintmarks are a measure of how tainted by corrupted forces you are.
Each Taintmark increases the power and duration of Taints by 20%, but decrease you luck by 1 and increase the cooldown on nature gifts by 1.
Taintmarks are gained in many ways:
Each inscribed Taint grants a Taintmark.
Possessing a corrupt power source like Vim or Hate grants a Taintmark.
Being Undead, becoming Undead or changing your shape grants a Taintmark.
Giving in to your Hate grants a Taintmark.
Having Dark Ritual, Ruin or Blurred Mortality grant a Taintmark.
Having Blighted Summoning, Corrupted Shell, Bloodspring or Legacy of the Naloren grant a Taintmark.

Taintmarks are listed on your character sheet under stats.

Current Taints are only a little more rare than normal inscriptions. In v1 they will be much rarer but certain bosses will have a guaranteed Taint drop.

List of Taints:
Devourer: As before but also eats on of your own sustains for more healing.
Telepathy: As before but both effects have the same duration.
Darkness: Darkens the area, grants a temporary stealth boost and makes you activate stealth mode (even if you don't have it), but decreases your darkness resistance.
Vampire: Adds Life Leech chance and amount, but decreases your light resistance.
Blood Magic: Increases your Spellpower and lets you cast with life instead of mana/vim when needed, but decreases your physical save.
Reaper: Increases you physical power and restores resources on kills, but decreases your spell save.
Inversion: Grants damage affinity all, but changes some of your damage to healing.
Shade: Allows you to walk through walls and grants evasion, but reduces your healing.
Ghoulish Rot: Your hits apply Ghoulish Rot disease but your movement speed is decreased. Also blocks hits from being above a certain amount.
Banshee: Scream doing mind damage and causing confusion in nearby enemies, but silences you.
Bone Thorns: Sharp thorns sprout from your bones causing heavy bleeding damage to enemy attackers, but also causes you to bleed. Also increases armour and hardiness.
Blood Snare: Hurl a blood bomb at the target where it explodes, doing blight damage and pinning enemies. This blood bomb is made from your own blood.
Acceleration: Reduces cooldowns, but then they are on cooldown for longer when used.
Exchange: Removes debuffs from you then inflicts you with another random debuff.

Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game.
You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)
Note: Unfortunately the only time that addons can get the possible escort types is after the random escort quest is assigned.
This means escorts added by other addons will not be available for selection, but will still be possible to find using the random selection.

UPDATE 1.0.2: Fixed issue with escorts not appearing. Fix applies to new characters only.

ADDON DETAILS: Fork of kvaak's Uncloak of Inconvenience Addon, so only the faction gets changed to Allied Kingdoms, and the rest of the data (including starting inscriptions) is left unchanged. This enables Undead Tinkers in Maj'Eyal campaign to have the correct starting inscriptions.

There is now no Cloak of Deception, existing or needed. Use this instead of the Uncloak of Inconvenience addon.

Version 1.0.1 also makes sure that new undead characters are addressed as human by the NPCs that address you by race. With this addon active, all new characters that have the undead attribute will be addressed as human, even Whitehooves from Embers Races in Maj'Eyal Campaign addon: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/orcsallraces

BASE GAME AND ADDON NOTE: I have discovered that because the check in the default 1.5.5 ToME game for Zigur patrols and betraying to Zigur doesn't check whether the player is undead, that Undead Tinkers start friendly to Zigur and can betray to Zigur until they get some spells or runes. However, the appearance of the Zigur town IS dependent on not being undead, so it is not possible to become anti-magic. Also, undead in Maj'Eyal campaign properly can't use infusions or nature powers, so that part is working as intended.

So this addon is fine, it's just that the base 1.5.5 game currently doesn't make Zigur hostile and betraying to Zigur impossible merely because you're undead (read: have arcane aura that can be detected by Zigur). It requires you to have spells or runes, which Undead non-tinkers have, but Undead Tinkers only have neutral Steamtech implants or generators.

To properly play an Undead Tinker in Maj'Eyal campaign (with or without addons, as this is the same even with only official game and DLC), I suggest that you do not betray to Zigur and don't use arcane disrupting gear (which should disrupt the normal actions of an undead, but doesn't currently in 1.5.5).

A 'ToME:load' HOOK applies the faction change for the undead player to Allied Kingdoms.

Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description!

Recommended settings:

• Requested FPS: 30
• Resting divider: 10
• Running divider: 5

Description:

Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers.

These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers.

Just be careful when resting on an escort mission...

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack makes size categories VISIBLY apparant. To be clearer-- A "Tiny" ant will now look SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than, say... A "Big" bear.
Background: I know-- It's so obvious, right?? For the longest time, I've wanted to make this add-on-- But it was only now that I could confirm its stability.
Stability: Very High

• Features can be toggled in: "(Menu)" > "Game Options" --> "[Nekarcos]"

This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness
- sorts all stats by category - DPS/DEF/MISC
- item's passive power always the same blue color (not a random blue-yellow-pink-green)
- item's usable power - always yellow
- all rarity categories are displayed
- encumbrance value moved to the right under item name
- "on hit" powers always green
- "Stats" have an ornage highlight and placed before others because it's most important one
- Removed many extra-explain details, which any veteran player would not want to read each time
for example, stat "S.pwr/crit" shorten from "Spellpower on spell critical (stacks up to 3 times)"
means you do remember that it can stack only 3 times, and is not so super important anyway
- DLC supported - Orcs/Ashes
- few bug-fixes along the way

Most important thing to remember
- Requirements only shown for those you don't meet. If you want to see all reqs - hold CTRL
- "Phasing" stat means - "Damage Shield penetration", the name was taken from the source and looks good to me, and short enough
- The "-" minus sign at the end of stat mean immunity or reduction of some sort, for example "Blind-" = "Blindness immunity",
- "Max.summ" = Max wilder summons
- "Summ.HP.reg" = Life regen bonus (wilder-summons)
- "Def/telep" = Defense after a teleport
- "Res/telep" = Resist all after a teleport
- "Dur/telep" = New effects duration reduction after a teleport

it's not recommended to use this mod if you'r new to the game

Removes the tedium of early-game world map navigation.

Choose your Alchemist Elixir quest rewards at character creation, and configure your Rod of Recall to take you directly between pre-Dreadfell points of interest.

This add-on does not affect game balance or difficulty. All races and classes with required starting zones must still complete those before they can take advantage of the new Rod of Recall functionality.

Improves the "Press <control> to compare" functionality for objects.  New features:

• When pressing <control>, a note at the top of the text will tell you which object in your equipment is being compared against the current item.
• While holding <control>, tapping <shift> will cycle through the objects in your equipment that the current item can be compared to.  Useful when wearing two rings, dual-wielding, or using the second weapon set.
• (new in v3) Runes and inscriptions in your inventory or store inventories can be compared via <control> to corresponding inscriptions on your body.
