Addons | Nekarcos's Quality of Life 08: Life Displays 1.7.4This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay. Stability: Very High
UI Hardening 1.7.0An experimental addon that attempts to "harden" the Minimalist UI by adding error-catching wrappers around various calls to potentially buggy third-party addon code, which would otherwise crash the UI into an unresponsive "black-screen" state. Currently we attempt to cover:
NOTE: This code overloads the following methods in the Minimalist UI: Minimalist:handleEffect() Addons that interact directly with these methods may have compatibility problems with this addon; We Apologize for the Inconvenience.™ Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. OldRPG Redeemed - 1 of 2 1.7.6Yet another rework of the OldRPG tileset. Compatible with Orcs, Cults, and Ashes. Both parts are required. Show Second Weapon Set 1.7.0Modifies the equipment/inventory dialog to optionally include equipment frames for the second weapon set, controlled by game option "UI | Show second weapon set in equipment dialog". Equipment can be wielded directly to the second weapon set by dragging it from the inventory list. Also optionally lists wielded equipment in the second weapon set in the "Equipment" section of the character's online character sheet, controlled by game option "Online | Show second weapon set in character sheet". Particle Cleanup 1.7.0An experimental addon that attempts to detect and remove "orphaned" particle display effects left behind by temporary status effects or sustained talents. The check is performed automatically on character load, and can also be triggered manually via the keybinding <Ctrl-Alt-Shift-P>. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! OldRPG Redeemed - Music Mod - 3 of 3 1.7.6New Versions: These are the legacy versions of this mod which were split into two/three parts and made on Suno v3-v4. If for any reason you prefer the old versions of these tracks, or need these versions to support old in-progress saves, here they are.
This mod replaces 99% of the music in the game with original covers of classic RPG scores.
Two-Handed Dual-Wielding Counts 1.7.0If you are wielding a two-handed weapon in mainhand and another weapon in offhand (via Ogres' Grisly Constitution talent or various addons), arranges for your melee weapon damage to be recorded as both two-handed weapon damage and dual-wielded weapon damage for purposes of satisfying prodigy requirements (notably Windblade). Automatic Notes 1.7.0Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:
Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes". Frequently Asked Questions: Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
Lumberjack on the Map 1.7.0Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately. OldRPG Redeemed - 2 of 2 1.7.6Yet another rework of the OldRPG tileset. Compatible with Orcs, Cults, and Ashes. Both parts are required. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! Also papers over a bug in the existing male/female choices, so that the Fortress Shadow will continue to appear properly in the chat dialog with its appearance altered. NOTE: This class requires access to donator tiles, and thus requires the player to have donator status (including via purchasing the game through Steam). Post Effects fixes 1.7.2The addon improves gamefield view during different post effects Here is details about what been changed: Improved Combat Text v2 Custom Edit 1.6.0This is a custom edit of the "Improved Combat Text v2" mod. All credit for the original work goes to to the original mod by Codefly
DescriptionThis addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
Custom Edit
The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.

If either of you want to just steal my code and put it in your addons that is completely fine with me. Somebody shut that dog up 1.0.5Removes certain ambient sound effects: Vox Eyal 1.7.6[Not compatible with Verbose Enemies] A total rework of the "Verbose Enemies" mod. Supports blacklist filtering to prevent non-humanoids from taunting if you don't want them to, taunt rate tuning, etc. Includes UI config panel (under Misc Tab) for real-time adjustments. Originally based on Death by a Thousand Taunts by Deeborm and Verbose Enemies by stuntofthelitter. While some people may be ok with Gen-Z nonsense, brainrot, and non-sequiturs, I felt the need to curate and split the list and in the process, ended up adding a ton of new features. [Not compatible with Verbose Enemies] Visibly Distinct Subvaults 1.7.0Changes the appearance of the entrance to "sub-vaults" in the Orc Prides and High Peak to be different from the stairs down to the next level, to avoid confusion. OldRPG Redeemed - Music Mod - 2 of 3 1.7.6New Versions: These are the legacy versions of this mod which were split into two/three parts and made on Suno v3-v4. If for any reason you prefer the old versions of these tracks, or need these versions to support old in-progress saves, here they are.

Verbose Enemies 1.3.1Makes the monsters of Eyal somewhat more talkative...and prone to insulting you. Featuring taunts from Gaslamp Games' roguelike Dungeons of Dredmor! Also now featuring the EXTENSIVE taunt collection from the iconic Dredmor mod, Death By A Thousand Taunts. This mod was created by Deeborm, and is only included with their approval. Three cheers for Deeborm! Relive your dredmor adventures in the world of Eyal. You can also add your own taunts! To do this create a file named verbose_user_defined_taunts.cfg and place it in your settings folder where it can be friends with all the other .cfg files. Inside this file put: All taunts (base Dredmor taunts, Deeborm's extended dredmor taunts, and custom taunts) can be toggled from the in-game settings, in the Misc tab. Showing Items Tier in Inventory 1.7.2This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables This mod is safe to use without starting new game Nekarcos's Quality of Life 01: Effect Display 1.7.5This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
Better Item Description 1.7.4This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness Most important thing to remember it's not recommended to use this mod if you'r new to the game Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

It has been kept somewhat intact with layers of salt and clay, but in spite of this it's clear that nature is beginning to take its toll on the dead flesh. Some say the foot of a halfling brings luck to its bearer - right now the only thing you can be sure of is that it stinks. |
