Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again!

Adds a new talent Prophecy Management, for easier management of the prophecies associated with Grand Oration, Twofold Curse and Revelation.

A variation on wyrmics, as a multi-elemental debuff-centered class.
Rather than having their abilities scattered among the elements, they'll rank up melee attacks, mental attacks, and elements separately.

The core of Wyrmic is:
Combat Techniques
Draconic Combat - provides weapon attacks.
Draconic Energy - provides mindpower attacks.
Draconic Body - provides mobility and survivability.

Then, a wyrmic picks one of the six natural elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Sand, Acid, or Poison. Each element has a single ability available right away, and a set of advanced skills that require a category point to access.
Finally, the advanced Prismatic Tree rewards you for changing elements.

Apex Predator - new generic tree that fills in a few gaps and lets you wear gems.

Adds game options related to equipment curses and cursed auras from the Defiling Touch talent:

• "[ZOmnibus] | Show power of cursed auras", which modifies the buffs display for cursed auras to include the "curse power" based on number of worn equipment pieces with each curse type (including +2 bonus from Defiling Touch, if applicable).
• "[ZOmnibus] | Tag cursed items in equipment", which adds an extra curse-related keyword to a worn cursed item's listing in the equipment display.

Also adds a tooltip to Defiling Touch's Cursed Aura Selection dialog, showing the effect of each curse if you select it.

Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.

Adds two races, one class, a new town, and a new low level dungeon. Completing a quest to explore the new dungeon unlocks purchasable perks in the town. This quest is the starting quest for the added races, but anyone can access an alternate version of the quest with the same rewards. Look toward the coast east of Last Hope to get started.

Available perks (cost varies):
Reveal Exotic Weapons Mastery (must already know Combat Training; Combat Training can also be purchased as per Last Hope shops).

Gain the ability to invest in Heavy Armour Training and equip mail(heavy) armor by meeting the requirement with the highest of Constitution and Dexterity (or Strength, as usual).

Gain bonus attack and movement speeds and a chance to evade incoming damage while wearing mail(heavy) armor. These values scale with Dex and Con, respectively.

Learn (locked or unlocked) a new Psionic/Mindstar combat talent tree. Similar to Wild-Gift/Mindstar mastery, this tree also has a Psiblades sustain. Once learned, you can also pay to boost mastery (as with Mindstar mastery from Zigur).

Psionic/Mindstar combat:

Psiblades:
Increases damage and physical power when attacking with Mindstars. When sustained, increases the damage modifiers and mind stats granted by equipped mindstars (this is an exact copy of the wild-gift/mindstar mastery psiblades talent).

Mind Thorns:
Instantly touch the mind of an adjacent foe, creating mental thorns which reduce mind save and deal mind damage each turn for a few turns.

Mind Storm:
Create a storm of psionic energy which lasts for a few turns. The storm will overheat the mind of foes in the area, causing them to burn (stacking). Allies in the area will be obscured by illusions, reducing the bonus damage of critical hits dealt to them.

Psionic Balance:
Attack an adjacent enemy with your mainhand Psiblade and channel the energy through your offhand to create a psionic damage shield around an ally or yourself. The power of the shield is based on the damage of the attack and can be a mental critical. The shielded target will also regain an amount of Psi based on the damage of the attack.

Races:

The Naloren are elven race with an affinity for water who are adept with mail armor, whips and tridents. They are also known for their bountiful spirit and superb flexibility.
Talents:

Spirit of the Tides:
Gain X charges of Surging Spirit for 5 turns. Charges will be consumed as you activate talents to reduce their cooldown by one turn per charge.

Spirited Combat:
Gain X% armor hardiness in all types of armor and a Y% Constitution damage modifier for all weapons.

Cleansing Water:
When you are afflicted with a detrimental effect you have a X% chance to create a 1-tile pool of Cleansing Water within 2 tiles of yourself. Moving into Cleansing Water will consume it to cleanse the detrimental effect with the highest duration currently afflicting you. This has a cooldown (3).

Whitewater:
Call on the surging tides to aid you, creating radius X pool of rushing water lasting for 6 turns. Moving within Whitewater is instant for you. Foes will have a 50% chance with each movement within Whitewater to flounder, draining 50% of a turn and leaving them Dazed for 1 turn.

Stats:

+ 4 Con, +4 Dex, -1 Cun, -1 Str, -1 Mag, +10 life rating, 10% increased global speed, 15% xp penalty.

The Freeks are a tribe of Yeeks who broke free from The Way. They are still strong psionics, but their minds have been irreparably shattered.
Talents:

Unbound Mind:
Remove up to X silence and confusion effects from yourself and increase your silence and confusion immunities by 100% for a few turns. When activated, all foes in range 8 are afflicted with Shattered Mind for the same duration, giving them a chance each turn to become dazed or confused(35%) for 2 turns.

Partition:
Increases resistance to all damage and decreases the duration of negative effects.

Hasty:
Gain a passive mind speed bonus. If you are afflicted by 4 or more negative effects, the passive speed bonus will temporarily be doubled and any actions (attacks, spells, movement, etc) will use your mind speed if it is faster than the usual speed.

Schism:
Create up to 3 illusions of yourself adjacent to foes within range 10 that will taunt enemies for a few turns.

Stats:
-2 Con, +0 Dex, +3 Cun, +0 Str, +1 Mag, +3 Wil, +9 life rating, -10% xp 'penalty', -15% confusion immunity.

Target a foe and disrupt their next talent with a blast of physical damage. At level 3+ adds confuses. At 5+ has a passive chance to block damage over a threshold, blast the source, and disrupt the source talent.

Puncture:
Deal physical damage with added bleeding damage. At level 3+ has a chance to disrupt temporary buffs on the target. Direct damage bypasses ice blocks.

Psionic Striking

Kinetic Blast:

 Deal physical damage and pin. Frozen targets take extra damage and both hits bypass the ice block.

Thermal Blast:
Deal fire damage and cold damage and freeze. If target is pinned, pull in nearby enemies and freeze them to the ground for a few turns.

Charged Blast:
Deal lightning damage and shock (reduce stun/pin resist by half). If target is pinned, boost Charge Shield value. If target is frozen, push nearby enemies away from you.

Psi Weaving:
Increased Fire, Cold and Lightning damage and res pen. Also applies to physical, but at half the value.

Altered Talents
Beyond the Flesh:
TK mindstars now project a blast of damage instead of pulling enemies. Chance, range and damage scale with mindstar tier (damage also scales on Mindpower). Active Aura damage is added to the blast at 2 times the usual power.

Quick as Thought:
Also increases mental crit chance.

Mindhook:
Can also target a wall to pull yourself.

Resonant Focus:
TK mindstars have increased chance to blast and also increase the radius of Voracity talents and the range non-melee mind powers.

Frenzied Focus:
TK mindstars attempt to blast all foes in range and Aura damage is added at 4 times the usual power.

Transcendent Telekinesis:
Resets Kinetic Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Physical while in effect. Kinetic Blast will also strike two random foes adjacent to the target.

Transcendent Electrokinesis:
Resets Charged Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Lightning while in effect. Charged Blast will also chain to 3 nearby enemies.

Static Net:
Static Charge is released with your next Telekinetic Crush or Charged Blast.

Transcendent Pyrokinesis:
Resets Thermal Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Fire or Cold (based on your increased damage) while in effect. Thermal Blast cold/freeze will hit in a radius 1 ball.

Changes the descriptions of the six talents used in making tinkers to show the levels required to make each object. I was sick of looking them up. I'm not sure what's going on with the double-rectangle symbols showing up on newlines in the descriptions, if anyone knows a way to remedy it let me know.

Guarantees rewards from The Place Which Does Not Exist (PWDNE) by giving points for passing each level. Entering level 1 grants a class point, entering level 2 while knowing the first lore piece grants a generic point, entering level 3 while knowing the first and second pieces of lore grants a category point, and the first entry into the Home Which Is Not while knowing all three lore pieces grants you a prodigy point.

Adds an option to the Online tab that can disable the broadcasting of death messages. Additionally, can suppress death messages for characters under a specific level.

Adds more 1H staves with more variety to the game.

1H staves are so hard to find because in the base game there are only 2 egos that make a staff 1H.
This addon adds more 1H staff egos that are based on some of the existing 2H staff egos, but with some of the bonuses toned down.
Also slightly expands the number of staves available in staff stores to account for the wider variety.

Xorns, four armed creatures of earth.

• +4 Strength, +0 Dexterity, +2 Constitution +0 Magic, +0 Willpower, +0 Cunning, 8 Life per level, 100% Experience penalty, -50% heal modifier.

This is a personalized version of Trea’s Xorn Race mod. It doubles the number of ring/glove slots. It also doubles life gain from constitution.

Slightly adjust the random level selection for escort quests to avoid levels with zone bosses.

Overloads Spell/Staff Combat to make some of it more useful.
1. gives staves 30% extra dex scaling if you take the mastery, as well as scaling with the higher of str or mag
2. merges channel staff and staff mastery, channel staff no longer depends on a projectile and has +2 range for the full 10 tiles.
3. moves blunt thrust and defensive posture down a tier due to channel staff being gone, defensive posture allows you to parry 1 attack per turn
4. capstone is an aoe staff whirl that hits the primary target twice for daze

Mark sustained talents for easy reactivation after being disrupted by an enemy attack. From the Restart Sustains dialog (bound to <alt-shift-s> by default), you can select sustains to be restarted, arranging them in tree order as needed to ensure that certain sustains are activated before others. In addition, if any of these selected sustains is forcibly deactivated by an attacker, you will be notified with a log message and a noticeable particle effect.

Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game.
You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)

Adds several new classes and races:
- Bladebender class: Psionic melee fighter that triple-wields daggers and has "meta" talents that can modify other talents.
- Harbinger class: Wilder melee fighter that channels storms through their attacks. More powerful against groups of foes than against single targets. Their class talents do not use resources.
- The Cooler Anorithil class: Revamp of the Anorithil class that must directly alternate between Solar and Lunar talents instead of managing positive/negative energy.
- Zephyr class: Basically a ranged and exclusively lightning-based version of Arcane Blade. Overpowered, not a serious class, and mostly exists to demonstrate instant projectiles.

- Moon Fox race: Race that can radically transform class and generic talents by attaching tails to them.
- Dreamelf race: Overpowered race that can reposition enemies and shorten talent cooldowns.
- Lich race: Undead race that can convert a portion of all their damage into a damage type of their choice.

This addon also makes a couple other changes to make the Zephyr class work:
- Feather Wind is no longer snapshottable, provides less defense but provides both melee and ranged defense, and its maximum encumbrance is no longer spellpower-dependent.

Other than that, the addon tries not to affect existing classes/races/talents. The new classes won't appear on enemies or Adventurers.

Lowers cost for mastery upgrades to half a category point, making mastery upgrades a much better option than they are now.

Makes alchemists focus on creating elixirs that you are not currently helping them with.
In the base game, when you hand in ingredients to an alchemist, another alchemist completes one of his remaining elixirs at random.
What this addon does is remove the elixir that you are already helping them with from the possible elixirs to be chosen unless it is their last elixir.

UPDATE 1.0.2: Fixed issue with escorts not appearing. Fix applies to new characters only.

ADDON DETAILS: Fork of kvaak's Uncloak of Inconvenience Addon, so only the faction gets changed to Allied Kingdoms, and the rest of the data (including starting inscriptions) is left unchanged. This enables Undead Tinkers in Maj'Eyal campaign to have the correct starting inscriptions.

There is now no Cloak of Deception, existing or needed. Use this instead of the Uncloak of Inconvenience addon.

Version 1.0.1 also makes sure that new undead characters are addressed as human by the NPCs that address you by race. With this addon active, all new characters that have the undead attribute will be addressed as human, even Whitehooves from Embers Races in Maj'Eyal Campaign addon: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/orcsallraces

BASE GAME AND ADDON NOTE: I have discovered that because the check in the default 1.5.5 ToME game for Zigur patrols and betraying to Zigur doesn't check whether the player is undead, that Undead Tinkers start friendly to Zigur and can betray to Zigur until they get some spells or runes. However, the appearance of the Zigur town IS dependent on not being undead, so it is not possible to become anti-magic. Also, undead in Maj'Eyal campaign properly can't use infusions or nature powers, so that part is working as intended.

So this addon is fine, it's just that the base 1.5.5 game currently doesn't make Zigur hostile and betraying to Zigur impossible merely because you're undead (read: have arcane aura that can be detected by Zigur). It requires you to have spells or runes, which Undead non-tinkers have, but Undead Tinkers only have neutral Steamtech implants or generators.

To properly play an Undead Tinker in Maj'Eyal campaign (with or without addons, as this is the same even with only official game and DLC), I suggest that you do not betray to Zigur and don't use arcane disrupting gear (which should disrupt the normal actions of an undead, but doesn't currently in 1.5.5).

A 'ToME:load' HOOK applies the faction change for the undead player to Allied Kingdoms.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first
Useful when in late game you interested only in Tier 5 items

There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default
which is if enabled makes sorting by Tier default when opening Inventory
Otherwise click on 'T' to sort items by Tier

items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables

This mod is safe to use without starting new game

Simply makes Steamsaw Mastery attach to Weapon Mastery talent. Doesn't say so in talent, but you'll see the power rise when you take it if you want to confirm. Lets non-Butchers enjoy Steamsaws.
(you will still need a steam pool to use them! This is not meant to give full an absolute access to steamsaws, simply make them available if you have access to tinkers or steam.)

Modifies the Command Staff talent to work on a staff wielded in the offhand, psionic focus or other non-mainhand slot. If you are wielding multiple staffs, the talent will prompt you to choose one to modify.

Simple addon to request confirmation before linking items into chat.

A collection of small quality-of life tweaks for tinker-using characters in the Embers of Rage DLC. Notable changes:

• New tinker recipe Regeneration Salve.
• In the Create Tinker dialog, place initial focus in the recipes list for ease of keyboard navigation.
• Expand the descriptions of schematics in tinker stores and recipes in the Create Tinker dialog to include more useful information.
• For characters with both a transmogrification chest and an Automated Portable Extractor, the latter will automatically be used for items that yield ingredients when melted, and the former will be used for the rest for fortress energy (controlled by game options "Gameplay | Multiplexed transmogrification" and "Gameplay | Multiplexed transmogrification minimum tier").
• Schematics for tinkers you've already learned can optionally be listed in a different color in stores and in player inventory for easier distinction (controlled by game option "Gameplay | Highlight learned schematics in stores").
• (new in v1h) Mental stimulator tinkers are altered to confer sleep resistance.
