Another way to go about Doomed itemization is to drop the magic bit and convert them over to Mindpower. Eventually we're going to need Mindpower equipment in the game for a few different planned classes. I'd like to see Summoners converted over as well.
If Doomed used Mindpower along with a Mindcrit function we could add items to the game for them easily and eventually have more then one class that can use it. Doomed to me really feel more like a dark psion then a dark mage. For one we have dark mages covered, corruptors and now necromancers. For two the magic is the bit that feels tacked on, not the mental powers.
Where could I/we find the mechanics for these talents?
It crashes constantly when fighting the weirdling beast at sher'tul fortress. Playing lvl 10 alchemist with a golem. Only possibly remarkable thing is 3 damage-on-hit items on golem.

Any articles in particular that you think are needed? The fast development pace of this game is awesome, but it leads to some information becoming outdated relatively quickly. For example, the talent pages that I did are up to five months old, and many of the skills have been changed since then. If you could suggest some needed articles that would have a good chance of staying correct without maintenance for a long time, I'd take a look at writing them.

ive never written a article before for anything. what about some guidelines for making class guides, lvling guides?
im going to find a way to make an antimagic ghoul cursed work, I need to invest a lot more points into retch a lot earlier instead of so many in gifts and blessings I think.

Its a tragic story!
Gentoo only has SDL1.2, so the instructions given will not work for b33. I have found very little on how to install (or upgrade to) SDL1.3

Building r4371 ( I think, between b33 and b34 ) on 64bit Windows.
I had some problems and to fix them you probably have to do the following:
Install the latest MinGW and install it over the http://te4.org/dl/tmp/MinGW2_TE4.rar .
Add
"/c/mingw/include/vorbis",
to the includedirs.
That way I was able to compile successfully.

Amazing update judging by our massive change log, and the load speeds are amazing... just uh... custom tilesets how now? since modules are packaged up into files.
Actually at lower stealth it isn't actually an issue, because enemies spot you a lot, so it's actually when you have more points invested in it that it becomes an issue in the first place.
I was thinking 20% chance to break stealth with it possible to lower it down to 5%.
How about make the chance to break stealth scale with talent level. so at tlvl 1 its 20% not to break stealth to 100% at tlvel 5
If i decide to use stealth i go 5 points + category point + high cunning, in which case stealth is very powerful. i look forward to run a test with throwing daggers and charlatan when i come back in 3 weeks. :)
