This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This QoL provides some "automation" to various tedious gameflows in ToME.

• Auto-Keeping

Provides the player various settings that control which objects will automatically be excluded from transmogrification.
This is particularly designed for keeping various "lightweight" objects (such as Inscriptions, Rings, and/or Necklaces).

• Auto-Waiting:

Adds two bindable keys to [Key Bindings] that lets you wait for either 100 or X many turns.
(No more using the Rod of Recall!)

• Auto-Battle:

Adds a bindable key to [Key Bindings] that causes your currently-controlled character to perform a single, AI-controlled action during combat.
Additionally, this also adds a map menu option to adjust your currently-controlled character's talent priorities for the sake of optimizing said behavior.

• Auto-Hotkeying (Work In Progress)

When replacing a usable object with another usable object, all of the old object's talent hotkeys will be replaced with the new object's hotkey as well.

Background: There are just some things a player shouldn't have to do themself. It's a nuisance more than anything! Why waste the brain power? Let's have the game deal with it instead!

Mod that allows you to play as an adventurer who somehow ended up with humanlike intelligence, but the body of a bear.

Bears are an unusual adventurer species. They are unable to use most equipment (hat, lite, amulet, cape and tool only), but are very strong, fast and tough and have a rather powerful racial talent tree.
The mod is an early work in progress. A future development goal is to adjust dialogues and create new scenarios to reflect a bear's limited communication capabilities.

Racial talents
- Maul: You gain two powerful unarmed paw attacks. Despite being unarmed, you can use your paws to perform most attacks that would normally require melee weapons.
- Ironhide: Gain strong defences that scale with physical power, and the ability to treat your tough hide as light armour
- Ursine Ingenuity: Reduce all cooldowns and increase almost all stats granted by the few items you can actually wear
- Huge. Angry. Bear.: You become far larger, faster, tougher, and stronger.

This addon adds Trolls as a playable race to the game.

Trolls possess the Trollblood talent, which grants them high life-regeneration, but makes them vulnerable to fire.
Their racial abilities scale with their size. A huge troll is a strong troll, but the higher they grow, the deeper they fall.

Race Stats:

Str = 3

Mag = -3

Will = -2

Dex = -1

Con = 5

Liferating = 18

Exp-Penalty = 1.4 (Trolls aren't known for learning things fast)

Size = Big (Increases with your racial abilites)

Trollblood(Passive): Life-regen, but fire-vulnerability. Scales with size.

Scent(Active): Reveals the map around you, gives you a speedboost.

Resilience of the Trolls(Passive): Increases saves and size category. Scales with size.

Song of the Trolls(Active): AOE-damage with stun-chance. Scales with size. Increases size category.

-Furious Rage: An active to boost their damage output and damage resistance temporarily.
-Unrestrained: A passive for stun/pin/disarm resistance.
-Wild Pelt: Passive damage resistance, even upping the resistance cap slightly, and increased size at higher investment levels!
-Monstrous Leap: An active ability to leap and come down with a crash, dealing damage in an aoe! Also gains a bit of size (and damage) when you do!

Gibbous
Next up, we have some nature themed werewolves! They're even green!
Stats: +3 Wil, +2 Con, +1 Str/Cun, -1 Mag
Life Rating: 13
Exp Penalty: 10%
Racial Abilities:
-Wild Rejuvenation: A regeneration and healmod boost, not just for yourself, but allies too!
-Bestial Vitality: Increased life regen and heal mod! Not much more to it, just big werewuff regen.
-Verdant Pelt: Increase your nature affinity, blight and nature resistance, and reduce the duration of detrimental effects!
-Call the Pack: Exactly what it says on the tin! Call up three wolf friends for a bit to help chow down on your enemies!

Halfmoon
Following that, these werewolves are the more magically inclined of their brethren! Moon and star themes abound.
Life Rating: 9
Stats: +3 Mag, +2 Wil, +1 Dex/Cun, -1 Str
Exp Penalty: 5%
Racial Abilities:
-Lunar Light: Activate to gain a damage shield, and a boost to all affinities for a bit. Soak that damage!
-Lunar Shadow: A passive that pops when you take enough damage in one blow, and then gives you a chance to avoid any further damage.
-Shimmering Pelt: Adaptive damage resistance that can adjust to up to 3 different types of damage at a time.
-Celestial Power: An active ability to enhance your damage output and damage penetration!

Crescent
From there, we go to some psionic fluffy friends!
Life Rating: 12
Stats: +3 Cun, +2 Wil, +1 Str/Con, -1 Dex
Exp Penalty: 8%
Racial Abilities:
-Sharp Focus: Self-buff for increased damage and crit chance!
-Shrouded Mind: Confusion and mind damage resistance, increased mental save, and a short range telepathy of all creatures at higher levels!
-Faded Pelt: Resistance to all damage, and quite a bit of it, but taking damage will eat away at the resists until they're gone!
-Psionic Howl: An aoe howl that sics some mental wolves on your enemies, giving them damage over time, reduced damage dealt, and chance for talent failure!

Newmoon

-Hunter's Agility: Boost global speed for a short time!

-Through the Shadows: An active ability that gives you an instant, variable range, no-cooldown teleport! However, the range diminishes the further you travel with it, and recovers over time.

Adds Weaver class.

Weaver is a Wilder subclass, a resilient unarmed combatant with emphasis of moving around strategically through their set-up battlefield. Their skill sets revolve around arachnids. Laying webs, injecting enemies with poison, beating enemies with your limbs, creating cocoon for later consumption, and more! Their talents mainly uses equilibrium, have huge equilibrium demand yet heavy hitting, and moderate-long cooldown. Some even needs "special charge" to use. So if you decide to become one of the weaver, make sure to use your talents and resources wisely!

Their arachnid nature starts to take shape, modifying their body and giving them the resilience, agility, wisdom, and abilities of a spider.They will even grow spider legs!

As spider would, they grow accustomed in the art of threads and webs. They can trap and disarm their preys, cut them with threads, and eventually encasing them in a cocoon.

These are some of the technique of prey hunting. Begin with an ambush, revel in "the circle of life", hasten their prey to "sleep" with specialized moves, and disable the prey's most annoying sustains!

Cocoon is an important resource for the weaver. The liquefied prey inside a cocoon are very nutritious and versatile to use beside hunger filling. The cocoon can nourish the weaver, converted to chemical weapon, and even storing genetic material for backup and cloning.

The thick and strong chitin exoskeleton of the weaver. This gives the weaver their grit and protection against enemies with various means.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

This is my own spin on a vampire race. It has some large benefits but also some very strong drawbacks.

Hey! I decided to post a beta in the hopes of getting some inspiration and feedback on various mechanics. Everything from talent names to design goals to specific trees is appreciated :)

The infected is afflicted by various infections; unique diseases which they spread to their enemies upon touch. These slow, durable melee fighters can use both attacks and magic to afflict their enemies with a plethora of diseases, eventually killing anything. They lack mobility but have many ways to heal and reduce damage. Infected relies on strength, magic and constitution.

• Note: This overloads the Corruption/Scourge tree, meaning it will be changed for the reaver class too. The only change is that the talents useable even if you don't dual wield.

Since I'm looking for feedback I'll share what I'm looking for feedback on and my future plans. (No reason to read this before trying the mod ;)
--- Design Goals ---
The infected is intended to be a tanky melee/spellcasting class that slowly stack up infections (their unique diseases) and debuffs over time versus stronger enemies, while using their weapons or magic to deal with weaker ones.

Intended Strengths:

+ Has damage smear, which makes infected really hard to burst in a single round.

+Great healing and durability.

+ Good damage after a while, unlike bulwark where you get fights that just seem to go on forever.

Intended Weaknesses:
-Low mobility
-No powerful cc.
-Unable to quickly burst enemies
-Weak aoe.
-Deals a mix of physical, blight and acid damage, making it harder to stack damage modifiers.

Have I managed/failed to achieve any of these? Are some of these are just bad ideas?

--- Problems, Plans and Thoughts ---
-I've made some changes since I last playtested it. In particular I just added the Curses and trees in order to try them out. Should they stay, be locked or removed?
-Infected is too tanky at early levels. I'm not sure about how it is later in the game (haven't tried far east yet).
-I'm considering whether to keep the doom shield tree, replace it with a similar tree, or simply remove it.
-Cyst burst deals way too much burst damage. I'm considering whether to nerf the damage or replace it with another ability which spreads diseases. Catelepsy will be removed.
-The last 2 talent in the conditioning tree do basically nothing for this class. Arguably the second one, unflinching resolve, doesn't either, but I would like to make it work somehow since I think it's a fun talent.

-An unarmed tree!
-Currently "damaging" infection is the infection that deals the majority of the damage, I'll probably revert to an earlier version where each infection did damage. As soon as I've come up with a fix for the synergy it has with osmosis shield.

Background: Originally, I wanted to use this as a surprise feature for cool boss fights I had in mind... Until the GENERAL usefulness occurred to me. Hope you appreciate it!

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds damage logs about loss in healing (for example, if you're healed 200, but have -40% healing, it will display "80 anti-healing").
It also has an option to change how negative healing factor operates so that it is multiplicative instead of additive (a behavior which makes healing reduction generally more useful to you and enemies alike).
Background: The effects of reduced healing are quite invisible, and this always bugged me! This makes it more noticable so that when things like Draconic Body are affected, you can understand just how much damage it actually caused!

1. improve the default shockbolt of enemy, making them brighter and easier to find.
2. when your rest/run/autoexplore got stopped with monsters nearby, you will see these monsters in combat log, with more detailed information.

Background: After watching a friend nearly rage quit ToME after failing to understand stealth mechanics. It inspired me to add more information to the UI!

Adds the Damblis, a race of humans developed during the Age of Allure, though not as well known as the Higher. During the heights of human and halfing power, many nobles sought entertainments of all variety: comical, martial... sensual. One particualr noble house began to curate beauty and charisma among their subjects, using any means they could, leading to the creation of the Damblis humans. While the details of the process that led to their refinement are unknown, the results were unquestionable: a breed of humans possessing unmatched beauty and charm, able to beguile any who so much as looked upon them. Some say their allure goes beyond mere physical beauty and swear they entrance others by caressing their inner thoughts with mental powers beyond understanding.

1. Dressed to Kill: Once per turn when an enemy sees you they must save against your mindpower or suffer mind damage. The damage can not be reduced by mental save and can be a mental critical hit. Your mindpower for this check is boosted based on your equipped rings, necklace, and belt. Enemies of rank Normal and lower will simply die instead of taking damage.

2. Stunning Looks: Enemies within a cone with a radius equal to your vision range must make a physical save against your mindpower or become stunned for several turns.

3. Irresistible: Enemies who can see you but are not adjacent to you suffer from a stacking affliction which reduces their saves, defense, and resistance to all damage.

4. Take it Off: All enemies who can see you when you sustain this talent will suffer from talent failure chance so long as they can still see you and you continue to sustain the talent. Requires a belt.

This revision is mostly about removing incompatible bits which changed between 1.4 and 1.5, so the classes are rather bare at the moment. I'm registering it so I can play online. I'll post when the additional content is ready.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
• The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
• The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• Forbidden Tomes: Find special artifact books of ancient lore. But, read at your own peril, for the story they tell may very well suck you in... quite literally.

• Occult Egress: A strange, extremely old, contraption of unknown origin. It seems to require some kind of code sequence to activate. Maybe you will find some during your adventures?
