| Addons | Playable Transmigrator Race 1.7.6transmigrator Ascendancy Level Cap Remover 1.7.6--- DESCRIPTION --- This addon removes the level 50 cap from the game (Age of Ascendancy main campaign and arena mode). I'm unsure if it works with DLC (I don't have the DLCs ;-; ). Enjoy :) P.S: This is a simpler version of "Campaign Uncapper" by Starkeep. Instead of scaling every dungeon to your level, this one only removes the level cap. Consider checking that addon out! --- INSTALLATION --- 1) Download the file 2) Move it inside /(Your Game Directory)/game/addons 3) Launch Tales of Maj'Eyal 4) On the main menu, select "Addons" 5) Find "Ascendancy Level Cap Remover" and ensure it's active --- COMPATIBILITY --- It is not compatible with mods that change data/birth/descriptors.lua (It should be compatible with most mods; it is unknown if it works with the ones that add new campaigns) Updated to work for 1.7.6 Race: Formorians 1.7.6Adds the Formorians as a playable race, an elusive ant-people who live in colonies under the isle of Rel. The Formorians are an adapted version of the Formicids from DCSS. Formorians are physically strong despite their small size, and can use their strength and multiple limbs to wield a two-handed weapon in one hand-pair, much like Ogres. However, they're not nearly as sturdy as they are strong, being almost as frail as Yeeks. They make up for this by sensing their foes from afar with their antennae and being able to dig an escape tunnel in an emergency. Still a work in progress--tweaks to the talents, balance changes, and more skins are likely coming! Bear Race 1.7.6Mod that allows you to play as an adventurer who somehow ended up with humanlike intelligence, but the body of a bear. Bears are an unusual adventurer species. They are unable to use most equipment (hat, lite, amulet, cape and tool only), but are very strong, fast and tough and have a rather powerful racial talent tree. Racial talents There are also 3 race evolution prodigies, with more to come if I have any good ideas. Suggestions welcome. Improved Combat Text v2 Custom Edit - CJK 1.7.5Standalone CJK-compatible fork of Improved Combat Text v2 Custom Edit. Changes in this fork: This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text: Do not enable this fork together with Improved Combat Text v2 or its Custom Edit. Original code credits: Codefly, LeoMaven and Delfofthebla. Icon credit: Lorc. Player AIoo Custom 1.7.6This is a fork of Player AIoo which is a fork of PlayerGAI by Glavius which is a fork of PlayerAI by Charidan. Right click on your Character and choose "Define Player-AIoo" at the bottom to tell the AI how often it use which talent (like with a clone/ golem) This addon let the player use the AI coded for NPC, so your character can fight, rest, auto-explore on his own. Be warned, it can put your character in a sure death situation. Note for Developers: This addon superwrites Player:act(), so if your addon also touches Player:act() change the load order so that the Player AI addon loads last. Known Bugs: - v 1.4.1: Added option to stop when encountering high ranking enemies - v 1.4.2: Added a way to save/load talent priorities - v 1.4.3: Added option to stop when encountering X number of enemies Resourceful Wanderers 1.7.6Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:
Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well. These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order. Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description. Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else. Mage Knight Unofficial 1.7.6UNOFFICIAL update. Attempting to fix broken talent script that causes game to lock out when NPCs load in with talent. Please let me know if you find any broken scripts and let me know along with the error log and I will see if I can resolve it, though don't expect the world as I have little specific coding knowledge for ToME; I may be able to resolve basic errors but I don't know if I can restore broken and non-functional talent effects. :') If the original creator wishes for me to remove this please let me know and I will do so, in spite of the original mod being wholly abandoned. Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes. This addon also includes several miscellaneous options available in the Mage Knight Plus tab of the Game Options menu. Forum discussion thread: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=48329 Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down. Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are stealthy, mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations. Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move. Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain. Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition. Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools. Damblis Race 1.7.6Adds the Damblis, a race of humans developed during the Age of Allure, though not as well known as the Higher. During the heights of human and halfing power, many nobles sought entertainments of all variety: comical, martial... sensual. One particualr noble house began to curate beauty and charisma among their subjects, using any means they could, leading to the creation of the Damblis humans. While the details of the process that led to their refinement are unknown, the results were unquestionable: a breed of humans possessing unmatched beauty and charm, able to beguile any who so much as looked upon them. Some say their allure goes beyond mere physical beauty and swear they entrance others by caressing their inner thoughts with mental powers beyond understanding. 1. Dressed to Kill: Once per turn when an enemy sees you they must save against your mindpower or suffer mind damage. The damage can not be reduced by mental save and can be a mental critical hit. Your mindpower for this check is boosted based on your equipped rings, necklace, and belt. Enemies of rank Normal and lower will simply die instead of taking damage. 2. Stunning Looks: Enemies within a cone with a radius equal to your vision range must make a physical save against your mindpower or become stunned for several turns. 3. Irresistible: Enemies who can see you but are not adjacent to you suffer from a stacking affliction which reduces their saves, defense, and resistance to all damage. 4. Take it Off: All enemies who can see you when you sustain this talent will suffer from talent failure chance so long as they can still see you and you continue to sustain the talent. Requires a belt. 1.0.2 1.0.1 1.0.0 Youkai Pack 1.7.6Adds a variety of random youkai that have weird and/or stupid quirks, generally pertaining to equipment slots. Spellsword 1.7.6This addon grew out of an attempt to rework the Arcane Blade base class from the TOME module way back in beta. Previous versions can be found under the "Arcane Blade Rework" addon. I got sufficient positive feedback, and it was a sufficient departure from the original class, that it was decided to split it off to its own class, while letting the Arcane Blade be updated by others. The class revolves around melee spells, utilizing a mixture of stamina and mana require skills. Probably the most unique feature are the elemental stances, only which one of is active at a time, and which are activated by using the basic elemental strikes. Rocketman Gear Pack 1.7.6Un-ego'd gear that can be upgraded! Soon to be expanded with custom art and more items.. Adds sunstone gear to the game, and a new type of ego based off of crystal hearts! The art is not finished yet, but as is there are several character sprites to choose from along with sprites for the chest armor, swords, and sun crystals. Sunstone is an armor type that provides bonuses to max life, blight and darkness resistance at the expense of being ravaged by acid. Sunstone weapons provide damage conversion, and a slight bonus to penetration of their element. And lastly, sun stones/crystals upgrade gear of white/green quality to artifact status. Increasing their armor and light/nature damage. In addition to providing some light damage on hit. (soon to be split into mossy (nature) and regular (light) variants. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! Corrupted Skeleton 1.7.6A few changes to skelly I thought would make it actually interesting to pick for some classes as it previously was easily the worst race because it didn't cover any of the weaknesses or encourage any synergies with any class. These changes make Skeleton focused a lot more on being a tank, which its talents originally hinted at. The first talent now gives a massive amount of physical saves that scale with constitution. This replaces the duration reduction of the third talent. The duration reduction is largely a useless stat if you can't get it to 100% reduction as debuffs are either "I don't care about this" or "I want this gone immediately." Immunities have typically always been the go to. Most classes have their immunites or debuff clears as their third or final talent, so putting this as the first talent gives some incentive to use this over Shalore. Originally it was going to be full physical debuff immunity like with Spine of the World but after some deliberation I figured this was too good. I kind of like the saves here as a way to demonstrate just how much is needed to be good. The numbers for this are chosen that provided you put in significant investment, it should provide excellent returns such that it's the only source of physical save needed on difficulties of insane or lower. The third talent now gives you the Corruption/Bone tree. This here because I thought this would be fun, and thematic. I got a bit of feedback that people wanted a mobility tree on Skeleton, but honestly I feel like that removes one of the interesting weaknesses of the class, that you are forced to use blink rune for mobility. This drawback provides some interesting decisions in what to select for your race and I think it should remain to encourage strategic building. Also: Reassemble now scales with Constitution. Both Bone Armour and Reassemble's descriptions have been updated to fully detail the things they scale with. They previously did not mention that they scale with your max HP. Classes that would be good with this skelly rework: Classes without a lot of defenses, classes with a lot of mobility, classes with the Corruption/Bone tree, classes that don't need to focus on 3 non-Constitution stats. Update 1.2.0 Also I fixed a couple of bugs. Learning the Bone talents now correctly gives the Vim resource bar and puts them on your hotbar automatically. Infinite Dungeon Challenges Fix 1.7.6Fixes a bug with infinite dungeon challenges caused by clones/summons Bloodriver Classes 1.7.6Adds some Mage subclasses. Currently, adds the following classes: Bloodriver Adherent --- Bloodriver Adherents are very in tune with arcane energies, their mana will buffer any harm done to them. It also makes them know basic elemental spells innately. Bloodriver Adherent talents revolves mainly on their bleed mechanics. A lot of talents costs both mana and life to cast. There are around 11 custom made talent category which you can choose. Some are essential to Bloodriver Adherent, as this subclass try to utilize bleed as much as possible. There are currently 9 variation of totems. 5 which you will learn by default, and the remaining 4 you will learn by: This subclass is a bit tricky to play and on the harder side of difficulty-wise. Also beware, some of the talents are very powerful, but makes no distinguishing between friend or foe, so you may harm your allies, or even yourself! --- Bloodriver Staffmasters do not attune so much to arcane energies compared to Adherents. Instead, they hone themselves to gain martial prowess. While they don't have easy access to basic element trees compared to Adherents, they have their own unique talents with stronger emphasis on bleed. --- If you are starting as humans, halflings, elves, or ogres, there is a small quest given at birth, you can do the quest and get some reward for it. There are also some lore fragments scattered regarding The Bloodrivers. Please enjoy your time as One of The Bloodrivers! Best regards, Shad3. Outsiders 1.7.6The Sher'tul wiped out all the gods. All the gods of Eyal in any case, and only the ones that mattered, and not the ones that escapes, and some of them left fragments, and even then there are so many excpetions. Your are a minor god, either from beyond Eyal, or missed by the purge. Beneath the notice of the godkillers. But the Sher'tul are gone, and compared to the mortals you stand well above. This is a continuation of Godling which I published previously and contains the Engineered from that. The three races are: Engineered: a made godlike entity, grows with level (grows: Stats/resources/speed) Lost god: a fallen god from before the godhunt, can spend gold to 'spread faith' gaining abilities (stats/resources/speed/durability/resistances) True Demon: Inspiration for Malrokian modifications. Able to manipulate souls they have captured. Grows with time and kills (stats/resources/speed/durability/affinities) Todo: True demons are supposed to use a dialog to select which 'garden' your using your souls in. True demons should either be using addtemporary for stat gains, or I need to create a superload, as the existing method of pushing an absolute difference is considered 'not best practice' (due to the need to recalculate where stats are applied). Nekarcos's Quality of Life 09: Automation (GOLDEN) - Rando 1.7.6Fixed transmog on unequip. Furrae Race 1.7.6Adds new races to take your game in different directions. Feline: Lucky and agile warriors that prefer keeping their hide in one piece. Have an extra ring slot, but no feet slot due to oddly shaped feet. Puppeteer -- Mage Class 1.7.6Adds the Puppeteer, a Mage class that manipulates and maintains three puppet companions that fight in their stead. Puppeteers pull the strings of the battlefield from a safe distance, rapidly laying out powerful weapon attacks by proxy through their puppets and letting them intercept the enemy's action in turn. They possess techniques to repair damaged puppets or protect them from harm. No mere conjuror, a Puppeteer is at once tactician, healer, and lynchpin. Puppeteer talent trees include: A charade of life has yet a life of its own, adventurer. Cherish those that lack names. Without them, one is truly alone.
