Void Scholar - Celestial Class 1.7.0

Adds the Void Scholar, a twisted Celestial class themed around cosmic expansion and the emptiness of space, featuring a unique starting scenario. Void Scholars are dedicated spellcasters with poor durability, but many ways to negate damage and debilitate foes. Their spells are ineffective against nearby targets, but grow incredibly potent when cast at a distance -- strike from the depths of infinity, where no eyes or blades can reach! They use a unique resource called "Void Energy" that is built up by casting certain spells and quickly disperses when out of combat, requiring careful management to retain momentum.

Logia (generic): Three forbidden chants to turn away slings, arrows, and everything else!
Void (generic): Render foes impotent before the majesty of the Void!
Vacuum: Draw upon the cosmic vacuum to replenish your resources!

Genesis (locked): Repaint the world in your image to build overwhelming power!
Hyperspace (locked): Stretch and bend the universe to resculpt existence and unleash untold destruction!
Terminus (locked): Bring the slow, inevitable doom of the universe upon your foes!

- After generating the world map, using zone exits or recalling allows you to teleport to most reachable zones, instead of having to walk through the world map. Recalling can still drag doomelves/doombringers/demonologists to the Anteroom of Agony, and the teleportation won't let you bypass Crypt of Kryl'Feijan, Godfeaster, or the Dreadfell ambush.

- Maj'Eyal characters start with the Orb of Communication, which can be used to contact the alchemists, Elder of Last Hope, Protector Myssil, and Zemekkys when appropriate.

- Achievement pop-ups and announcing your own achievements in chat can be disabled in the game UI and Online options, respectively.

- Added an easily toggleable "digging mode" that automatically uses your Dig talent when you move into a diggable wall with no hostiles in sight.

- Convenient Digging now automatically uses the Dig talent instead of replacing the talent. This fixes all digging time disparities.
- Convenient Digging now only digs when you try to move into a feature that is actually diggable and there are no hostiles in sight.
- You can now toggle achievement pop-ups in the UI options.

This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first
Useful when in late game you interested only in Tier 5 items

There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default
which is if enabled makes sorting by Tier default when opening Inventory
Otherwise click on 'T' to sort items by Tier

items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables

Sholtar 1.5.5

Sholtar have no racial talents of their own; instead, the four slots can be used to learn talents from defeated enemies (of a high enough rank). In this manner, the Sholtar can improve nearly any class by adding abilities from other calsses, or even talents that are normally exclusive to NPCs.
Sholtar are not quite as hardy as other humans, and receive -2 to strength, dexterity and constitution, and have a life rating of 8. On the other hand, they are exceptionally quick-witted, with a bonus of +6 to cunning, an extra generic point every 3 levels, and an experience 'penalty' of -20%.

The Sholtar were once a great nation, with many vasts cities in the southeastern regions of Maj'Eyal. In spite of the harsh, dry terrain they inhabitied, or perhaps because of it, they were a people of great ingenuity and adaptability.

The Cataclysm which tore the world apart centuries ago swept nearly all of the Sholtar lands into the murky depths, and all but erased their people from the face of Eyal.

While very few survived, those who did fought for survival with all of the wit and grit that was their birthright. An already adaptable people grew to become even more adaptable through neccessity, and it has become their greatest strength.

Sholtar are able to learn abilities by carefully studying others, and, regardless of their class, they can always improve by incorporating the talents of others into thier skill set.

Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down.

Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions.

Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move.

Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain.

Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition.

Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools.

You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)
Note: Unfortunately the only time that addons can get the possible escort types is after the random escort quest is assigned.
This means escorts added by other addons will not be available for selection, but will still be possible to find using the random selection.

Adds the Zilquish race, an artificial lifeform created by necromancers based on the accidental birth of the first skeletal ooze. They're tough, and can use natural talents. Comes with one secret unlockable feature, and one less secret unlockable feature! They will be added to the racepack on its next update, but for now here they are alone.

This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack!

Grove Keeper 1.6.2

Adds the Grove Keeper, a Wilder subclass. The Grove Keeper is pirmarily a mindpower-caster with limited summoning ability, but has the option to mix slings, or one-handed weapons and unarmed attacks, into their skill set. They are also able to become proficient with mindstars and focus wholly on mind-casting. Includes advanced class categories favoring either weapon-hybrid or mind-casting play style, with the advanced hybrid tree working equally well for ranged or melee.

Adds the Frost Invoker, a mage subclass.

The Frost Invoker is a Cold-focused caster and unarmed fighter. Their primary stats are Magic and Dexterity.
Frost Invokers know Combat Training and Survival(locked) and have 11 new spell trees, 3 generic and 8 class (of which 3 start locked).

Generic:

Frozen Core: Unarmed training with 40/80 Mag/Dex dam mods, and utility.
Rime Guard: Defense, with a damage shield and one-shot protection.
Ice Floes: Mobility and utility focused on an icy ground effect.

Class:

Hail: Offensive spells which can reduce the cd of Artic talents.
Arctic: Unarmed attacks with AoE, a pin, a multi-hit, and a gap closer.
Winter: Utility and defense, with a decoy and a scout.
Frost: Defense and utility focused on building and consuming a stacking effect.
Chill: Debuffs which proc on cold damage, with active conditional sustain stripping.

Locked:

Blizzard: Defense and debuffs focused on a single AoE spell.
Icicles: Adds a cold-damage psuedo-weapon that procs on unarmed attacks. (high level)
Cryomania: Maical and physical synergy, and cold resist / ice-block penetration sustain. (high level)

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

      Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
      Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
      That something is you.

      Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!


      Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

      • Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
      • Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

      Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.


      Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

      • Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
      • Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.


      Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

      • Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
      • The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
      • The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
      • The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
      • Forbidden Tomes: Find special artifact books of ancient lore. But, read at your own peril, for the story they tell may very well suck you in... quite literally.

At raw talent level 3, you are so fast that while on the move you can potentially dodge attacks from even the most skilled of enemies, receiving a 9% evasion chance for 2 turns every time you move. At raw talent level 5, you are fast enough to use the cover afforded by enemies to avoid even undodgeable attacks, receiving a 4% chance to negate all damage from any given attack for 2 turns any time you move into a tile adjacent to at least one enemy and increasing the evasion bonus by 2% per such enemy. Effects scale with Dexterity.

        Thanks to your speed and ability to use air magic to control your momentum, the evasion and damage negation chances apply even if the movement was forced or from a talent.

        Your skill at avoiding attacks also allows you to turn them to your benefit. Starting at raw talent level 2, you gain a 11% chance to counter attack for 89% damage any time a melee attack misses you. At raw talent level 4, you have an equal chance to deflect projectiles to an adjacent square, and when a melee attack misses you you also have a chance to maneuver the enemy into attacking a different, adjacent enemy (if any).

        Description: You are a whirlwind of death, moving among your foes and striking them down in a blur of violent motion. Every time you move, you make an attack against all adjacent opponents for 12% weapon damage (this scales with your attack speed). You can only attack a given foe in this way once per turn, and you can't attack a target you already made a melee attack against previously in the turn.

        At raw talent level 3, you get 0 bonus free movements every time you kill an enemy, allowing you to easily move onto the next.

        At raw talent level 5, your sheer speed allows you to make Whirlwind Dervish attacks even when moving due to talents (including the swap movement from this talent), and your ability to use air magic to control your momentum allows you to do so even when forced to move by enemy talents.

        If you wield a two-handed weapon, you throw yourself into a berserk fury, denying any injury. This functions as a shell shield (the resistance gained is equal to the proportion of your max life that the shield value would cover).

        If you wield a weapon and shield, you ward off any attack that may come, creating a regular damage shield - but at double strength.

        If you wield a single weapon (or are unarmed), you guard yourself as best you can, and use the reprieve to get a second wind, creating a time shield (though this does not reduce incoming effect durations).

        Zilquish

        Description: Your body is made mostly of slime, and you force it to create a constructive symbiosis with a mindstar, spreading sharpened fragments of natural crystal throughout your form.
        Anyone who strikes you in melee is subject to a counterattack for 38% of the equipped mindstar's damage as nature. This can only occur once a turn per attacker.

        You additionally count as equipping the mindstar.
        The mindstar can be at most tier 3.
        Such a connection to nature makes it harder to dismiss you as nothing but an undead abomination.
        Eyal's Blessing

        Description: The iconic power of the Mage Knights, you channel the raw energy of your magic outwardly as you fight, saving the effort of taking active control of your power and allowing it to flow freely. The power you are channeling is visible in an aura around you, bright enough to increase your light radius by 6. At base, channeling your power outwardly adds 26 damage to all attacks of the energy type appropriate to your mage knight offensive spells. This scales with the higher of Spellpower or Mindpower.

        In addition, your first successful melee attack each turn grants a 46% chance to trigger one of various Mage Knight talents instead of dealing the bonus damage. This quarters both the cooldown and Essence cost of the talent, and can only happen once per turn. The talent operates at two-thirds normal power. Triggered talents are determined randomly, but with prioritization based on how useful they are in the moment (spells that restore life are more likely to trigger when low on life, spells that provide buffs are more likely to trigger when you aren't heavily buffed, etc). Spells of higher talent level are generally prioritized over those of lower level.

        If you are wielding a two-handed weapon, triggered talents operate at full power.

        If you are using a shield, when you trigger a talent, you also have a 50% chance to automatically Block. Defensive talents have their priority increased when using a shield.

        If you are using two weapons, when you trigger a talent, you have a 50% chance to trigger the talent a second time at no further resource cost.

        If you are using a single one-handed weapon (or unarmed), your chance of triggering a talent is increased by half.

        Note that since Essence users rely on channeling minimal amounts of mana, they can't wield staves to the same effect as others. The staff Accuracy bonus is reduced to one-fifth normal for characters with an Essence pool.

        Your power modifier for a low Essence applies to the bonus damage and to your chance of triggering a talent. Note that since it will also apply to the power of your talents normally, this means that Eldritch Combat is doubly impacted by a low Essence - pace yourself!

        Some Mage Knight talents have "Advanced Energy" effects. These effects apply when you manually use the talent while Eldritch Combat is active. Many of these advanced effects may be occasionally inconvenient, so if you don't wish to trigger them you may deactivate Eldritch Combat to prevent them.

        Description: While Eldritch Combat allows a Mage Knight to channel their magical power outwardly while they fight, Eldritch Body lets them channel it inwardly, directing the flow of it through their body to augment their speed and power, and help them withstand powerful forces.

        When you first learn this talent, you may substitute Magic for Strength and Dexterity for purposes of equipment requirements, and you substitute magic for all other abilities for purposes of weapon damage, and you gain the ability to wear all forms of armor. Of course, if you have the physical aptitude to wield the weapon normally, that still helps to some degree; you add 11% of the normal ability damage modifiers into your weapons as well; weapons that can use both Strength and Dexterity will convert the Strength modifier to a Dexterity modifier as well if your Dexterity is higher than your Strength. In addition, using your magic to strengthen, hasten, and reinforce your body allows you to make the most of your fighting style:
        -When armed with two weapons, they may both be one-handed weapons. For each dagger that you wield, your offhand damage modifier increases by 25% (if you wield a single dagger or a dagger with a shield this modifier will apply to the bonus attack from them as well).
        -When armed with a two-handed weapon, any time you attack you make a second attack for 25% normal damage.
        -When armed with a shield, any time you attack you also execute a shield bash for 50% normal damage.
        -When armed with a single weapon (or unarmed) any time you attack you also make an unarmed strike for 50% normal damage. When fully unarmed you get a +25% bonus to your combat speed.

        Your ability to magically reinforce your body allows you to mitigate overwhelming forces, although this takes a lot of effort and your strength will fade rapidly when you do it, possibly even to the point of death. You reduce all damage received from other characters by potentially as much as 23%. However, the actual reduction is multiplied by both the percentage of your current effective life over your maximum effective life (which includes damage shields and negative life threshold), and the percentage of the damage over your current effective life. So this protects you best when you are at high health and facing high incoming damage - lesser attacks aren't worth the effort to mitigate, and as your strength fails so does your ability to exert that sort of effort. The calculation accumulates damage over the course of one turn, so multiple attacks all coming in the same turn will be reduced according to their combined total compared to your initial life. If the final percent reduction is below 15%, no reduction will occur at all. All damage mitigated by this effect is then returned as irresistible damage over the next 5 turns as your strength fades.
