Addons

Exponential Leveling 1.4.8

Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up.
It is meant to make Madness difficulty possible without cheating or hacking of any kind. The game isn't really meant to be beaten on Madness-Roguelike in a legit way, which is why trainers/cheats/savescams exist. There have been only a couple of winners that might be real and legit, and they are Adventure class with no video proof.

Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to use this addon:

    - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
    - Start a New Game.
    - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
    - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.

Operating Modes:
    - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
    - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
    - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
    - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.

Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes):
    - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
    - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.

POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50):
        STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA

VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247
BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247
BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247
BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247
EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247
CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247
ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247

+ ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+

All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat.

Update v4.0.3
  • Fixed the partial points (0.5 or negative -0) display bug in the character sheet and levelup screen. Overall points are the same as before.
Update v4.0.2
  • Fixed equilibrium regen bug (now it correctly reduces your equilibrium per turn by a small amount and stacks with other effects)
Update v4.0
  • Compatible with TOME 1.7.4
  • Options are much easier to understand and more customizable
  • Balanced mode (Default) is now meant to make Madness ACHIEVABLE without cheating; it's still hard as hell.
Exponential Leveling 1.4.8

Spellsword 1.5.3

This addon grew out of an attempt to rework the Arcane Blade base class from the TOME module way back in beta. Previous versions can be found under the "Arcane Blade Rework" addon. I got sufficient positive feedback, and it was a sufficient departure from the original class, that it was decided to split it off to its own class, while letting the Arcane Blade be updated by others.

The class revolves around melee spells, utilizing a mixture of stamina and mana require skills. Probably the most unique feature are the elemental stances, only which one of is active at a time, and which are activated by using the basic elemental strikes.

Spellsword 1.5.3

Adventurer Tweaks 1.2.5

Tweaks the Adventurer class so that its skill multipliers are equal to 1.3, as well as adding 3 stat poits, and two extra generic and talent points.

Adventurer Tweaks 1.2.5

Prowler Class 1.4.8

Adds the Prowler subclass, a hybrid Wilder that uses stealth and mobility to take down their foes. Uses a combination of standard Rogue and Wilder talents, four new Wild-Gift trees and two new Technique trees. Prowlers are wild-rogues that focus on agile melee combat with psiblades or daggers and use their strong will to augment their abilities and call nature to their bidding.

Prowler Class 1.4.8

Midnight 1.5.0

Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes.
First is the Moon Paladin, who fight using two weapons and the two moons.
Second is the Starslinger, who imbues their shots with the power of the stars.
Also two new subraces that start in the Far East, regardless of class.
Mardrop Humans and Star Elves.

Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation.
New second starting zone: The Tenebrous Glades.
Travel to the barely made training camp of Midnight via a jumpgate on the west side of the Gates of Morning, then head southwest.
The shadows summoned to conceal the camp have become restless and dangerous. Quiet them down and investigate what is working them up.

Currently there are nine new categories.
Celestial/Night: A utility based generic category that generates negative celestial energies.
Celestial/Lunar Combat: Powerful offensive talents invoking the power of the moons.
Celestial/Guidance: Some defensive and one offensive talents for Moon Paladin.
Celestial/Shooting Stars: Combines star magic with ranged weapons.
Celestial/Deep Space: Some high level celestial magic for Starslinger.
Celestial/Sigils: Shape negative celestial energies into traps.
Celestial/Glory: High level light magic for Sun Paladins and Anorithil.
Celestial/Moon Magic: Magic derived from the two moons of Eyal.
Celestial/Umbra: High level dark magic for Anorithil and Star Slingers.

It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery.
Reworks Chants and Hymns, and buffs Sunburst.

Midnight 1.5.0

Adventurer Buff Addon 1.4.8

- All Stone Warden categories
- Generic category Cursed/Cursed Aura

Zephyr 1.5.5

Mage Knight 1.5.5

Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes.

Forum discussion thread: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=48329

Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down.

Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions.

Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move.

Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain.

Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition.

Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools.

      Experience Controller 1.4.8

Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes.

You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to enable/disable or configure this addon:

      • Download, install and activate it. Start a New Game.
      • You can enable/disable or change mode, set the amount of flat experience or multiplier to apply to each future kill from the "Gameplay" settings in-game.

      Modes functionality:

      • VANILLA -> Doesn't change anything compared to original game.
      • BALANCED (default) -> Gives on general more experience to the player on higher difficulties than original game, depending also on the rank and level of the defeated enemy.
      • VERY FAST -> Gives 250% flat experience compared to original TOME.
      • FLAT -> Each kill gives X experience points, regardless of what you kill or what level you/they are. How much per kill can be configured in the Gameplay settings.
      • CUSTOM -> Multiplies by X all the experience you gain from kills. You can set your own multiplier in the Gameplay settings.
      • INSTANT LV50 -> One kill for LV50. A cheat way to test out new builds REALLY fast.

      Tomes of Knowledge 1.2.4

Do you dislike it, when your escortees die on harder difficulties at the zone in, without you being able to help them? Do you sometimes feel as if money was worth little to nothing in Maj'Eyal? If so, this addon might help you. The library of Last Hope now sells seven Tomes with on-use-rewards, that mirror those of seven escort-types. The library of Elvala sells two (very expensive) tomes, that lead to even greater rewards after using them.

Fixed: talent types are now known, but not learned

      Tomes of Knowledge 1.2.4

      Primal Chosen Class 1.4.0

Adds the Primal Chosen class, a celestial brawler that wields temporal and darkness damage, before slowly discovering a talent for chronomancy.

This addon is now DEPRECATED and will cause bugs. Instead, please use the Celestial Oddities pack!

      Primal Chosen Class 1.4.0

      Slightly More Adventurous 1.1.0

Allows Adventurer characters to use some talent trees from addon-provided classes that would otherwise be inaccessible.

More specifically: Adventurers typically are allowed to use talent trees for classes added by addons, unless those classes are flagged as not for use on random bosses. This addon bypasses that check, making talent trees from classes so flagged available to Adventurers.

The flash of lightning at both your start and endpoints will illuminate the area with a radius of 5, potentially blinding all foes within for 2 turns. Enemies who were currently targeting you will lose track of you. Enemies who weren't targeting you will be surprised, losing their next turn.

At raw talent level 3, the clap of thunder will also stun affected enemies.

At raw talent level 5, the shockwave of the lightning strike will also deal 31 lightning damage to affected enemies.

The range will increase with your Spellpower.

This spell can be triggered by Eldritch Combat, triggering only the lightning flash, not the teleport.

If you are wielding a two-handed weapon, you gain +0% to all damage per target struck for 0 turns.

If you are wielding a weapon and shield, your rapid shield blocks result in a damage shield that absorbs 0 damage per target hit, lasting 0 turns.

If you are wielding dual weapons, your whirling weapons create a difficult defense to penetrate; you gain 0 Defense per foe struck and Evasion of 20% + 0% per foe struck for 0 turns.

        Range: melee/personal
        Cooldown: 0
        Travel Speed: instantaneous
Usage Speed: Instant (0% of a turn)
Description: You channel magical energy through your weapons while this talent is sustained, adding 12 damage to all attacks of the energy type appropriate to your mage knight offensive spells. This number varies based on fighting style used (note that it already includes any modifiers for your current weapon!) and scales with Spellpower.

In addition, each attack grants a 22% chance (based on your current weapon) to trigger one of various Mage Knight talents instead of dealing the bonus Arcane damage. This quarters the cooldown of the talent, and can only happen once per turn. Talents triggered in this way do not cost Stamina; other resource costs still apply. Triggered spells are determined randomly, but with prioritization based on how useful they are in the moment (spells that restore life are more likely to trigger when low on life, spells that provide buffs are more likely to trigger when you aren't heavily buffed, etc). Spells of higher talent level are generally prioritized over those of lower level.

If you are wielding a two-handed weapon, passive damage is doubled, and triggered talents have their power increased by 50%.

If you are using a shield, passive damage is increased by 50%. Trigger chance is increased by 20% and passive damage further doubled against foes with the Counterstrike effect. A triggered talent is also followed up with a shield bash. Defensive talents have priority increased while wielding a shield, and Block can be triggered by Eldritch Combat.

If you are using two weapons, they may both be one-handed weapons. Each weapon deals passive damage and has a chance to trigger a talent (though you still only get one trigger per turn).

If you are using a single one-handed weapon (or unarmed), passive damage is increased by 50%, the base chance of triggering a talent increases by 15%, and if a talent triggers, it might take effect twice (using half the original trigger chance). The second trigger won't cost any further resources.

Staves are designed for more normal spellcasting styles, so mage knights require more effort to channel their powers through them. Resultantly, the chance to trigger a spell while wielding a staff is halved, and staves don't get the triggered spell power bonus for normal two-handed weapons (they retain the passive damage bonus). Of course, staves remain extremely good conductors of magic - normal staff accuracy bonus applies, so once a talent does trigger it will probably deal a lot of damage.

      		1/5
      • Effective talent level: 1.2
        Use mode: Passive
Description: While active, your magical powers bolster your physical capabilities. You substitute Magic for Strength and Dexterity for purposes of weapon damage and equipment requirements, as well as for the Strength and Dexterity requirements of the Armor Mastery talents. Of course, if you have the physical aptitude to wield the weapon normally, that still helps to some degree; you add 12% of the normal Strength or Dexterity damage modifiers into your weapons as well. Your ability to augment your melee skills with magic works regardless of the weapon you wield; you get a 24% bonus damage with all melee weapons, including unarmed strikes. This doesn't stack with other mastery talents, and unlike most mastery talents does not include a physical power bonus (although see the Eldritch Aura talent).

This chest is an extension of old Sher'tul places of power. Any items dropped inside are transported to an other place, processed and destroyed to extract energy.
The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you.

When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level.
Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them.
