| Addons | QuickTome: Remove Stat Requirements 1.3.1 Prowler Class 1.3.1Adds the Prowler subclass, a hybrid Wilder that uses stealth and mobility to take down their foes. Uses a combination of standard Rogue and Wilder talents, four new Wild-Gift trees and two new Technique trees. Prowlers are wild-rogues that focus on agile melee combat with psiblades or daggers and use their strong will to augment their abilities and call nature to their bidding. Bonus Escorts 1.3.1Adds Wilder and Psion escorts. Half-Cost Category Mastery 1.3.1 Undead Heritage 1.3.0Makes undead more powerful by allowing them to stack their original racial traits onto themselves. This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack! Shadowmancy 1.3.1 Everything is Unique! Fork 1.3.1A fork of Everything is Unique. Its broken. Use Randboss Rando instead. https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/randboss_rando Extra Dungeons 1.3.0In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.) Current mod features: Overpowered Levelup Bonuses 1.3.1Gives extra talent, generic, category, prodigy, and saves every level. Also gives increased bonuses for wil, dex, con. Pragmatic Heroism 1.1.0Modifies the life bar to show useful information when the player is below zero life. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Exponential Leveling 1.3.1Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
- Start a New Game.
- Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
- You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
- Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
- Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
- Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
- All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
- MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.
POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50): STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247 BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247 BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247 BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247 EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247 CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247 ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247 + ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+ All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat. Update v4.0.3
QuickTome: Resource Tweaks 1.3.1 Archreaver 1.3.1Adds a new class-the Archreaver-that is a combination of Archmage and Reaver. The archreaver has 4 unique talent trees as well as a couple vanilla talent trees. More info at the forum thread. Alchemy Reward 1.3.0Adds the Spell/Alchemy tree as a reward from Angolwen for completing the Tempest Peak quest with them, to match the earning of the Fungus tree by Antimagic characters. Derived from the Conveyance Reward addon by Waladil. Ghouls Dont Breathe 1.3.1This belt removes breathing because it makes you undead but ghouls still breathe?! Howgash! GHOULS DONT BREATHE!! Mighty Level Up Cheat 1.3.0Greatly enhances rate of point gain for talents, generics, stats, categories and even prodigies. Adventurer Class Boost 1.3.1This mod is not intended to be balanced. For the majority of players, it will likely spoil/ruin the game. If you are one of those players, do not download or use the mod. This mod alters the Adventurer class to provide even more freedom in customizing your talents. A new elven subrace is also included which provides several talents (i.e. racial) which Adventurer does not pick up. Sufficient points and options are available to make character level the only limiting factor in your talent selections. You are not obligated to use all points provided. Given the boosts your character will receive while playing with this mod active, it is strongly recommended that you select the highest difficulty setting available to you. If you have not yet unlocked the Adventurer class, you will also need the Ignore Race/Class Locks mod. This mod was tested with TOME v1.3.1. Since it only edits the Adventurer-class-specific data and adds a sub-race, it should remain compatible with most other mods. For example, the Infinite 500 mod alters many parts of the game mechanics, but it doesn't make edits which affect Adventurers without affecting other characters, so the edits do not conflict. Illim race 1.2.3This addon adds an Illim race, an otherworldly explorers whose native world died from old age before their kind did. Player AI 1.3.1Adds a keybind to activate the new player AI. Set to Alt+F1 by default. This description seems to vanish when I put too much text in it, so view the feature list and changelog on the steam version here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=523638132. Note for Developers: This addon superwrites Player:act(), so if your addon also touches Player:act() change the load order so that the Player AI addon loads last. Alternate Talent Requirements 1.3.1Changes some talent categories to base their stat requirements on your highest stat from a given subset. These talents require the greater of Strength or Dexterity: These talents require the greater of Strength or Magic: These talents require the greater of Strength or Willpower: Encumbrance Bypass 1.3.1Gives you a maximum Encumbrance value of 50000. Nur Kit 1.3.0Makes water-breathing equipment reliably available from various locations:
(License note: This addon uses a modified version of an image by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.) Inventory Sort Order 1.3.0Improves the default sort order of items in the player's inventory. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Merchant on the Map 1.1.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. More Mastery 1.3.1Increases the mastery value increase to 0.4, and removes the 1 increase limit. Unlimited Respec 1.3.1Removes the restriction on how many talents you can respec. Adventurer Plus Addon 1.1.8Simple addon that adds a buffed adventurer class - now with Cursed Aura. Not that it needs it, haha. Edit: I was informed that since the class sets 'default' celestial energies to 20, it gets messed up if you have positive regen for one of them. This is most likely to occur with Liches. Therefore, if you're using them, use the newer version, which removes the default celestial stuff. Unlock Exotic Mastery 1.3.1Are you tired of needing to rescue a Warrior escort before you can train Exotic Mastery? Then this is the addon for you! This addon gives access to the Exotic Weapons Mastery talent by default so it can be trained on any character with Technique/Combat Training. It should be compatible will all other addons. Nyles Level Mod 1.3.1 Stop Hitting Yourself! 1.3.0Gives you a chance of dodging your own arrows or sling shots based on your Danger Sense talent level. Useful for archery-using characters (other than Archers, who are already protected by Shoot Down) against monsters that can pull you to themselves and into the path of your own in-transit missile. QuickTome: Orb of Communication 1.3.1 Myth's Tactical Borders 1.3.1This addon replaces the default tactical borders with a verson that more clearly shows the healthbars while making target identification quick and easy. +++ This addon only works for new characters, unless you edit your save file+++ Instructions for save file editing: Locate your save folder - (Generally in C:\users\*username*) ( The name of you save folder inside your *username* directory is T-Engine ) BACKUP YOUR T-Engine folder TO A SAFE LOCATION - ( You can copy and paste it on your desktop ) Inside your *username* directory, open your T-Engine folder Locate the line that looks like the following: Add inside the { } the following 'myth-minimalist-ui' so that it now looks like: ( Keep in mind the above will look different based on what addons you have installed ) Save your desc.lua and exit the file. Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.3.1Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Faster Hero Levelup 1.0.0Faster adventurer’s adapted to work with the hero addon class. Midnight 1.3.1Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes. Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation. Currently there are nine new categories. It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery. Infinite500 v2.5c: Revised high level play for ToME 1.3.1Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0 This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels. Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options. Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D. NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings. Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops. Traps have been added back to the I.D. Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth. Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted. The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest. The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop. Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree. Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters. This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics: Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229). Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level. CORE CODE CHANGES Engine: TOME Module: Other addons that affect these files might not be compatible. Conveyance Reward 1.3.0This adds the Spell/Conveyance tree as a reward for completing the Tempest Peak questline for Angolwen. All the code is borrowed from DG's own, and thus everything works the same as antimagic characters getting Fungus. Merchant Rerolls 1.3.1This addon adds the ability to 'reroll' a merchant item. More specifically, this allows you to spend 400 gold if you get an item that you don't like, to gain a brand new one. Be warned that once an item is gone, it will forever be gone, and you will never get it back. Tier 5 starting weapons 1.3.1Start with tier 5 weapons (no egos) Following classes are not affected by this addon: - Ashes of Urh'Rok classes and Stone warden - other addon classes - adventurer Note: stat requirements are not removed. You may need 'QuickTome: Remove Stat Requirements' to equip tier 5 weapons. Effigy Race 1.3.1Adds the Effigy race, artificial constructs created to carry the spirits of the dead. This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack! Early Infinite Dungeon 1.3.0Allows you to use the stairs from the Ruined Dungeon to the Infinite Dungeon, even if you haven't completed the campaign. Dream Hammer Tweak 1.3.1Makes Dream Hammer replace melee attacks, stops the game from punishing you for putting points in the 4th talent, and makes the cooldown reduction more reliable. For your pure melee needs. Infinite Dungeon Variety 1.3.1Entirely defunct as of 1.5.0's many Infinite Dungeon changes. -- -- -- - - This addon is fairly simple. In it's current version, it randomly swaps out the grid files (which are the tile-sets/how your map looks) and layouts of every floor. Additionally, floors will steadily get larger (and enemy counts will rise as a result) the deeper you go. NOTES The first floor is always a basic dungeon. QuickTome: Remove Traps 1.3.1 Subrace Pack 1.3.1Adds in some random subraces. Power levels may vary. Witherer Class 1.3.1The Witherer is a Corruptor that focusses on slowly killing their enemies. Hexkin race 1.2.5Adds the Hexkin race. !!!This addon is still a work in progress!!! What's new: Stunt's Tweaks 1.3.1Small tweaks and changes. Current changes: Draconians 1.3.1Adds Draconians as playable race, with their own starting area. This addon was updated and forked by Aura of the Dawn, in the absence of ajfluffy. Second branch, due to upload system differences requring a new shortname. Verdant Class Pack 1.3.1Content is modular and various sections can be disabled via the options.
