| Addons | Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Dark Priest 1.4.8Adds the Dark Priest, a mage subclass. Even in an age of supposed prosperity, there are many who lose their lives in vain. Those who tend the wounded, returned home from battle or adventure, are highly skilled in the arts of healing, many using arcane techniques. But there are some who have seen too much. They have formed a brotherhood of those who have accepted the Dark Truth. Eyal has but one true God, and He demands sacrifices. The Dark Priest and his brethren tap into arcane energies to deliver the bad word unto all the people of Maj'Eyal. They manipulate darkness and life energy to convey their message of doom and despair. When that doesn't work, carrying a big stick helps, too. Dark Priests use Magic and Cunning as their primary stats. They focus on Darkness and Arcane spells, and are proficient in staff combat, as well. They also have command of a unique kind of magic, Unhealing. Unhealing is negative healing and such functions differently than damage. It will not be affected by any type of damage mitigation and will be increased by the target's healing modifier. Adventuring Party 1.5.5Tired of being alone on your adventures? Tired of being an archmage with no one to give that unique battleaxe to? Tired of having no one to use your healing spells on? Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough. -Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties. -!Due to how alchemists are designed, you will not be able to take direct control of their golems if the alchemist is not your main character, but should still function correctly elsewise. For a list of changes, please see the change notes on steam or by reading the int.lua file included in each downloadable version. Possessor Bonus Class 1.5.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Shaman 1.5.10DescriptionThis addon adds the Shaman as a playable class. Shamans are masters of elemental magic attacks, mindpower based summons, or good old fashioned melee weapons. Shamans use both their weapon sets and are encouraged to switch during the battle to adapt to every situation. They start with the Shaman's Path talent, a passive that gives them bonus adapted to their weapon sets of choice. 6 unique class trees (3 locked) : 2 unique generic trees : With the exception of 4 talents, Shaman talents can appear on NPC. DisclaimerThis is my first addon and first coding project, I can promise I tested this addon as best I could, but that does not mean it is without bugs. Please report any bugs you find and I will endeavor to fix them ;) If possible, please take discussions and bugs report to the forum thread I will make. CreditsNefigah for loving the Shaman idea and helping me more than a little with the coding. Chewbacca for testing Shaman maybe more than me. Micbran for correcting my bad english. Rexorcorum for the pretty awesome spirits and totems tiles. Orange because his name is lucky :frog: :robot:. http://game-icons.net/ for all the icons. In advance, whoever tries this out and gives me feedback so I can continue to improve it ! Changelog1.0.8 : - updated bark armor and yeti totem description to fit new crit shrug behavior (main game 1.6 changes) 1.0.7 : - nerfed snake/boar fetishes damage (turns out reapplying DoT so much gives way too big numbers) 1.0.6 : - nerfed bark armor shield at low TL/STR 1.0.5 : - Added an option for legacy spirit tiles due to popular request. Found under Game Options --> Shaman, enabling will display old spirit tiles (need to resummon the spirits) 1.0.4 : - Fixed fetish targeting not working if you aimed beyond their range 1.0.3 : - Elemental Spirits description fixed (was incorrectly stating it used raw levels) 1.0.2 : - Last tiles added, say hello to the new spirits ! 1.0.1 : tiles added for Wyrm totem and Bones totem. Shaman path correctly given to everyone at birth. Updated shaman path description to reflect the scaling. Inferno Race Pack 1.4.0Adds a collection of my races. Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.5.0Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
astralInferno's Celestial Oddities 1.4.0A combination of all my celestial addons; Firmamancer, Primal Chosen, Trench Strider, Radiant, the Empyreal fork, and the newly added Bloodtide Cultist. Arcanum Class Pack 1.5.2Primary Features: Arcanist Features: Elementist Features: Enchanter Features: Archmage Features: Alchemist Features: Embers of Rage 1.5.0Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.5.0Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Doctornull's Class Pack 1.5.10This pack compiles several classes, with an emphasis on hybrid design. Not all classes are complete: the ones which I'm not satisfied with are marked as either INCOMPLETE or "in BETA". The classes included in this pack are: (BETA) Shield Hero is an Adventurer who starts with heavy armor and a shield. Not very exciting unless you were annoyed about not being able to equip your Adventurer's shield right away. (INCOMPLETE) The Flux Marauder is a Paradox thug, stealing time from his enemies. x (Removed): The human-only Embers of Gerlyk are fire-using magical martial artists. Removed pending new content / 1.6 features. Items Vault 1.5.0Donators/Buyers bonus! Verdant Class Pack 1.5.10Content is modular and various sections can be disabled via the options. Primary Features Druid Info Zigur: Categories: Werebeast Info Categories: Woodsman Info Categories: Summoner Info Two new summonable critters and revised summoning categories. New Categories: Wyrmic Info New Categories: Talent changes: Gladiator 1.5.10Adds the Gladiator, a warrior subclass. Gladiators are weapons experts and can wield one-handed weapons in either hand with ease, however they are also proficient with two-handed weapons and shields. Steamshaper Subclass 1.5.3Adds the Steamshaper, a Tinker Subclass. "Powerful psionics are able to enter a gestalt with steam generators and technology to enhance their own mental prowess.", ["steamtech/chemistry"] Golem - The Ironbreaker 1.4.9(Replaces golemancy tree file) More powerful golem, using shield&weapon, and conditioning skills; full armor equippable. Probably, not balanced. Midnight 1.5.0Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes. Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation. Currently there are nine new categories. It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery. New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Stoic class 1.4.0Stoics are warriors who dedicate their lives to mastering countless secret techniques. Stoics are a warrior subclass inspired by the Samurai class from Hengband. They are a melee class with a wide variety of specialized combat techniques, but require judicious use of their unique Focus resource to succeed. Their advanced trees allow them to alter the element of their attacks and grant passive effects as long as the stance is maintained. White Monk 1.5.10Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass. The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers. Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes. Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy. Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself. Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool. Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility. Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks. Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes. Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes. Follow one of the Six Ways with a set of class evolutions for the White Monk: Way of the Rushing Bull Way of the Flying Arrow Way of the Open Palm Way of the Arcane Flow Way of the Transcendent Spirit Way of the Hidden Viper Full details in the forum thread. Infinite500 v3.0b: Revised high level play for ToME 1.5.0Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0 This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels. Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options. Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D. NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings. Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops. Traps have been added back to the I.D. Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth. Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted. The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest. The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop. Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree. Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters. This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics: Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229). Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level. CORE CODE CHANGES Engine: TOME Module: Other addons that affect these files might not be compatible. Necromancy+ 1.3.1Features: Spell/Charnel - class category available to Necromancer only. Tweaked Categories: Spell/Advanced Necrotic Minions Spell/Necrotic Minions Spell/Necrosis Spell/Shades Tweaked the talent levels granted by Blighted Summoning. Also adds in a new class called the Spiritmancer: The dead do not always rest easy, even free from fell influences. Categories: Karma Life Giver Ghosts Dawn Justice Better Item Description 1.5.10This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness Most important thing to remember it's not recommended to use this mod if you'r new to the game Draconians 1.3.1Adds Draconians as playable race, with their own starting area. This addon was updated and forked by Aura of the Dawn, in the absence of ajfluffy. Second branch, due to upload system differences requring a new shortname. Quick Fix for Celestials 1.5.0-- Fixed as of 1.5.1 -- Celestial/Hymns and Celestial/Chants are bugged so that they require 0, 4, 5, 6 previous abilities in that tree. 1.3.0: Chant/Hymn being affected by their relevant category should now be working (with hopefully no side-effects)
-> The chant/hymn's stats are based on whichever has the higher effective level between "Chant/Hymn Acolyte" and the hymn/chant in question.
--> This means that if you're effective level 3.2 (4/5 talent points) in Chant Acolyte and grab a level of an individual chant from an escort, the chant's stats should be based off your effective level 4.0 chant.
---> In the same example, if you grab another level (so you're now 5/5) in Chant Acolyte, you should be able to get effective level 4.8 in that chant (It's not possible to choose the chant if you're already 5/5 in that chant when choosing an escort reward though)
--> For Celestials who start with extra mastery in Chants/Hymns, this means that if you get an extra level in the chant from an escort it may not change the stats at high levels of Chant Acolyte
---> 6/5 chant talent becomes effective level 6 (1.00 mastery). 5/5 Chant Acolyte becomes effective level 6.5 (1.30 mastery). Therefore the extra level doesn't really matter.
----> In this example, the extra level is only really useful at level 3 Chant Acolyte or lower (4.0 vs 3.9)
Small fix to Chant of Fortitude's description function
1.2.1: Previous upload was broken, fixed 1.2.0: Thanks to Felix on the Steam Workshop page for the helpful comment Reverted changes to Chant/Hymn category Fixed display of Chant Acolyte's values 1.1.0: Fixed the Armor Hardiness display in the levelup page to correctly display its true value (15%) Chants and Hymns should now scale with Mastery in their associated talent trees 1.0.0: Base patch, includes the basic fix to Celestial/Chants and Celestial/Hymns trees |

WINNER!
Well done! You have won the Tales of Maj'Eyal: Embers of Rage!
You have thwarted the Steam Giants' genocidal plans, and avenged those killed in the attack on Kruk Pride. Their desperate pact with the High Priest did nothing to stop you; the priest and his god lay dead at your feet, and you have ensured they will stay dead for the foreseeable future.
The humans, elves, and halflings will not be able to hurt your people again. By destroying the farportal and denying King Tolak's army its glorious battle, you have ensured the safety of your people from the Allied Kingdoms, and by storming the Gates of Morning you have eliminated the last bearers of the West's hateful aggression in Var'Eyal.
For now, peace reigns. You know that this will not last forever. You may have repelled its vanguard, but the Kar'Haïb Dominion bides its time waiting for a weakness it can exploit; the smugglers' portals from Maj'Eyal remain undiscovered, and while neither you nor King Tolak has any remaining desire to take the other's continent, the fear of invasion will linger in the backs of your minds. The messages of the Lost City give you cause to remain ever vigilant for the threats they warned of, including their authors, and you wonder what your people will do now that their struggle to escape eradication, one that has defined them for their entire recorded history, has ceased to be a concern.
Regardless... You just killed a god and gave your people the first chance to relax in thousands of years. It's been a pretty good day.
You may continue playing and enjoy the rest of the world. Your soldiers may want to speak with you outside...
