This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds a "scanning" feature that allows you to quickly check the map for commonly queried things, such as character weaknesses, terrain effects, projectile paths, etc...

Fixes the Adept bug by forcibly recalculating all your talent passives when you learn it.

Re-adds various useful 1.5-vintage items that were removed in the 1.6 game release. Currently supports:

• Torques of psychoportation
• Gloves/gauntlets of dispersion

Adds new game option "UI | Scroll hotkeys toolbar with scroll wheel", which can be disabled to prevent the scroll wheel or other scrolling input mechanisms from affecting the hotkeys toolbar.

Modifies the Storming the City quest to change its reward item to a Rod of Dissipation, essentially identical in functionality to the original Rune of Dissipation but not requiring an inscription slot

Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:

• Unopened golden chests, graves and weird pedestals; giant digestive sacks and strange tentacle "trees" from the Forbidden Cults DLC; demon statues from the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC; strange conduits from the Embers of Rage DLC.
• Unopened vaults, including "hidden vault" sub-zones.
• Various quest-related events like Tempest Peak and the Sher'tul farportal.
• Sub-zones like damp caves, intimidating caves, and the temporal rift in Daikara.
• Glyph sequences from the Forbidden Cults DLC, as found on various levels.
• Various non-main-plot zones on the world map, like Ruined Dungeon or Mark of the Spellblaze (configurable), if you have not visited them or killed their associated guardian.

Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes".

Places guaranteed water-breathing equipment in Last Hope's lost merchant store and makes it available via an NPC in Irkkk. In the Embers of Rage DLC, also places similar gear in various stores in Kruk Pride. In the Hammer of Urh'Rok campaign, places water-breathing gear in Lake of Nur.

Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter.

Adds the ability to temporarily seal a naga invasion portal or Fearscape invasion portal, preventing further spawns from the portal but allowing you to unseal and enter it later.

Modifies the display of torques, totems and wands in the hotkeys toolbar, adding a corner image reflecting the charm's type.

Cosmetic pack!

An experimental addon to coordinate and simplify swapping in specified sets of equipment for temporary use and re-wielding your original equipment later.

To use this addon, tag your swap-in items with SET:SetName (for whatever set name); in the "Swap Equipment Sets" dialog (bound to <Alt-Shift-X> by default), they will be listed as the set SetName, and can be wielded from the dialog (taking the normal amount of game time for such an equipment change). Your original equipment will be temporarily tagged with SET:SwapBack, so you can re-wield your original equipment by swapping in the SwapBack set.

Also provides an optional status indicator in the buffs display to remind you when you are wearing equipment from one of your swap-in sets (controlled by game option "Gameplay | Show marker for swapped-in equipment").

A collection of small quality-of life tweaks for tinker-using characters in the Embers of Rage DLC. Notable changes:

• New tinker recipe Regeneration Salve.
• In the Create Tinker dialog, place initial focus in the recipes list for ease of keyboard navigation.
• Expand the descriptions of schematics in tinker stores and recipes in the Create Tinker dialog to include more useful information.
• For characters with both a transmogrification chest and an Automated Portable Extractor, the latter will automatically be used for items that yield ingredients when melted, and the former will be used for the rest for fortress energy (controlled by game options "Gameplay | Multiplexed transmogrification" and "Gameplay | Multiplexed transmogrification minimum tier").
• Schematics for tinkers you've already learned can optionally be listed in a different color in stores and in player inventory for easier distinction (controlled by game option "Gameplay | Highlight learned schematics in stores").
• (new in v1h) Mental stimulator tinkers are altered to confer sleep resistance.

Adds useful items to the game. Currently supported:

• Single-use infusion patches for healing, detrimental effect removal and temporary speed.
• Scrolls of phase door, teleportation and controlled phase door.
• Rods of trap detection and disarming.

[NOTE:   Due to a game bug involving the transmogrification chest and activatable objects, we recommend that users of this addon also use the Activatable Object Cleanup addon.]

Places the entrance to the tinker cave from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) on the world map for all characters in the Age of Ascendancy campaign, without requiring that the character be playing a Tinker class or rescue a tinker escort.

Modifies certain tinker recipes from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) to require a different gem type as ingredient for different tinker tiers, rather than requiring the same gem type for all tiers. Affected recipes:

• Mana Coil: previously required sapphire for all tiers; now requires agate/amethyst/emerald/sapphire/pearl
• Arcane Dynamo: previously required amethyst for all tiers; now requires agate/amethyst/emerald/sapphire/pearl

Modifies and expands the "must be held wth both hands" annotation on two-handed weapons to include one-handed weapons, weapons like daggers that can be wielded in both mainhand or offhand, and equipment like shields worn in the offhand.

Increases the minimum spawn level of Gunsnake from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) from 8 to 15. (In theory, it could still appear at an earlier level depending on out-of-depth checks in zone generation, but the likelihood of that should be significantly reduced.)

Changes the appearance of the entrance to "sub-vaults" in the Orc Prides and High Peak to be different from the stairs down to the next level, to avoid confusion.

 Adds a variety of random youkai that have weird and/or stupid quirks, 

generally pertaining to equipment slots.
Takonyudo (octopode): namesake of the addon. Start with poison unlocked. 4 weapon and 4 offhands, 8 rings, and no armor except helmet.
Hinnagami (vengeful grave soil golem): equip any weapon, armor, or jewelry you like, but the total quantity of items you can equip is limited by level.
Takanyudo (giant): too big to wear any armor or jewelry, but they can wear 5 gloves like little finger hats. Also high life rating and size category.
Mekurabe (pile of skulls): 16 head slots and no other armor. Roll around stealthily as a bunch of heads, then assemble yourself to frighten anyone you stare at.
Kyorinrin (sentient scroll): no armor slots. Gain stats and extra talent levels by picking up lore pieces depending on how long the lore scrap was.
Aoandon (lantern spirit): no armor slots. Gain stats by picking up lore pieces, and walk around with an AoE terror aura that reduces power and saves.

Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately.

Modifies wild infusions and phase door runes to confer separate talents for their primary function and their damage-reduction side effect.

Prevents "tombstones" and "old-battle-field" events from being generated. For those who have no intention of ever digging up a grave and would rather not have them cluttering up their landmarks list or dragging their auto-explore off course.

Arranges for various sequential lore to be learned in sequence, independent of the order of lore object discovery.

Donators/Buyers bonus!

Applies the existing "Gameplay | Swap tinkers" game option when wielding objects in the telekinetic slot via the Telekinetic Grasp talent, so that attached tinkers will (if requested) be transferred automatically from the old telekinetically-wielded item to the new one.

Changes the appearance of the entrance to the Shadow Crypt in the far east to be different from the entrances to the Orc Prides, to avoid entering the wrong zone by mistake.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack improves visibility of status effects by adding particles to certain effect types (such as "dizzy stars" for stuns and confusions, or green bubbles for poisons).
Background: It is otherwise difficult to tell if or when certain effects procced or not, and it is also kind of obnoxious having to check each and every enemy for whether they're affected by something or not.

Prevents escort quests from being generated.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• Why not just turn down the quest when the escort appears?
• You're not supposed to be able to save all the escorts anyway, you know.
• You can still get talents or talent trees from the escorts that don't die.
• Is this addon compatible with Escort Rescheduling?

Modifies the chat dialog for the Fortress Shadow in the Sher'tul fortress, in particular the dialog stage for changing the Fortress Shadow's appearance, adding the option to choose any of the custom tiles available from the character creation dialog. Also papers over a bug in the existing male/female choices, so that the Fortress Shadow will continue to appear properly in the chat dialog with its appearance altered.

NOTE: This class requires access to donator tiles, and thus requires the player to have donator status (including via purchasing the game through Steam).

Adds tinker, steamsaw, steamgun and schematic stores to Last Hope.

Stops npcs going hostile when you accidently hit them with something.

Cosmetic pack!

Optionally modifies the tooltip description of objects that grant talents when worn or carried to include descriptions of the conferred talents.

Adds guaranteed sources of room-lighting to stores in Angolwen and Zigur, including new torques of illumination.

Prevents randbosses from spawning in the Orc Prides.

Adds game options "Gameplay | Auto-rotate auras" and "Gameplay | Auto-rotate shields", which will make an effort to ensure that you have the game maximum of two aura or shield talents from the Psionic/Projection resp. Psionic/Absorption trees active at once. In particular, any time you deactivate/spike one of these talents, or one comes off cooldown, the game will attempt to activate other available related talents, in the order you specify.

Increases the minimum spawn level of the Forest Troll Hedge-Wizard from 3 to 15. (In theory, it could still appear at an earlier level depending on out-of-depth checks in zone generation, but the likelihood of that should be significantly reduced.)

Modifies the use-item dialog, removing the "Use" action for activatable objects in inventory if the object must be worn/wielded to activate it.

For those that prefer Classical ToME4. Removes rare monsters from any area in which they are not forced to spawn.

Adds several new classes and races:
- Bladebender class: Psionic melee fighter that triple-wields daggers and has "meta" talents that can modify other talents.
- Harbinger class: Wilder melee fighter that channels storms through their attacks. More powerful against groups of foes than against single targets. Their class talents do not use resources.
- The Cooler Anorithil class: Revamp of the Anorithil class that must directly alternate between Solar and Lunar talents instead of managing positive/negative energy.
- Zephyr class: Basically a ranged and exclusively lightning-based version of Arcane Blade. Overpowered, not a serious class, and mostly exists to demonstrate instant projectiles.

- Moon Fox race: Race that can radically transform class and generic talents by attaching tails to them.
- Dreamelf race: Overpowered race that can reposition enemies and shorten talent cooldowns.
- Lich race: Undead race that can convert a portion of all their damage into a damage type of their choice.

This addon also makes a couple other changes to make the Zephyr class work:
- Feather Wind is no longer snapshottable, provides less defense but provides both melee and ranged defense, and its maximum encumbrance is no longer spellpower-dependent.

Other than that, the addon tries not to affect existing classes/races/talents. The new classes won't appear on enemies or Adventurers.
