| Game | Tales of Maj'Eyal: Age of Ascendancy 1.5.5 |
| Addons | Fungal Regeneration 1.3.0Modifies the Fungal Growth talent so that its triggered regeneration effect does not block other regeneration effects. NOTE: This addon is officially deprecated as of game version 1.6.0, due to incompatible changes in the Wild-Gift/Fungus tree that render our modifications superfluous.] Infinite500 v3.0b: Revised high level play for ToME 1.5.0Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0 This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels. Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options. Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D. NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings. Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops. Traps have been added back to the I.D. Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth. Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted. The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest. The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop. Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree. Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters. This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics: Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229). Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level. CORE CODE CHANGES Engine: TOME Module: Other addons that affect these files might not be compatible. New Gem Types 1.4.2Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Melinda on the Map 1.1.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. Reflected Golem 1.5.0Modifies the Mirror of Reflection, adding the ability to change your golem's appearance. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Extra Dungeons 1.5.5In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.) Current mod features: Nekarcos's Quality of Life 03: Summoning Timer 1.4.8This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay. Pragmatic Heroism 1.4.0Modifies the life bar to show useful information when the player is below zero life. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. EquipDoll - Clean Item Names 1.5.5Makes clearer view of EuipDoll by replacing item egos list with actual name, and tuning a font a bit Actually Useful Artifact Steamguns 1.3.0Increase the range of artifact steamguns to at least the range of an ordinary steamgun of the same tier. Frequently Asked Questions: Daze Tweak 1.5.5This addon will add a low-end threshold to damage values which will break the Daze effect equal to 5 + actor-level/2. This should prevent minor sources of damage from disrupting the effect, with the intent of improving the effectiveness of the status. Credit to ghostbuster for the idea and suggesting the scaling for the threshold. Convenient Digging 1.5.5 Cloak Reminder 1.3.0Pops up a reminder if your undead character changes zones or uses the Rod of Recall while not wearing the Cloak of Deception. Frequently Asked Questions: Arcane Combat Tweaks 1.5.0Tweaks to the Arcane Command configuration dialog. Notable features:
Enhanced Object Compare 1.5.0Improves the "Press
Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Eternal Darkness 1.5.0Adds many new spells for Necromancer and modifies many existing spells, effects and minions. See thread for full details. Prodigious Progress 1.3.0Include information in certain prodigies' requirement descriptions about how much progress you've made thereto. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Steam Civilian Massacre 1.1.5Creates an event where you can invade a civilian shelter of steam giants, for fun and profit. Quick Fix for Celestials 1.5.0-- Fixed as of 1.5.1 -- Celestial/Hymns and Celestial/Chants are bugged so that they require 0, 4, 5, 6 previous abilities in that tree. 1.3.0: Chant/Hymn being affected by their relevant category should now be working (with hopefully no side-effects)
-> The chant/hymn's stats are based on whichever has the higher effective level between "Chant/Hymn Acolyte" and the hymn/chant in question.
--> This means that if you're effective level 3.2 (4/5 talent points) in Chant Acolyte and grab a level of an individual chant from an escort, the chant's stats should be based off your effective level 4.0 chant.
---> In the same example, if you grab another level (so you're now 5/5) in Chant Acolyte, you should be able to get effective level 4.8 in that chant (It's not possible to choose the chant if you're already 5/5 in that chant when choosing an escort reward though)
--> For Celestials who start with extra mastery in Chants/Hymns, this means that if you get an extra level in the chant from an escort it may not change the stats at high levels of Chant Acolyte
---> 6/5 chant talent becomes effective level 6 (1.00 mastery). 5/5 Chant Acolyte becomes effective level 6.5 (1.30 mastery). Therefore the extra level doesn't really matter.
----> In this example, the extra level is only really useful at level 3 Chant Acolyte or lower (4.0 vs 3.9)
Small fix to Chant of Fortitude's description function
1.2.1: Previous upload was broken, fixed 1.2.0: Thanks to Felix on the Steam Workshop page for the helpful comment Reverted changes to Chant/Hymn category Fixed display of Chant Acolyte's values 1.1.0: Fixed the Armor Hardiness display in the levelup page to correctly display its true value (15%) Chants and Hymns should now scale with Mastery in their associated talent trees 1.0.0: Base patch, includes the basic fix to Celestial/Chants and Celestial/Hymns trees Opt-in Adventurers Parties 1.1.0Presents a dialog when you attack or are attacked by an adventurers party or hostile ziguranth patrol on the world map, prompting you to either evade or fight. The behavior of this dialog can be controlled by the "Adventurers party response strategy" options under Game Options in the <Esc> menu, allowing you to specify "always evade" or "never evade" as the default behavior. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. ¹ Disclaimer: This functionality is actually already present in the main module, if the right subsection of the dialog is focused; we merely arrange for said subsection to have focus when the dialog is initially created and displayed, so that letter selection works without further user action. Allow Respec Anywhere 1.2.3Merchant on the Map 1.1.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Possessor Bonus Class 1.5.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Temporal Warden Tweaks 1.5.0Assorted quality-of-life tweaks for Temporal Wardens. If you know at least one talent in the Chronomancy/Blade Threading or Chronomancy/Bow Threading trees, then:
More Taints 1.3.0Power comes at a price, but the price is worth paying... This addon adds more Taints to the game. Taints are Inscriptions powered by corrupt forces. As such, they are arcane so Oozemancers and other Zigur Zealots need not apply. Taintmarks are listed on your character sheet under stats. Current Taints are only a little more rare than normal inscriptions. In v1 they will be much rarer but certain bosses will have a guaranteed Taint drop. List of Taints: nsrr's Exotic Weapons 1.4.8 Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Utility Supplies 1.3.0Adds useful items to the game. Currently supported:
[NOTE: Due to a game bug involving the transmogrification chest and activatable objects, we recommend that users of this addon also use the Activatable Object Cleanup addon.] Charsheet Talents Improvement 1.2.3Improves the charsheet talents listing. Note: might be be implemented by next patch Item Notes 1.3.0Allows you to add notes to objects in your inventory or equipment which will be displayed in the object's description tooltip. Notes can be manipulated by selecting the "Add note", "Edit note" or "Remove note" entry in the object's use-item dialog. Differences between item notes and the game's built-in tagging functionality:
Items with notes will be shown in inventory lists with a purple '!' prefix. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Embers of Rage 1.5.0Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
NPC Forgiveness 2.5 1.5.0This addon adjusts the way friendly NPC's react to hostile actions by the player. In most cases, the personal reaction of an NPC to the player (friendly/neutral/hostile) will slowly recover (by 10% each turn, minimum 1 point) back to it's default value over time. If the player doesn't further aggravate the NPC, it will eventually become neutral/friendly again. (Though it will still probably have the player targeted, depending on its ai settings which are not addressed in this addon.) The exception is if the player kills another friendly NPC within LOS, which will result in the NPC becoming permanently hostile to the player in most cases. Putting a detrimental status effect on the NPC will create a -25 (negative) reaction to the player (in addition to the penalties from any damage caused). Files affected: FlexSpec Respec Limitation Relaxer 1.5.5Myth's Minimalist UI 1.3.1This addon changes several user interface elements to provide a more open and cleaner overall appearance.
+++ This addon only works for new characters, unless you edit your save file+++ Instructions for save file editing: Locate your save folder - (Generally in C:\users\*username*) ( The name of you save folder inside your *username* directory is T-Engine ) BACKUP YOUR T-Engine folder TO A SAFE LOCATION - ( You can copy and paste it on your desktop ) Inside your *username* directory, open your T-Engine folder Locate the line that looks like the following: Add inside the { } the following 'myth-minimalist-ui' so that it now looks like: ( Keep in mind the above will look different based on what addons you have installed ) Save your desc.lua and exit the file. Ghouls Dont Breathe 1.3.1This belt removes breathing because it makes you undead but ghouls still breathe?! Howgash! GHOULS DONT BREATHE!! Items Vault 1.5.0Donators/Buyers bonus! Interface::boost 1.2.5This addon fixes several UI issues. Post Effects fixes 1.5.5The addon improves gamefield view during different post effects Here is details about what been changed: Expanded Shop Inventory 1.3.0Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Bone Shield Tweak 1.5.5 Anguished 1.4.8Adds the Anguished Class with 7 new talent trees and a new elf race; the Soulless. More info on the forums. Also, the file size is really large because Zerru gave me icons that were 512x512. And I'm too lazy to scale them down. Infinite Dungeon Variety 1.3.1Entirely defunct as of 1.5.0's many Infinite Dungeon changes. -- -- -- - - This addon is fairly simple. In it's current version, it randomly swaps out the grid files (which are the tile-sets/how your map looks) and layouts of every floor. Additionally, floors will steadily get larger (and enemy counts will rise as a result) the deeper you go. NOTES The first floor is always a basic dungeon. Minstrel 1.5.5Adds the Minstrel, a lightly armored duelist who uses the power of song to bolster strength and incapacitate foes. Implements 20 new abilities split across 5 ability trees and 2 additional artifacts (which form a set). This is my first mod for ToME4, so if you encounter any bugs or balance issues, feel free to let me know! The source code is available here: https://github.com/ArtixBot/tome4-minstrel Adventuring Party 1.5.5Tired of being alone on your adventures? Tired of being an archmage with no one to give that unique battleaxe to? Tired of having no one to use your healing spells on? Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough. -Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties. -!Due to how alchemists are designed, you will not be able to take direct control of their golems if the alchemist is not your main character, but should still function correctly elsewise. For a list of changes, please see the change notes on steam or by reading the int.lua file included in each downloadable version. Inventory Sort Order 1.3.0Improves the default sort order of items in the player's inventory. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.5.0Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
Golem - The Ironbreaker 1.4.9(Replaces golemancy tree file) More powerful golem, using shield&weapon, and conditioning skills; full armor equippable. Probably, not balanced. Enhanced Wield Replace 1.3.0Allows you to choose which item to replace when wielding/wearing equipment if there are multiple possibilities. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. NOTE: If you are using this addon in conjunction with Enhanced Object Compare (directly or via ZOmnibus), be sure to update said addon(s) to at least the 2015-05-16 release (v3b for Enhanced Object Compare, v13d for ZOmnibus), as older versions will have minor interaction problems with this addon. Nekarcos's Quality of Life 04: Healing Reduction 1.4.8This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay. |
