About Gnomes:

Gnomes are distant relatives of Halflings, albeit a tad smaller in stature and much weaker physique. In the world of Maj_Eyal, not much is known about them for simple reasons: they usually don't leave home to go on adventures, much less to take part in heroic endeavours. People commonly mistake Gnomes for extraordinary small and malformed Halflings, even if that is far from being the truth. The existence of Gnomes as a proper subspecies has passed history unnoticed for centuries, while they lived peacefully, silent and hidden within Halfling society, dedicating their lives to the study of the physical, magical and historical dimensions of Maj'Eyal.

In theory, however, gnomes make great adventurers. While they lack any of those physical attributes, that are commonly associated with a lifestyle dedicated to performing heroic deeds, they got the ability to gain advanced knowledge about almost anything related to skillful adventuring. They start their career with two instead of just one racial talent trees and are able to learn new talent types not available to their choosen class. As a result, they make for very flexible game play, but they are challenged by a low life-rating.

Gnomes now offer a truly experimental game experience. Gnomes get two racial trees:

- one tree allows them to learn just about any talents associated to different meta themes (they can learn one type each of these groups: technique/cunning, spell/celestial/chronomancy, psionic/wild-gifts, cursed/corruption).

- the other tree provides general offensive and defensive benefits as well as resource (stamina, mana, psi, equilibrium) regeneration.

As a result, playing as a gnome makes it possible to spice up just about any class with new talent combinations normaly only experienced when playing the Adventurer class.

Additonaly, gnomes still start with their Gnomish Pocket Encyclopedia - an item, which at level 30 allows them to pick one further talent type from about just any category (excluding stone wardens talents).

This adds new weapon types and egos to the game.

- Tridents are unchanged, but generate more often.
- Whips can now generate normally, and their accuracy bonus now slows the target.
- Swordbreakers are weak knives that have a chance to disarm on hit, and give bonuses to dual weapon defense.
- Rapiers are 1h weapons that use dagger mastery and rely on strength, dexterity, and cunning.
- Bucklers are light shields that can greatly increase your defense and give you faster attacks against those who miss you in melee.
- Buckler offense tree at varying levels of access for 5 or so classes. Skirmishers start with a buckler.
- Spears/Greatspears are slow weapons that can attack from a distance.

- Daggers will now use the higher of strength or cunning if you don't have Lethality.
- Mindslayers can now equip ranged weapons in their psionic focus slot.
- Aurastones are magic-based items that can be equipped to modify your unarmed attacks.
- Magic Weapon Mastery applies to staves, aurastones, and sceptres, and can be learned in Angolwen.

Most of the stuff here can be individually turned on/off in the Game Options menu. So you could use this addon just for the extra tridents if you really wanted to.

Walk the path of a true vampire lord !

Feast upon your prey, thus increasing your blood pool, drag their corps in you shadow, later you can extract blood from those, event get stats and talent points from them.

blood pool: a resource that add to life, as long as you have blood in your blood pool damage dealt to you will apply on your blood pool instead of your life.

sanguinism talent tree

- Feast:
Feast upon target's blood dealing a percentage of damage draining his blood out.
If the target dies, a percentage of his max heal will be added to your max blood pool.
Plus his corps will be added to your corps pool.
The maximum amount of creature you caan store in your corps pool is 80
The damage dealt increase based on talent level and the higest stat. strengh or willpower
the pencentages increase with the talent level.

- Empowerment:
Increases the bonuses for having blood in your pool
damage, defence, spellpower and mindpower increase if you have blood remainig incrase with talent level.

- Exsanguation:
Drain the blood from a feasted corps
drain a percentage of corps max heal.
Plus at level 5: each row of 10 creature exsangued grant a stat point
each row of 25 creature exsangued grant either a talent or generic point
each row of 200 creature exsangued grant a category point
percentage restored increase with talent level

- Blood Bound:
when you die, if there is more than x creature remaining
in your crops pool, they will be consumed (form the top creature available)
restoring a percentage of your heal and blood.

sadism talent tree:

-tribute: pay a percentage of your max health to inflict to the target damage based on his max health.

-stupeffy: pay a percentage of your max health to cause an aoe that hav a chance to inflict fear to all creature in it plus minorely damaging them.

-blood river: pay a percentage of your max blood to cause a large blight aoe that heal you of a percentage of the damage inflicted with it.

This addon allows players to adjust the amount of exp they gain per kill via Game Options.

The current allowable range is 0% - 1000%, with 100% being the default rate. The range can be expanded if there's demand for it.

The adjustment rate will be set to the default of 100% for each new character made, and once set will remain persistent for that specific character.

Also, the level cap on gaining exp from lower leveled opponents has been removed for increased flexibility.

Adds generalist classes, which gain all talent trees within a meta-class.

This pack compiles several classes, with an emphasis on hybrid design. Not all classes are complete: the ones which I'm not satisfied with are marked as either INCOMPLETE or "in BETA".

The classes included in this pack are:
- The Transcendent Fist is an unarmed Psionic warrior, using a gem in his TK slot to hit with flexible energy types.
- The Storm Warden is a melee-and-ranged skirmisher with magical mobility and support spells.
- The Striker is a cunning and covert class, with a focus on delivering shock-and-awe thunderbolts from stealth.
- The Gravitic Infantry is a melee-focused Chronomancy user (formerly named the Heavy).

(BETA) Shield Hero is an Adventurer who starts with heavy armor and a shield. Not very exciting unless you were annoyed about not being able to equip your Adventurer's shield right away.
(BETA) Prototype Hero is an Adventurer who starts with 1.3 mastery in every category. Not very useful for players, but it might be interesting for addon writers to spitball new category combinations.

Adds a new race choice (Kobold) which leads to two new subraces.

Kobolds are small humanoid-like people, who inhabit the Thaloren forests and spend their lives among other rarely sighted legendary creatures, like woodland spirits and fairies. Inside the taxonomic family of Kobolds two different genera are known to exist: a common variant, simply called the Kobold, and the much rarer Gremlin. Their most notable feature is a set of supernatural sharp and strong teeth. According to some myths, Kobolds rely on it to feed on metals and gems, which isn't quite accurate however. Still, their poisonous bite is a dreaded weapon and Kobolds commonly fall back on it to defend their life or while hunting for food.

A. The common Kobold:
He is very agile, stealthy and quick. As he grows more experienced, a Kobold develops means to raise his quickness to an extraordinarily magnitude. He disposes over a deadly, poisonous bite and is very resilient to poison himself, granting a resistance bonus of 25% to poisons of all forms. Due to their agility and quickness, Kobolds make very formidable warriors or rogues, that don't have to shy competition with members of the taller races.

B. The Gremlin:
Gremlins are very emotional by nature and often victims to a sudden change of mood, which can lead to an outburst of extreme aggressive or depressive behaviour. Racial abilities of gremlins are tied to different moods. Experienced gremlins can find ways to control their mood and harness it to gain specific situational advantages, which at the same time, however, are balanced by certain disadvantages. While under the influence of a mood, Gremlins have an affinity to either of the spheres of Light, Darkness, Blight or Nature, and gain certain bonuses and penalties, that are related to their affinity.

Adds a new character class to the game: The Randventurer! Randventurers are similar to Adventurers, they can get any talent tree - except they don't get to pick which ones! At character creation they are given many semi-random talent trees, selected so that (hopefully) every character is playable and viable. Any talent tree that can be learned in the game has a chance of appearing on your character. To keep characters playable, randventurer does several things: Prevents conflicting weapon styles, Limits the number of stats used, Makes sure any requirements are met, Ensures any resources the character has are usable and many other small things. Most addons will work normally and have the talents chosen as part of the random character creation. The following addons have full support:

This addon adds an Illim race, an otherworldly explorers whose native world died from old age before their kind did.

Presents a dialog when you attack or are attacked by an adventurers party or hostile ziguranth patrol on the world map, prompting you to either evade or fight.  The behavior of this dialog can be controlled by the "Adventurers party response strategy" options under Game Options in the <Esc> menu, allowing you to specify "always evade" or "never evade" as the default behavior.

Adds a new Psionic class (since their numbers are few anyways) that is a combo of rouge, solipsist and mindslayer. Focus more on combat than staying in the back, but still has the capability to do so.

Adds a new wilder class with the abilities of a oozemancer and mindslayer. More focused on defense.

Mark sustained talents for easy reactivation after being disrupted by an enemy attack. From the Restart Sustains dialog (bound to <alt-shift-s> by default), you can select sustains to be restarted, arranging them in tree order as needed to ensure that certain sustains are activated before others. In addition, if any of these selected sustains is forcibly deactivated by an attacker, you will be notified with a log message and a noticeable particle effect.

Do you dislike it, when your escortees die on harder difficulties at the zone in, without you being able to help them? Do you sometimes feel as if money was worth little to nothing in Maj'Eyal? If so, this addon might help you. The library of Last Hope now sells seven Tomes with on-use-rewards, that mirror those of seven escort-types. The library of Elvala sells two (very expensive) tomes, that lead to even greater rewards after using them.

Fixed: talent types are now known, but not learned

Adds in a new Undead race, Ghost. Ghosts have a life rating lower than that of yeeks, but ghosts make up for this by sharing damage with their mana pool.
Being a ghost gives them access to certain categories, Ghosts can gain the following categories; Aegis, Cursed-Aura, Gloom, and Fears.

For those who think the Homosuperior race by gkjzhgffjh is not easy enough.

- This addon introduces a new variant of vault, the bazaar, where you don't fight for items, but rather buy (or steal) them.

- A central aspect of this addon is a new questline (consisting of 3 follow-up-quests), which introduces the player to the bazaar-system. The questline starts in the Village of Elvala (look out for a special npc - he will lookout for you as well).

- I took the idea to this addon from starsapphire (Idea : Markets in dungeons! - http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=42553)

------ Details: ------

(1) Bazaars can appear in most dungeons and outdoor zones, which happen to also generate vaults; chances for regular vault-generation aren't being limited. Bazaars won't appear in the East however - tradesmen haven't made it there yet.

(2) Each bazaar contains a shopkeeper and a limited amount of items, which can't be pickuped by normal means (they are chained to the ground). Instead, you either have to pay to be able to pick up such an item - or you try to unchain it (success chances scale with cunning, dexterity and talent points in Heightened Senses and Stealth). Failure to unchain it will trigger a trap which teleports the player (and his party) to a parallel zone ("Mirrorscape").

--> To escape from the Mirrorscape, a special guardian needs to be killed. Alternatively, there are two hidden exit points. The Power of the Guardian scales extremely with the Base-Level of the Zone (Break-Points: Level 20, 30, 50, 70) and the item-quality the trap is based on (unique items are protected by stronger guardians). Killing the guardian allows the player to pick up the item in question.

--> Killing the shopkeeper unchains all item in his shop. Shopkeepers are extremely strong, however.

(3) Additionally, each shopkeeper has a rare ingredient for sale, and some of them also sell maps, which point to special treasure areas in a variety of zones. To find out about these special goods, chat with the vendor. (Again, treasuremaps point only to zones in the West.)

(4)In Elvala starts a questline, which leads to the discovery of a new zone, The Bazaar. Follow-up quests then introduce more in depth to the bazaar system.

(5) Most bazaar-vaults will also be generated inside the Infinite Dungeon - most Treasuremaps also work here.

(6) From time to time, a caravan will spawn on the overworld map. Encountering a caravan is similar to an "Ambush", however without meeting hostile npcs - instead, two shopkeepers will offer their items.

A warning: you are trapped inside the mirrorscape until you defeat its guardian or find the exit

Warlocks are masters of the demonic arts. Clothed in cloth, they excel in using curses, firing bolts of fire or shadow, and summoning demons to help them in combat. Warlocks, while being excellent spell casters, also excel in providing quirky buffs and utility.

A warlock has very powerful abilities that, if used correctly, make them a very formidable opponent. Using their curses in combination with direct damage spells and fears, Warlocks wreak havoc and destruction.

The class is in an alpha stage but is playable.

Alright, so this is two parts. A new zone, and a new class that you unlock by finishing said zone.
You should get an in-game item that explains some things.

Illusory Wood
You'll find this place a couple spaces east of Zigur. Minimum suggested level is 18.
Complete the quest inside and you'll unlock the Trickster class.

Trickster
A psionic rogue.
- Use illusory walls and decoys to distract your enemies.
- A wide variety of debuffs that confuse and distract your foes.
- Turn enemies' confusion into your own power.
- Convince your enemies that they don't see you, even as you stand in plain sight.
- Stabbing things.
The basic idea is that you throw out illusions everywhere to cover you while you stab things to death.

Adds Trolls as a player race(two subraces), reworks NPCs a bit.

Adds a dwarven subrace of ancestral worshippers. Racial talents center around healing and are helpful in surviving the early stages on higher difficulty modes, but lack an offensive punch.

Adds in the Intense, Brutal, and Chaos difficulties, stepping stones between the vanilla difficulties, and additionally grants free stat bonuses based on difficulty level.

If you side with the Assassin Lord, a new zone will open up. This will be triggered the same way the Assassin Lord quest is, starting at player level 15.

Once you've cleared this area, you can come back for access to the merchant services you would've gotten if you had saved the merchant - at a substantial markup over normal cost.

Brief Summary: This currently adds one new raceclass to the game - the Jadir, an earth elemental. They're very tanky and have a lot of wall manipulation talents. See the original thread for more details.

This addon adds in a Faerie, or Fey, race into ToME. This addon was originally created by Kaballah, but he hasn't been online in over a year.
Instead of letting it die (I mean, how could we not be able to play as a Faerie?) I decided to fork it over into a playable form.
I've taken it, modified it's values, and changed it's 4th talent.

The Fey are an incredibly quick and agile race, however they are incredibly fragile.
You will have to make use of their blinding speed to survive encounters.
If you find yourself in trouble, you can spray some Fey Dust onto nearby enemies while you escape.

Dark Faeries are Faeries that have given up much of their natural agility and defense in exchange for bonus offensive potency.
They are extremely frail, even more so than their more agile counterparts, but make up for it with faster offense, higher damage, and many different tricks.
Despite all thoughts otherwise, they are still, mostly, a playful bunch to be around, if not a bit more painful in their method of invitation.

--The Dark Fey have given up some of their natural luckiness, but not all.
--Grants Luck and Saves
--Upon dealing damage, you summon a clone of yourself for a few turns.
--Has your entire talent list, deals 50% damage, and has 10% of your max life.

-Vision of the Shadows
--Active
--The Dark Faerie has lost it's ability to flee, and has been forced to find other methods of survival, in the form of dark magics.
--This talent shows all enemies within a moderate to large radius around yourself.
--Calls forth 3 shadows onto nearby enemies that are in sight.
--Shadows are extremely weak, but make for decent body-blockers.
--Vision Radius, Vision Duration, and Number of Shadow Targets increases with talent level.

-Feyd to Black
--Active
--Call forth the powers of darkness to overflow the battlefield, affecting all Actors in sight range.
--Increase all allies life by a percent of their Max Life. (Including yourself.)
--Decreases all foes life by a percent of their Max Life.
--Blind all foes, even those who cannot normally be blinded.
--This effect's power increases as your life decreases.
--This talent does not proc healing effects, and cannot lower enemies below 10% of their max health.

Power comes at a price, but the price is worth paying...

This addon adds more Taints to the game.

Taints are Inscriptions powered by corrupt forces. As such, they are arcane so Oozemancers and other Zigur Zealots need not apply.
They do not get egos for scaling, instead they scale on a new stat called Taintmarks.
Taintmarks are a measure of how tainted by corrupted forces you are.
Each Taintmark increases the power and duration of Taints by 20%, but decrease you luck by 1 and increase the cooldown on nature gifts by 1.
Taintmarks are gained in many ways:
Each inscribed Taint grants a Taintmark.
Possessing a corrupt power source like Vim or Hate grants a Taintmark.
Being Undead, becoming Undead or changing your shape grants a Taintmark.
Giving in to your Hate grants a Taintmark.
Having Dark Ritual, Ruin or Blurred Mortality grant a Taintmark.
Having Blighted Summoning, Corrupted Shell, Bloodspring or Legacy of the Naloren grant a Taintmark.

Taintmarks are listed on your character sheet under stats.

Current Taints are only a little more rare than normal inscriptions. In v1 they will be much rarer but certain bosses will have a guaranteed Taint drop.

List of Taints:
Devourer: As before but also eats on of your own sustains for more healing.
Telepathy: As before but both effects have the same duration.
Darkness: Darkens the area, grants a temporary stealth boost and makes you activate stealth mode (even if you don't have it), but decreases your darkness resistance.
Vampire: Adds Life Leech chance and amount, but decreases your light resistance.
Blood Magic: Increases your Spellpower and lets you cast with life instead of mana/vim when needed, but decreases your physical save.
Reaper: Increases you physical power and restores resources on kills, but decreases your spell save.
Inversion: Grants damage affinity all, but changes some of your damage to healing.
Shade: Allows you to walk through walls and grants evasion, but reduces your healing.
Ghoulish Rot: Your hits apply Ghoulish Rot disease but your movement speed is decreased. Also blocks hits from being above a certain amount.
Banshee: Scream doing mind damage and causing confusion in nearby enemies, but silences you.
Bone Thorns: Sharp thorns sprout from your bones causing heavy bleeding damage to enemy attackers, but also causes you to bleed. Also increases armour and hardiness.
Blood Snare: Hurl a blood bomb at the target where it explodes, doing blight damage and pinning enemies. This blood bomb is made from your own blood.
Acceleration: Reduces cooldowns, but then they are on cooldown for longer when used.
Exchange: Removes debuffs from you then inflicts you with another random debuff.

Adds a store in Last Hope selling lanterns and pickaxes, several additional stores to improve gear diversity, and improves the quality of infusion and rune stores.

Adds a new class that's focus is raising defense and dual weapons. And the name contains a pun.

A Mauler is a warrior that wields dual one handed weapons.

Bite-Sized Update:
Replace some enemies with powerful Randbosses. Enemies of a Unique rank or higher, who are given random class talents.
Every rank of enemies has their own tier of loot.
As you level up, you'll see more of these buggers walking around.

You spawn at level 12, and can level up to a maximum of 200.

Increase your rank as you slay your foes.

You can see your kill counts and your rank experience in the quest log.

Adds the Barbarian class to the Wilder sub-group.

Content is modular and various sections can be disabled via the options.

Primary Features
Druid class:
Uncast spells to produce nature based magical effects.
Its an agile nature mage, but can be played as a fighter/mage hybrid, or as a summoner hybrid.
Uses staves, alchemist gems and equilibrium.
Werebeast Class:
Werebeast fits somewhere between Cursed and Wyrmic, with a touch of Rogue thrown in.
Flavour is you have been cursed by nature's hate at those who harm it.
Can be played with conventional weapons or dual mindstars, stealthy or heavy.
Uses both Hate and Equilibrium.
Woodsman Class:
Archery, Summoning and Traps.
Use whatever you need to survive.
Summoner:
A full rework is available.
Allows you to command your critters to attack or defend.
Wyrmic:
A few talents improved and many new categories.
General:
Loads of nature based artifacts.
A few of new inscriptions.
Oozemancer can get the Wild-gift/Symbiant category.

Druid Info

Zigur:
As Druid's use spells they cannot become a Zigur follower, as this would make all their talents unusable.
However, you can still attempt to join Zigur, you might get something special instead.
