What's the story with breeding pits?
What was wrong about it?
Im glad to see frequent updates. I would be happiest person in the world, if we could get more classes to unlock ! :)
This is very strange... I love the Faerie race too, and I have never had any problems with the starting area. Mind you, I've only been a Faerie Archmage, so I don't have your experience.
Have you tried posting this question on the appropriate forum thread?

Glad to see another Faerie!
Be aware that checking the "show previous" box will display your old character save files. Sometimes, things blow up, but more often, you can simply continue playing with the old character on the new version just fine.
What you talkin' 'bout, Willis? Er, jaccarmac? There is a Mac build on Steam. Works great. Auto-update via Steam works, too, but I highly advise turning it off for this game. Just lost a pretty good mid-level Stone Warden to the 1.1.4 upgrade. Ah, well. Live and learn.
Ooh, thankies for responding and stuff. c.c
I was trying to more Rush'n'stab technique more then any thing with the bleeds and such for bosses and things that doesn't die in one hit with using the stealth tree, in theroy, as an escape tactic as well as a stab every thing mechanisim with mutliuse.
I also assumed that maxing every thing in the stealth tree would increase stealth effectiveness on every thing, in general, and would give a bigger payoff then flurry in the long term scheme of things.
May be immediately obivous I prefer/play ranged classes generaly and am unsure onf certian game mechanics, still, despite playing as logn as I have.
I should have noticed most of the biggest mistakes I was making without someone needing to point them out. ><
Thanks so much, DarkGod! I'd love a Mac build on Steam, though... Not that you hear that already :-).
I'm not an expert on rogues - I've made it to the Dreadfells once or twice on adventurer mode, but that's it - but here's my advice.
You don't have any escape mechanism. A teleport rune, movement infusion, or torque of psychoportation lets you get out of a bad spot before you die.
Some more attention to durability - boosting your Con, putting points in Thick Skin and Guardian of the Wood - would help. I'm not sure that Lacerating Strikes and Scoundrel's Strategies are worth it; I generally play rogues to kill everything really fast, with talents like Flurry and Shadowstrike, rather than bleed them out and debuff them.
Flurry + Dual Weapon Training can do crazy high damage. (Just watch out for enemies with damage-on-hit effects, since you'll take the damage 6 times.) The Stealth tree can be very, very nice (with the caveat that Hide in Plain Sight may not be worth 5 points), but it takes a lot of investment to pay off, while Flurry starts doing considerable damage at level 4 when you first get it.
You can get more advice (and advice from better players than I) over at http://forums.te4.org/.
Heyo, glad to see these are fixed!
If I forgot you, please speak up, I may have missed one :)
Congrats ! An important step!
I was playing a Cornac Barbarian, doing pretty well. Then, I decided to go antimagic, so I did the zigur arena thing. All was well, until the orc corruptor, who I could not damage even after destroying every bone of the shield. No idea why this would cause issues with bone shield, but it did.
I suggest summary executions. That always gets lazy minions' attention.
Whip 'em good!
Psion is a (possibly never to be implemented) tree for the Possessor class(if that ever comes to exist).
As usual with not-fully-implemented DarkGod features, you're better off not trying to use them, and you basically use 'em at your own risk. I'm not sure how it works, honestly.
Checking through the class list after I installed this, I noticed that it added a new one: psion, with the only description for it being "blahblah". I tried it out, and foud that it only has one talent tree, possession, which lets me control monsters, but none of the skills have any kind of description to tell me what they do. Can anyone else who has found this tell me how it works? Or how to set it up so Adventurer can take the tree so I can stop dying less?
Yep, that's exactly what happened. I'd never been there before and spent most of the countdown happily killing orcs coming from the north, thinking it was some kind of tower defence level ;)
... So yeah my sympathies.
If you don't successfully make it down the charred scar (?) level then you have to end it by sacrificing yourself. If you do, then you can continue to live.
In good news, it looks like at least the achieves/unlocks saved online. I unlocked adventurer and necromancer that run (also redheads), and the selfless achievement is showing.
It being my first one, I'm honestly not sure; I was given the choice of being the sacrifice required to close the portal, or let the person with me be the sacrifice. I buggered up the race to stop the orcs earlier, which is why it was open, I suspect.
That happened to me once. I didn't realize I wasn't online until after I'd gotten smushed by Atamathon.
Can you explane me about ways of winning? I always (only two times, to be honest :) ) did it simply by killing two Sorcerors without any messing with portals, but from available achievements I know that there are some other ways...
They're not, sadly, I went for the noble self-sacrifice ending.
Oh, and thanks :)
If your char is still alive jsut log on it again and save, it should update.
Oh and congrats ! :)
I know its too late now, as you died, but couldn't you have used the Rod of Recall to get out without the need for an exit?
