What this page is
This attempts to list the unlockables but with more vague and less specific details. This is for those who desire less spoilers and would like to try and figure out some bits themselves. It isn't entirely spoiler-free as the names of the races/classes are listed but the specific details have been muddied up a bit.
Races
- Undead (Skeletons and Ghouls)
- Work your way through the main storyline.
- Yeek
- Rescue a Yeek.
- Doomelf (Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC)
- Kill three specific randomly-occurring unique demons with the same character.
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Ogre
- Find someone in one of the dungeons who will start the path to this unlock. 30% chance to find him, 100% as Shalore.
Classes
- Adventurer (bonus class)
- Work your way through the main storyline.
- Anorithil (Celestial meta class)
- Work your way through the main storyline.
- Archmage (Mage meta class)
- Help out someone in need.
- Brawler (Warrior meta class)
- Bet on a wrestling match
- Corruptor (Corruptor meta class)
- Bargain with a Corruptor
- Cursed (Afflicted meta class)
- Slay a unique Cursed.
- Demonologist (Defiler meta class) (Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC)
- Play a Doombringer or Doomelf for a while.
- Doomed (Afflicted meta class)
- Find a resting place for shadows and face your own shade.
- Marauder (Rogue meta class)
- Land a mighty blow as a Rogue or Shadowblade.
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Mindslayer (Psionic meta class)
- Rescue a Yeek, as a Yeek
- Necromancer (Mage meta class)
- Collect necromantic lore, and then confront a rival.
- Oozemancer (Wilder meta class)
- Survive an ooze-filled dungeon and slay the boss. 30% chance to find it, 100% for Thalore.
- Paradox Mage (Chronomancer meta class)
- Play a warden. In a place of disturbed time, surrender to a paradox
- Reaver (Corruptor meta class)
- Just keep playing ToME -- This one is gameplay, not story)
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Skirmisher (Rogue meta class)
- Do something specific related to both things this class is known for: shields and ranged.
- Solipsist (Psionic meta class)
- Give in to noxious fumes and overcome your dreams. 30% chance to find, 100% for Yeek.
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Stone Warden (Wilder meta class)
- Summoner (Wilder meta class)
- Witness a summoning, no place in particular
- Sun Paladin (Celestial meta class)
- Rescue a paladin
- Temporal Warden (Chronomancer meta class)
- Assist the Wardens
- Wyrmic (Wilder meta class)
- Eat a reptile
Talent Trees
- Wildfire (for Archmage class)
- Do so, so much fire damage.
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Ice (for Archmage and Necromancer classes)
- Do so, so much cold damage.
- This unlock is tied to an achievement and thus cannot be obtained on Easier mode.
- Stone (for Archmage and Arcane Blade classes)
- Defeat a unique earth elemental.
- Storm (for Archmage class)
- Defeat a unique Storm Mage
- Poisons (for Rogue, Marauder, Skirmisher and Archer classes)
- Consort with some ne'er-do-wells

- Infinite Dungeon: The Neverending Descent
- Find the entrance.
- The Arena: Challenge of the Master
- Compete in an event.

- Zigur Betrayal
- Read something in Zigur
- Redhead cosmetic option
- Rescue a redhead. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
- Female Dwarf Beards cosmetic option
- Play a female dwarf for a bit. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
- Insane Difficulty
- Win the game in Nightmare difficulty to unlock the even harder Insane difficulty. You have to win the main campaign, or Embers of Rage; winning the arena mode in Nightmare difficulty will not unlock Insane. However, once you have Insane difficulty unlocked, it will be available for all other game modes as well.
- Madness Difficulty
- Win the game in Insane difficulty to unlock the uber-hard Madness difficulty. You have to win the main campaign, or Embers of Rage; winning the arena mode in Insane difficulty will not unlock Madness. However, once you have Insane difficulty unlocked, it will be available for all other game modes as well.
- Bikini/Mankini cosmetic option
- Court a young damsel. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
- Demon Horns cosmetic option
- Make use of a certain Demonologist ability. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
- Red Skin cosmetic option
- Do what you do best as a Demonologist. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
- Drolem cosmetic option
- Defeat a Drolem as an Alchemist. You must be a donator to use this option once unlocked.
