Character
Game | Tales of Maj'Eyal: Age of Ascendancy 1.4.9 |
Addons | Ignore Campaign/Difficulty Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything. Bonus Escorts 1.3.1Adds Wilder and Psion escorts. No Locked Categories 1.0.1This addon unlocks all categories at birth. So your cat points can be spent on improving them, and/or buying extra rune/infusion slots. This addon will make the game easier. That's the intention, but more so, the intention is to make the game more free, and less restrictive early on. Extra Dungeons 1.4.8In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.) Current mod features: Overpowered Levelup Bonuses 1.3.1Gives extra talent, generic, category, prodigy, and saves every level. Also gives increased bonuses for wil, dex, con. Doctornull's Class Pack 1.4.2This pack compiles several classes, with an emphasis on hybrid design. Not all classes are complete: the ones which I'm not satisfied with are marked as either INCOMPLETE or "in BETA". The classes included in this pack are: (BETA) Shield Hero is an Adventurer who starts with heavy armor and a shield. Not very exciting unless you were annoyed about not being able to equip your Adventurer's shield right away. (INCOMPLETE) The Flux Marauder is a Paradox thug, stealing time from his enemies. x (Removed): The human-only Embers of Gerlyk are fire-using magical martial artists. Removed pending new content / 1.6 features. More Tales 1.2.5More Tales of Maj'Eyal - New quests and zones. New start zone for Shaloren, cos the Scintillating Caves is a bit mean. New zone for Thaloren, extending the Madness of the Ages quest. QuickTome: Resource Tweaks 1.3.1 Replace Swift Hands 1.3.1 Succor and easement 1.0.1INFO: This mod is *defunct*. Dead and buried. Been for years now. To be honest, I've been hoping something similar would make it into the main game but it never did. Which I will forever be miffed by :). There are alternatives (for both, the alchemist part and the escort part), check the comments, search the addons. I keep it here for those few who might want to play an older version of the game or for coding reference. --- Old description: A few things to make rng less random with regards to character build (because I really, really dislike it when a build is subject to randomness). This includes and is limited to: It does make the game easier. Not in a significant way but use at risk to your own pride. Formerly "known" as Succor and easement. No Encumbrance 1.0.4This addon permanently sets the player's current encumbrance to zero. Please let me know if there are any issues. No Reloading 1.0.0removes reloading from the game. Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Cash Grab 1.4.8Reduces value reductions from zones. Feel free to comment, but bear in mind that this is designed for people who WANT to grind for insanely specific end-game loot. If you don't wanna do that, don't download the mod. Those value penalties were put in to discourage a specific style of play, this addon is for people who wanna do that style of play anyway. TODO: Farportals. I've found the code but don't want to overload the large piece of code it's in, and I don't seem to be able to superload the things that define Farportal value. Marson's All-Seeing Eye 1.2.3v1.0.0 I created this so I could experiment with Madness without the need for a crazy amount of scouting. This is an extreme solution to scouting tedium as it also sees through invisibility and stealth as well. I may come up with a middle-ground solution after mucking with this a bit. QuickTome: Improved Recall 1.4.8Changes to make ToME faster to play without providing gameplay advantages. You may freely modify and redistribute this addon and its contents, except where otherwise indicated in the Credits section below. Weight: 216890 Full list of effects- After generating the world map, using zone exits or recalling allows you to teleport to most reachable zones, instead of having to walk through the world map. Recalling can still drag doomelves/doombringers/demonologists to the Anteroom of Agony, and the teleportation won't let you bypass Crypt of Kryl'Feijan, Godfeaster, or the Dreadfell ambush. - Maj'Eyal characters start with the Orb of Communication, which can be used to contact the alchemists, Elder of Last Hope, Protector Myssil, and Zemekkys when appropriate. - Achievement pop-ups and announcing your own achievements in chat can be disabled in the game UI and Online options, respectively. - Added an easily toggleable "digging mode" that automatically uses your Dig talent when you move into a diggable wall with no hostiles in sight. CreditsThe icon used for Toggle Digging Mode is licensed under CC-BY 3.0: https://game-icons.net/1x1/delapouite/war-pick.html Changelog1.1.0- This version is not compatible with savegames from previous versions! 1.0.16- Fixed Drem being able to teleport to Dwarf starting zones 1.0.15- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul version 1.0.32 1.0.14- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul version 1.0.27 1.0.13- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul version 1.0.22 1.0.12- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul version 1.0.18 1.0.11- Updated for ToME4 version 1.4.8 1.0.10- Greatly improve worldmap position handling: zone entrance positions are now auto-detected instead of enumerated, multiple onLevelLoads are no longer added 1.0.9- Fix Murgol Lair exit position 1.0.8- Fix regression in tier 1 zone teleports for non-Zone Overhaul games 1.0.7- Don't try to teleport when exiting damp/intimidating caves, Rat Lich crypt, etc. via the stairs 1.0.6- Allowed teleporting via zone exits, not just the Rod 1.0.5- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul 1.0.13 1.0.4- Fix typo that caused Briagh's Lair to be accessible when it shouldn't 1.0.3- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul 1.0.11 1.0.2- Fixed serialization bug that could leave player with nil wilderness position (requiring save editing to continue) if they teleported with the rod of recall, then saved and reloaded the game, then visited the worldmap without teleporting anywhere else. 1.0.1- Updated for qt-zone-overhaul 1.0.4 1.0.0- Initial release Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. Doesn't actually unlock anything. Frequently Asked Questions: Starting prodigy 1.0.4Prodigies have minimal requirements and you can get one at level 1. QuickTome: Orb of Communication 1.3.1 Murder - Quoth the Raven 1.4.0Adds the Murder tree for necromancers, allowing them to conjure flocks of crows. ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.4.0Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Superhuman 1.2.5For those who think the Homosuperior race by gkjzhgffjh is not easy enough. Experience Controller 1.4.8
Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes. You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.
How to enable/disable or configure this addon:
Modes functionality:
---
Update v4.0.1 * Fixed a few typos and minor logging issues
Update v4.0 * Compatible with TOME v1.7.4 * Added multiple customization possibilities in-game and reworked functionality of all the addon Mighty Level Up Cheat 1.3.0Greatly enhances rate of point gain for talents, generics, stats, categories and even prodigies. Conveyance Reward 1.4.8This adds the Spell/Conveyance tree as a reward for completing the Tempest Peak questline for Angolwen. All the code is borrowed from DG's own, and thus everything works the same as antimagic characters getting Fungus. Arcanum Class Pack 1.4.8Primary Features: Arcanist Features: Elementist Features: Enchanter Features: Archmage Features: Alchemist Features: Adjustable Talent/Stat/Generic/Category Point Multiplier 1.2.5Allows modification of gains for stats, resources, experience gain, category points, and prodigy points. If you would like to be able to modify other values post them in the comments. UPDATE: I've added the ability to modify stat and level maximums. I have also added the ability to customize which levels stats, talents, talent types, and prodigies are gained at. This allows for alternative leveling schemes such as gaining 2 class points on every even level and 2 generic points every odd level. For example, the max/milestone level could be set to 100, xp gain at 300, and all intervals doubled with alternating offsets for a faster early game, a slower late game, and increased potential for early game specialization. NOTE: All options are accessed after loading a character through the game options window under a new Levelup tab. They will only appear for characters created after the addon is enabled. UPDATE: I've added the ability to toggle unlearning of prodigies and stats. I've also reworked some of the internals to improve compatibility with future changes. QuickTome: Item Tweaks 1.4.8 Kestin Highfin's Vault 1.0.0A five floor dungeon in the Far East, filled with undead, demons, and treasure beyond imagination. These are the vaults of fabled explorer Kestin Highfin, and hidden in their depths are artifacts not seen by the eyes of the living in many years. Dare you brave the depths in search of these treasures? There may be some ahead of you, already searching themselves... Generic Ranged Training 1.4.0Adds a generic ranged training tree to the game. Archers start with it unlocked, all other classes can purchase it from an archery trainer in Elvala. Basic Ranged Mastery applies to all ranged weapons, but is weaker than more specialized masteries to compensate. Select your Escorts 1.4.8Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Multi-Class Challenge (Slight Edit by Rae) 1.4.2Allows the player to pick multiple classes, turning all enemies into Randbosses as a counter-measure. In order to activate this addon, look at your Game Options for a new tab. Exponential Leveling 1.4.8Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict. - Start a New Game. - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively. - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is. Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness) - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to. POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50): STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247 BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247 BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247 BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247 EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247 CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247 ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247 + ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+ All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat. Update v4.0.3
Infinite Cat Points 1.4.0One Cat Point per level. Necromancy+ 1.3.1Features: Spell/Charnel - class category available to Necromancer only. Tweaked Categories: Spell/Advanced Necrotic Minions Spell/Necrotic Minions Spell/Necrosis Spell/Shades Tweaked the talent levels granted by Blighted Summoning. Also adds in a new class called the Spiritmancer: The dead do not always rest easy, even free from fell influences. Categories: Karma Life Giver Ghosts Dawn Justice No Race-based Exp Penalties 1.0.4Removes all race-based exp penalties from the game. (Does not affect yeeks' bonus.) Could possibly cause issues with other addons which modify existing races. Please let me know should any issues arise. Eternal Darkness 1.4.4Adds many new spells for Necromancer and modifies many existing spells, effects and minions. See thread for full details. Nyles GOD Mode 1.4.8Nyles GOD Mode is an addon that prevents you from being killed. Sort of. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. It works this way (there are two different modes inside):- When activated, start a New Game. - You will find under game options > gameplay, a new setting that lets you toggle godmode on or off. - You can change this setting any time at any place in the game. Upon spotting an enemy, you will be granted a huge amount of life and regen as well a an incredible amount of resistances. When all the enemies are killed, you stats will be reverted back to normal.
