Description:
This mod adds Fanged Collar to player's starting inventory. Now you can start growing your own parasite from the very beginning.

[A necklace appear in inventory like a gray unidentified 'a necklace with fangs'.
If u want to know a magical properties - Right click on item and chose Identify. Item change to 'Fanged Collar'.
P.S. : Item usable without Identify (Parasite Race)]

To use this mod start a new game, with a newly activated race and die. After death - when given two options, choose "a) ...want to live".

And don't forget to equip Fanged Collar before dying.

Tired of being alone on your adventures? Tired of being an archmage with no one to give that unique battleaxe to? Tired of having no one to use your healing spells on? Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough.

-Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties.
-Select race and class of the party members to be created by raising and lowering free talent levels in a new automatically unlocked talent category and then activate the spawner talent to create a new member.
-Mark characters you no longer want to be deleted on death by selecting them and using that same talent on a character created by it.
-Revive dead party members by channeling a talent for 100 turns.
-Gain full control over each member whenever it becomes their turn by activating a sustainable talent on any of your party members.
-Gold is effectively shared between each party member allowing each character to use stores and trainers as well as benefit from gold based talents.
-Can create any race, class, and gender of which you have unlocked and is able to be played in the infinite dungeon, even from addons.
-Can define any party member's ally compassion by the game's default give orders dialog.
-Can define any party member's self preservation by the game's default give orders dialog.
-Can disable friendly fire damage via a sustainable talent on a per-character basis.

-!Due to how alchemists are designed, you will not be able to take direct control of their golems if the alchemist is not your main character, but should still function correctly elsewise.

Description

This addon adds the Shaman as a playable class. Shamans are masters of elemental magic attacks, mindpower based summons, or good old fashioned melee weapons.

Shamans use both their weapon sets and are encouraged to switch during the battle to adapt to every situation.

They start with the Shaman's Path talent, a passive that gives them bonus adapted to their weapon sets of choice.

6 unique class trees (3 locked) :
- Elemental Magic and High Elemental Magic: Mana based spells with a cold and lightning thematic.
- Natural Warrior and Greater Natural Warrior: Stamina based 2h trees with a nature thematic.
- Spirits and Spirit Master: Equilibrium trees based on 2 permanent summons, a nature one and a cold one.

2 unique generic trees :
- Fetishes : Lasting AoE with animal thematics (blinding hawk, stunning bear, etc...).
- Totems : short duration summons with powerful buff/debuff AoE.

With the exception of 4 talents, Shaman talents can appear on NPC.

This is my first addon and first coding project, I can promise I tested this addon as best I could, but that does not mean it is without bugs. Please report any bugs you find and I will endeavor to fix them ;)

Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Turns off escort quests and alchemists quests. Removes wyrm bile stat changes.

Is a lot more generous with talents, types and stat points for each level gained.
Birth stats remain unchanged.
5 stat points per level.
3 talent points per level ( 4 if a multiple of 5 ).
3 generic points per level ( 2 if a multiple of 5 ).
3 category points per instance at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 36 ( and for every 30 levels after).
2 prodigies at levels 20, 30 and 42. Additionally, +1 prodigies every 50 levels.

Add an option to buy points at Last Hope's Elder

Adds 3 new dungeons to the world map (blood soaked ruins, infested ruins & wolfmire) these dungeons will have unique boss and lore spawns. 8 new bosses have been added that will spawn in the new dungeons (they will also spawn in Infinite Dungeon)

Over time I will be adding more dungeons to explore and bosses to defeat! I also have plans to create new mobs and mob variations, create unique artifacts and eventually implement a quest system to reward you for defeating the new bosses (since quests are not yet implemented bosses will drop gold upon death.

Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up.
It is meant to make Madness difficulty possible without cheating or hacking of any kind. The game isn't really meant to be beaten on Madness-Roguelike in a legit way, which is why trainers/cheats/savescams exist. There have been only a couple of winners that might be real and legit, and they are Adventure class with no video proof.

Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to use this addon:

    - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
    - Start a New Game.
    - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
    - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
    

Operating Modes:

    - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
    - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
    - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
    - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    

Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes):

    - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
    - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.

All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat.

This is a fork of PlayerAI by Charidan.
Adds a keybind to activate the new player AI. Set to Alt+F1 by default.
This player AI rests, auto-explores, and attacks enemies.
It will clear an entire floor or stop when it has low health in the presence of enemies.

The AI will stop at the following low health conditions:
Less than 50% health but more than 4 enemies nearby.
Less than 40% health but more than 2 enemies nearby.
Less than 30% health but at least 1 enemy nearby.

Note for Developers: This addon superwrites Player:act(), so if your addon also touches Player:act() change the load order so that the Player AI addon loads last.

Removes all the unwanted categories from the level up screen so it runs smoothly.

Incompatibilities: There shouldn't be, unless you name your class "Hero" also.

This mod is a simple quality of life change for the adventurer class that gives more points over all as well as starting the class off with 3 points in armour mastery and 1 point in weapon accuracy. It also changed all the categories to 1.5

Adds a new race for the elves: Dark Elves also known as "Drow". The dark elves hail from far beneath the planet's surface somewhere within the "Deep Bellow." Features custom racial talents.

Berserker punching orcs to death? Temporal Warden using guns? Why is this Sawbutcher using Mindstars? This mod removes some restrictions to let almost every talent work with almost any weapon.

This mod is currently under development, so beware of potential problems and please report any bugs or errors here or preferably in the discussion thread. Suggestions are also welcome.

Removes all race-based exp penalties from the game. (Does not affect yeeks' bonus.)

Adds the Afflicted Class, Possessed.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

This addon gives access to the Exotic Weapons Mastery talent by default so it can be trained on any character with Technique/Combat Training. It should be compatible will all other addons.

Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
• The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
• The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• Forbidden Tomes: Find special artifact books of ancient lore. But, read at your own peril, for the story they tell may very well suck you in... quite literally.
  Maybe you will even find The One That Writes...
• Occult Egress: A strange, extremely old, contraption of unknown origin. It seems to require some kind of code sequence to activate. Maybe you will find some during your adventures?
• The Entropic Void: So you think you are strong? Powerful? Invulnerable? In the end, entropy always wins, as you will learn...

Adds a keybind to activate the new player AI. Set to Alt+F1 by default.
This player AI rests, auto-explores, and attacks enemies.
It will clear an entire floor or stop when it hits 1/4 health in the presence of enemies.

Adds class-appropriate weapon schematics to the birth definition of Tinker classes. Requires Embers of Rage DLC.

Characters are given +2 Class Talents, +2 Generic Talents, +10 Stat Points, and +1 Prodigy Points upon reaching level 10.
(you'll still have to be level 30 and meet all other requirements to use Prodigies, of course)

This is meant to compensate for the removal of Alchemist Quests, Escorts, Yeek Wayist's Buff, and Wyrm Bile's Stat Changes which are tedious but provide very nice rewards. The idea is to restore some of the power which is lost by removing these rewards without changing the overall strength of the character. Getting the Light Category via escort, for instance, is easily as good as most Prodigies.

Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes.

You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

 

How to enable/disable or configure this addon:

• Download, install and activate it. Start a New Game.
• You can enable/disable or change mode, set the amount of flat experience or multiplier to apply to each future kill from the "Gameplay" settings in-game.

 

Modes functionality:

• VANILLA -> Doesn't change anything compared to original game.
• BALANCED (default) -> Gives on general more experience to the player on higher difficulties than original game, depending also on the rank and level of the defeated enemy.
• VERY FAST -> Gives 250% flat experience compared to original TOME.
• FLAT -> Each kill gives X experience points, regardless of what you kill or what level you/they are. How much per kill can be configured in the Gameplay settings.
• CUSTOM -> Multiplies by X all the experience you gain from kills. You can set your own multiplier in the Gameplay settings.
• INSTANT LV50 -> One kill for LV50. A cheat way to test out new builds REALLY fast.

This unlocks various(all?) talents trees at x1.3 for Adventurers, including possessor, stone warden and cursed/cursed aura. This addon REQUIRES possessors to be enabled, meaning you must be a donator, and logged in.

Allows adventurers to play the game with any combination of other class skills. The adventurer class can now use Skirmisher talents, Stone Warden talents and Cursed Aura, as well as the Tinker system. It also starts with a steam generator, and because I also tend to play with Adventurer Tweaks, it starts with two extra talent and generic points, three extra stat points, and has a mastery of 1.3 in all categories.

Adds useful items to the game. Currently supported:

• Single-use infusion patches for healing, detrimental effect removal and temporary speed.
• Scrolls of phase door, teleportation and controlled phase door.
• Rods of trap detection and disarming.

Prodigies have minimal requirements and you can get one at level 1.

Adding game options (in the misc tab) to turn off the shaders of stealth, invisible, unstoppable and lightning speed.

Allows characters created in the AoA campaign to access special starting zones normally restricted by race and/or class.

After the character is created and the level-up screen closed, a dialog will offer the option to transfer to one of the following starting zones (and gain associated quests, etc):

Sunwall. (Celestial Human/Elf Start)
Point Zero. (Chronomancer Start)
Irkkk. (Yeek Start)
Trollmire (Allied Start - must start elsewhere).

Notes:
Choosing to start in the Sunwall will set your faction to 'Sunwall' regardless of race.
Choosing to start in Irkkk will set your faction to 'The Way' regardless of race.
Choosing to start in Trollmire or Searing Halls will set your faction to 'Allied' if you are undead.
Choosing to start in Kroshkkur will set your faction to 'Sanctuary of Horrors' if you are undead.
Choosing to start in Point Zero or Kroshkkur will also teach you the corresponding 'Teleport:' spell, which cannot be unlearned. As these are spells, knowing one will prevent you from entering Zigur or betraying escorts.
You will not recieve the Cloak of Deception if you select a new start as undead, but your faction will be changed as listed above and you will not need it.

Prodigies have no level requirements and lessened stat requirements - and all characters start with one.
Still works in Newest, probably works in older versions of the game.
Remade cause the old one was kind of jank and way too broken for me. This version still requires all other requirements be met.

For those who think the Homosuperior race by gkjzhgffjh is not easy enough.

Adds the Illusionist and Arcane Trickster subclasses to Tales of Maj'Eyal. Both of these classes rely on subterfuge and deception to survive.
The Illusionist is a master of light and shadow who confuses foes to keep them at bay.
The Arcane Trickster is a rogue who specializes in disabling foes from a distance before closing in for the kill.

This addon allows players to adjust the amount of exp they gain per kill via Game Options.

The current allowable range is 0% - 1000%, with 100% being the default rate. The range can be expanded if there's demand for it.

The adjustment rate will be set to the default of 100% for each new character made, and once set will remain persistent for that specific character.

Also, the level cap on gaining exp from lower leveled opponents has been removed for increased flexibility.

Adds in a new Undead race, Ghost. Ghosts have a life rating lower than that of yeeks, but ghosts make up for this by sharing damage with their mana pool.
Being a ghost gives them access to certain categories, Ghosts can gain the following categories; Aegis, Cursed-Aura, Gloom, and Fears.

This addon adds in a Faerie, or Fey, race into ToME. This addon was originally created by Kaballah, but he hasn't been online in over a year.
Instead of letting it die (I mean, how could we not be able to play as a Faerie?) I decided to fork it over into a playable form.
I've taken it, modified it's values, and changed it's 4th talent.

The Fey are an incredibly quick and agile race, however they are incredibly fragile.
You will have to make use of their blinding speed to survive encounters.
If you find yourself in trouble, you can spray some Fey Dust onto nearby enemies while you escape.

Dark Faeries are Faeries that have given up much of their natural agility and defense in exchange for bonus offensive potency.
They are extremely frail, even more so than their more agile counterparts, but make up for it with faster offense, higher damage, and many different tricks.
Despite all thoughts otherwise, they are still, mostly, a playful bunch to be around, if not a bit more painful in their method of invitation.

--Calls forth 3 shadows onto nearby enemies that are in sight.
--Shadows are extremely weak, but make for decent body-blockers.
--Vision Radius, Vision Duration, and Number of Shadow Targets increases with talent level.

-Feyd to Black
--Active
--Call forth the powers of darkness to overflow the battlefield, affecting all Actors in sight range.
--Increase all allies life by a percent of their Max Life. (Including yourself.)
--Decreases all foes life by a percent of their Max Life.
--Blind all foes, even those who cannot normally be blinded.
--This effect's power increases as your life decreases.
--This talent does not proc healing effects, and cannot lower enemies below 10% of their max health.

Note: Since Waladil will no longer be updating "Extra Dungeons" I decided to add Caldera and Sludgenest to the world map.

Unlock the Adventurer class category (internally T-Engine calls them"classes"). This allows the Weekly Adventurer class to be selected.It does not unlock anything else, not even the titular Adventurer class(called a "subclass" by the engine).

One Cat Point per level.

This mod is not intended to be balanced. For the majority of players, it will likely spoil/ruin the game. If you are one of those players, do not download or use the mod.

This mod alters the Adventurer class to provide even more freedom in customizing your talents. A new elven subrace is also included which provides several talents (i.e. racial) which Adventurer does not pick up. Sufficient points and options are available to make character level the only limiting factor in your talent selections. You are not obligated to use all points provided.

Given the boosts your character will receive while playing with this mod active, it is strongly recommended that you select the highest difficulty setting available to you.

If you have not yet unlocked the Adventurer class, you will also need the Ignore Race/Class Locks mod.

This mod was tested with TOME v1.3.1. Since it only edits the Adventurer-class-specific data and adds a sub-race, it should remain compatible with most other mods. For example, the Infinite 500 mod alters many parts of the game mechanics, but it doesn't make edits which affect Adventurers without affecting other characters, so the edits do not conflict.
