Original Improved Combat Text mod by Codefly

This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
- Shows the damage type (lightning, etc.) as icons or text!
- Text moves in a consistent direction and should be much easier to read than ToME's default for a variety of reasons.
- Can group damage for an entire player turn, or by every action taken - choose how much information you want to see!
- Various font sizes to choose from
- Various font coloring options (color by major damage type, use the default red / green, etc.)
- Text duration can be changed to fit your play style.

- различные размеры шрифтов

Adds an option to the Sher'Tul fortress butler to spend some fortress energy enhancing your golem to match your movement speed.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• What if I get more speed-boosting equipment after I upgrade my golem?
• Hey! The upgrade is making my golem's movement speed higher than mine!

Adds Wilder and Psion escorts.

Removes race lock from stone warden that prevents creation of non-dwarf stone wardens.
(Note: Stone Fortress was unchanged and has no special effect for non-dwarves)

Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:

• Unopened golden chests, graves and weird pedestals; giant digestive sacks and strange tentacle "trees" from the Forbidden Cults DLC; demon statues from the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC; strange conduits from the Embers of Rage DLC.
• Unopened vaults, including "hidden vault" sub-zones.
• Various quest-related events like Tempest Peak and the Sher'tul farportal.
• Sub-zones like damp caves, intimidating caves, and the temporal rift in Daikara.
• Glyph sequences from the Forbidden Cults DLC, as found on various levels.
• Various non-main-plot zones on the world map, like Ruined Dungeon or Mark of the Spellblaze (configurable), if you have not visited them or killed their associated guardian.

Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes".

Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race.

This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters.

Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon.

Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter.

This addon adds Stone Warden's Talent Trees to adventurers who play the dwarven race. For this addon to function, the stone warden addon MUST be enabled. This means you must be logged in, and a donator, to use this addon. If you attempt to use it without Stone Warden addon enabled, it will not add the trees, and may create further bugs.

Adds additional options to talent auto-use

Places the Godfeaster on the map instead of as a random encounter, and warns you about not being able to rod out. Essentially a copy-paste of Melinda on the Map.

Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example:

Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats

Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat.

Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff.

Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level.

All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have.

This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues.

Places a special object on level 3 of Lake of Nur that will help you in your fight with the Weirdling Beast.

Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Features:

This mod adds Fanged Collar to player's starting inventory. Now you can start growing your own parasite from the very beginning.

[A necklace appear in inventory like a gray unidentified 'a necklace with fangs'.
If u want to know a magical properties - Right click on item and chose Identify. Item change to 'Fanged Collar'.
P.S. : Item usable without Identify (Parasite Race)]

To use this mod start a new game, with a newly activated race and die. After death - when given two options, choose "a) ...want to live".

And don't forget to equip Fanged Collar before dying.

Adds Outlander as a playable human subrace, he has VERY UNIQUE talents.
T1: learn skills from killed enemies with the cost of some exp.
T2: better chance to get egos on random items.
T3: control an enemy by paying money.
T4: boost player's rank.

v1.0.10: now it costs 100% - 20% current xp if you want to learn a talent from an enemy.

Takes out the boring grinding fingerwork of archer gameplay with a single keystroke. This addon automatically walks toward visible enemies, uses your archer talents (or basic shoot skill), reloads your bow mid-fight, or autoexplores when nobody is around. Sit back and enjoy the magic of The Auto Archer.

This addon is home to bonus races, objects, and even a custom zone, for all your turtle pleasures.

Turtle - The normal, all around tanky subrace. Destroy your foes with potent damage reflection and regenerative properties.
MegaTurtle - Imagine normal Turtle, turned up to 11.
EarthTurtle - Potent damage reduction and save powers. The purely defensive focused Turtle.
IceTurtle - Melee's nightmare, fights with constant damage shields, ice blocks, and cold damage reflection.
VolcanicTurtle - Incredible aoe potency. The purely melee focused Turtle.

Tauntlets - Gauntlets with the power to block.
A multitude of varied Artifacts.

Zones;
The Turtlemire - Home to all Turtles, face off against all 5 Turtle subraces.
Ancient Turtle Cave - Home to the great Turtle Demigod Rex, make your way through 3 powerful Bosses, Rex himself, and claim your rewards.

Enemies;
All subraces can be found in the game as npc opponents.

Adds a variety of random youkai that have weird and/or stupid quirks, generally pertaining to equipment slots.
Takonyudo (octopode): namesake of the addon. Start with poison unlocked. 4 weapon and 4 offhands, 8 rings, and no armor except helmet.
Oboroguruma (oxcart): equip any weapon, armor, or jewelry you like, but the total quantity of items you can equip is limited by level.
Chopirako (house spirit): all chance based events succeed every time.
Iwanabozu (fish monk): high life rating. Cannot deal or take more than 1% of its life per hit, which is relaxed as you deal or take more damage.
Mekurabe (pile of skulls): 16 head slots and no other armor. Roll around stealthily as a bunch of heads, then assemble yourself to frighten anyone you stare at.
Kyorinrin (sentient scroll): no armor slots. Gain stats and extra talent levels by picking up lore pieces depending on how long the lore scrap was.
Aoandon (lantern spirit): no armor slots. Tell ghost stories to reduce power and saves, then manifest in a flash of terror.

Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs:
- Escorts now follow the player when not close to the portal.
- Escorts occasionally say useful things.
- Escorts heal 5% of their maximum health per turn.

Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
• The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
• The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• Forbidden Tomes: Find special artifact books of ancient lore. But, read at your own peril, for the story they tell may very well suck you in... quite literally.
  Maybe you will even find The One That Writes...
• Occult Egress: A strange, extremely old, contraption of unknown origin. It seems to require some kind of code sequence to activate. Maybe you will find some during your adventures?
• The Entropic Void: So you think you are strong? Powerful? Invulnerable? In the end, entropy always wins, as you will learn...

What would an expansion about horrors be without a bunch of new horrors to torment you with? Please give a warm welcome to:

• Searing Horrors: You liked luminous horrors? You loved radiant horrors? You will absolutely adore their searing big brothers!
• Nethergates: It sleeps. Maybe it should stay that way.
• Netherworms: Vampiric worm masses that are bound to tickle your fancy! And tickle hard.

• Events: Discover new strange contraptions in familiar zones. What could go wrong?

Gives Adventurers 3 more Category Points at creation, from 7 to 10.

- All Skirmisher categories (Including Technique/Tireless Combatant)

Замечали когда-нибудь, что новые строки в журнале битвы не всегда соответствуют концу своего хода? Этот мод помещает "------" между строками хода, что бы можно было легче визуально отделить минувшую очередь действий.
Мод по прежнему добавляет разделитель между игровыми ходами для большей наглядности.

= Band of Protection =
Getting a Damage Shield or Psionic Damage Shield effect while Band of Protection's Steam Shield effect is active causes game-breaking errors. This addon fixes this and makes Steam Shield behave like the other two damage shield effects (gets overwritten by new damage shields).

= Quake hitting multiple times =
Quake performs knockback during projection, which can cause the same actor to be hit multiple times, depending on the order that squares are iterated over. This addon fixes Quake so that it can only hit each actor once.

= Proc bonuses/penalties with nested attacks =
Weapon attacks that happen during other weapon attacks (such as Flexible Combat and weapons with talents on hit or talents on crit) can result in proc damage bonuses from staves being applied to the wrong weapon's procs, and the proc penalty for ogres applying multiple times to a weapon's procs and failing to apply at all to other procs. This addon fixes this so that the proc bonus from staves/shields only applies to the staff/shield's procs, and so that the ogre proc penalty always applies once.

= Real-time Anomaly Meteors =
Actors can dodge meteors from Anomaly Meteor by moving out of the way within 1/6th of a second, real-time. This addon removes this real-time behaviour, making the game properly turn-based once again.

= Wild Speed, Step Up, etc. resource leak =
An engine bug causes timed effects like Wild Speed and Step Up (ones that stop when you use a talent or attack) to constantly increase the size of a table on the actor using them. On characters that use these talents heavily, this can bloat savegames. This addon fixes this bug.

v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 ***
This is a fork (with permission) of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks. It includes as well C.Lowe/CaptainTrip's improvements as well. It does not include, but recommends also using Johnny0's Faster RRE add-on for even better rest and auto-explore experience. This add-on contains numerous Quality of Life improvements designed to make resting and auto-exploring easier to use, brings the add-on overall up to being compatible with 1.6.x, and generally seeks to remove it being more optimal to do timed rests or manual recovery (particularly to help higher difficulty level and players without Faster RRE). Cleaned up feature list in this take, to make it easier to see what it does.

It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them.

Latest Update Notes:
• Changed steam sustain behavior to match current gameplay. Before sustains tended to shut off when available resource was 0, now they don't seem to do so. This will now only turn off sustains that drain steam if steam is going below 0, so as to get to a steady finish state.
• Fix minor bug where stealth enabling was always on if you had it.
• Added new option to ignore quest members when resting or exploring. It defaults to off but for those folks that know they want to ignore those quest allies and rest a bit.

Existing Features:
• removed First Sighting and Reset on Rest. Someone can patch them in if they'd like it back, but I'm not really keeping them alive.

• When resting, it will check for infusions and runes that could be used to accelerate HP, Mana, or Equilibrium (via Ancestral Life or Meditation) recovery. If the acceleration appears significant, it will use them, rotating from first available infusion or rune outward. In experiment, I found this often reduced rest turn time by 50-80 percent, improving the more drained the resource was. Particularly helpful for Mana, as it avoids trade-off advantages of short term resting (for increased mana regen) + rune use by just handling that more optimal play for you automatically without breaking rest.
• Support for steam implants, with usual checkboxes. This may not always be faster based on steam sustains that may disable after the initial round of rest and steam implants having very long cooldowns (30+ turns) and steam's resource max being pretty small. It tries to be conservative on that, so will most likely help for cases where your functional steam regen rate is < 2.00 and never activate for things much above it. I found I was often getting 5-20 steam per turn, which makes the implant support useless.
• Supports for medical healing salve injectors. Cooldown measurements are a bit odd here, since they can range from 5-20 depending on injector. Went with 10 as a happy medium for how many turns of natural regen is considered to be equal to the cooldown cost of using it.
• Adding support to auto-stealth if available and not stealthed.
• Option for ignoring small damage when moving and resting, basically if it is <5%, it will ignore it by default, prevent small DoTs from preventing rest.
• Options added to control whether or not to use inscriptions to accelerate recovery of things.
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

• Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments.

All World Map Patrols have been disabled because they're fucking annoying and nobody likes them.

Yakri: I'm making a couple changes suggested in the mod thread, and testing for errors/incompatibilities in current version of TOME.
I don't actually know any lua, so we'll see how much I can actually get done.

Changes:
Added Techniques/Combat Veteran to transcendent Fist.

With this, the die-or-die situation is
avoided when yeeks win the game, nothing else. Only
sure to work with 1.4.8, since the final chat is just
replaced, checking for race Yak instead of race Yeek.

(***optional version with original golem magic tree***Replaces golemancy tree file) More powerful golem, using shield&weapon, and conditioning skills; full armor equippable. Probably, not balanced.

Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game.
You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)
Note: Unfortunately the only time that addons can get the possible escort types is after the random escort quest is assigned.
This means escorts added by other addons will not be available for selection, but will still be possible to find using the random selection.

ADDON DETAILS: Fork of kvaak's Uncloak of Inconvenience Addon, so only the faction gets changed to Allied Kingdoms, and the rest of the data (including starting inscriptions) is left unchanged. This enables Undead Tinkers in Maj'Eyal campaign to have the correct starting inscriptions.

There is now no Cloak of Deception, existing or needed. Use this instead of the Uncloak of Inconvenience addon.

Version 1.0.1 also makes sure that new undead characters are addressed as human by the NPCs that address you by race. With this addon active, all new characters that have the undead attribute will be addressed as human, even Whitehooves from Embers Races in Maj'Eyal Campaign addon: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/orcsallraces

BASE GAME AND ADDON NOTE: I have discovered that because the check in the default 1.5.5 ToME game for Zigur patrols and betraying to Zigur doesn't check whether the player is undead, that Undead Tinkers start friendly to Zigur and can betray to Zigur until they get some spells or runes. However, the appearance of the Zigur town IS dependent on not being undead, so it is not possible to become anti-magic. Also, undead in Maj'Eyal campaign properly can't use infusions or nature powers, so that part is working as intended.

So this addon is fine, it's just that the base 1.5.5 game currently doesn't make Zigur hostile and betraying to Zigur impossible merely because you're undead (read: have arcane aura that can be detected by Zigur). It requires you to have spells or runes, which Undead non-tinkers have, but Undead Tinkers only have neutral Steamtech implants or generators.

To properly play an Undead Tinker in Maj'Eyal campaign (with or without addons, as this is the same even with only official game and DLC), I suggest that you do not betray to Zigur and don't use arcane disrupting gear (which should disrupt the normal actions of an undead, but doesn't currently in 1.5.5).

This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness
- sorts all stats by category - DPS/DEF/MISC
- item's passive power always the same blue color (not a random blue-yellow-pink-green)
- item's usable power - always yellow
- all rarity categories are displayed
- encumbrance value moved to the right under item name
- "on hit" powers always green
- "Stats" have an ornage highlight and placed before others because it's most important one
- Removed many extra-explain details, which any veteran player would not want to read each time
for example, stat "S.pwr/crit" shorten from "Spellpower on spell critical (stacks up to 3 times)"
means you do remember that it can stack only 3 times, and is not so super important anyway

Most important thing to remember
- Requirements only shown for those you don't meet. If you want to see all reqs - hold CTRL
- "Phasing" stat means - "Damage Shield penetration", the name was taken from the source and looks good to me, and short enough
- The "-" minus sign at the end of stat mean immunity or reduction of some sort, for example "Blind-" = "Blindness immunity",
- "Max.summ" = Max wilder summons
- "Summ.HP.reg" = Life regen bonus (wilder-summons)
- "Def/telep" = Defense after a teleport
- "Res/telep" = Resist all after a teleport

Plenum ToolTip: Enhanced tooltip display for ToME version 2.4 for ToME 1.3.0

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.
