The check is performed automatically on character load, and can also be triggered manually via the keybinding <Ctrl-Alt-Shift-P>. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Loot Expansion 1.7.4Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example: Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat. Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff. Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level. All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have. This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues. In the meantime, please check it out and post any questions, concerns, or tuning feedback. Audiomancy is an audio enhancement for ToME that does not affect music. It started with the High Quality Sounds mod (thanks to Gurkoz), but it does a bit more than replace sounds. It enhances the code introducing random variance, layering, and new trigger points. Weapon types (sword, great axe, mace, sling, bows, etc.) have distinct sounds in combat, along with NPC types having different impact sounds. Many weapons have distinct critical hit sounds as well. Ranged weapons have separated attack and hit sounds. Melee and ranged talents you would have expected to produce sound before likely will with this mod. Multiple hits trigger multiple sounds, e.g. the Volley talent. There is still more to do, especially in terms of providing distinct sound effects for various game mechanics and talents, but the code as-is will affect almost every sound played in the game while adding more. I attempted to maximize compatibility, replacing a single function and using superloading and hooking for the rest. Version 1.2.1: Version 1.2.0: Version 1.1.0: Automatic Notes 1.7.0Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:
Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes". Frequently Asked Questions: Nur Kit 1.7.0Places guaranteed water-breathing equipment in Last Hope's lost merchant store and makes it available via an NPC in Irkkk. In the Embers of Rage DLC, also places similar gear in various stores in Kruk Pride. In the Hammer of Urh'Rok campaign, places water-breathing gear in Lake of Nur. Melinda on the Map 1.7.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. Auto Use Tweaks 1.5.5Tweaks the auto use options for talents.
It has 106 options currently, to cover most situations. Bind multiple to left click [don't forget alt+shift+o for this] Talents requiring an enemy will not auto-use if under 50%mana or 25%vim or 25%stam. Changelog (cause comment system's busted): 2/5/2018 Shared Stash 1.7.6About: After half a day diving in documentations and source code of other addons (original Items Vault included) this is what I managed to put together. Shared Stash features: From Russia with love. Changelog: Exponential Leveling 1.7.4Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict. - Start a New Game. - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively. - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is. Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness) - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to. Update v4.0.3
True Full Respec 1.7.2Allow trial and error for character building without restarting new game while minimizing inbalance. You can respec stats, talents, categories and prodigies freely at any time. Yakri: I wasn't stoked about the inability to respec starting categories, as I'm a huge weirdo who likes to unspec things I don't like and mastery boost other categories. I am not the original mod creator, I just updated the update youhei created based on Full Respecialization by Time to Die Weight: 100 Superload: Q.U.I.C.K. Campaign 1.7.6Operation Q.U.I.C.K.: Quickly Untying "Inconvenient" Chronological Knots Adds a fast play campaign with a Point Zero themed quest line that sends the player to a series of dungeon-portions from the standard AoA campaign. Players will adventure through ~8 shortened zones, starting with teir 1 dungeons and progressing all the way through to the finale at High Peak. The campaign is broken into 8 segments, with a reward before each. These bonuses largely offer rewards that could be gained from optional quests in AoA. You will also have a chance to shop after each segment, and this version of Point Zero has greatly expanded and improved shopping opportunities. There is also an NPC that can create randarts with one ego of your choice, for a price. See the forum thread for more details: https://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=55067 Portable Item Vault 1.7.4Add a portable item vault to your inventory! Nekarcos's Quality of Life 04: Healing Reduction (v2) 1.0.0This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
UI Pack: Plumpkins! 1.6.0Cosmetic pack! Campaign Planning 1.7.0A companion piece to Talent Point Planner (release 11.3.1 or later, or via ZOmnibus Addon Pack or ZOmnibus Lite release 17.7.4 or later); adds talent point sources for various campaigns provided by third-party addons. Currently supported:
Mannendake's Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.7.2Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. This is a fork of a fork of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks, forked by Dracos and then again by mannendake. This version fixes opening doors taking a turn and returns the fixedart icons to their respective lore entries. v3.5.1 *** FOR ToME v1.7.2 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. This mod provides several options to control it. These may be found by opening the Game Menu->Game Options->Gameplay menu. Feel free to customize to preference with the defaults meant to be free of questionable behavior. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Godfeaster on the Map 1.7.0Places the Godfeaster on the map instead of as a random encounter, and warns you about not being able to rod out. Essentially a copy-paste of Melinda on the Map. Always Transmogrify 1.7.4Removes the transmogrify confirmation dialogue box and additionally allows tagged objects to be transmogrified. Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Cleaner Item Descriptions 1.7.0This is a fork of Better Item Descriptions that simply makes the tooltip larger and uses long phrases instead of abbreviations. If you hold ALT before mousing over an item, you can see its vanilla description. If you ask what part of a description means, everyone gets to laugh at you. However, feel free to suggest better phrasing. Merchant on the Map 1.7.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Grey Out Unusable Items 1.7.2This addon shows inventory items in dark grey if they have a power source incompatible with your character. Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again! Faster Run/Rest/Explore 1.0.6Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description! Recommended settings:hit escape -> video options
Description:Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers. These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers. Just be careful when resting on an escort mission... Changelog:See the forum discussion for the changelog. Simple Font Floating Text 1.1.5Changes the floating text to a different font EquipDoll - Clean Item Names 1.7.2Makes clearer view of EuipDoll by replacing item egos list with actual name, and tuning a font a bit The Hammer of Urh'Rok: Part I 1.7.4The Hammer of Urh'Rok, Part I ((This Addon requires the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC)) In this timeline, the Scourge from the West died after using the Demonic Orb of Many Ways, giving the demons everything they needed to get through the planetary shield. As a Bringer of Doom in service to the demonic invasion, you will fight your way across a dozen new zones, uncover mysteries, pillage cities, join evil cults, and bring ruin to the land of Maj'Eyal. Future updates will bring better art, more variety, and all sorts of content. Now with 4 pieces of art by rexorcorum! Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.7.4Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Better Sandworm Lair 1.5.10This addon aims to make Sandworm Lair less terrible. It does so by doing four things: Enabling natural tunnels, disabling burrowers, replacing the walls with their stable counterparts, and removing the alt version. These changes are accomplished by overloading the zone and npc files with edits and commented out sections. Please consider checking out the following addons that are probably better at dealing with the annoyance offered by SWL: codyfun123's "Sandworm Lair Tweaks" Updates: 1.0.1 Auto Loot Transmo 1.7.4Allows the game to auto transmo loots based on item types and some more advanced options. Press Ctrl + Alt + T to config. Schematics will never be picked up. It'll either be used immediately to unlock the tinker, or be destroyed if the player has already learned it. 0.0.0 - All functions have been tested separately. However considering the complexity of this addon, real-play tests are necessary. Turn Tracker 1.7.0Only for Minimalist UI Adds a UI element to display the predicted order of character turns for the next three turns. NOTE: The game itself is not necessarily consistent about who goes first if two creatures are tied in energy. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.

Easy Map v2 1.6.0Description Original Easy Map mod by Codefly This addon replaces ToME's map display with one that's more in-line with other games. You can drag the mouse to scroll, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and left-click to set the currently viewed area (instead of accidentally traveling there, which can still be done via right-click menu). It also shows the viewport rectangle on the map, and if your computer is powerful enough, you can even show the actual terrain instead of the confusing color blocks, or make the walls red to easily find paths you have yet to explore. The player and zone exits are also displayed as icons on the map. Additionally, if you travel via the map and stop unexpectedly (i.e., you ran into your golem), a friendly dialog will pop up asking if you'd like to continue to your destination.
