Shows glove combat stats with all classes.

This adds new weapon types and egos to the game.

- Tridents are unchanged, but generate more often.
- Whips can now generate normally, and their accuracy bonus now slows the target.
- Swordbreakers are weak knives that have a chance to disarm on hit, and give bonuses to dual weapon defense.
- Rapiers are 1h weapons that use dagger mastery and rely on strength, dexterity, and cunning.
- Bucklers are light shields that can greatly increase your defense and give you faster attacks against those who miss you in melee.
- Buckler offense tree at varying levels of access for 5 or so classes. Skirmishers start with a buckler.
- Spears/Greatspears are slow weapons that can attack from a distance.
- Clubs/Greatclubs are maces that can pick up mindstar egos.
- Throwing knives can be used in melee or as a short ranged attack with the shoot talent.
- Daggers will now use the higher of strength or cunning if you don't have Lethality.
- Mindslayers can now equip ranged weapons in their psionic focus slot.
- Aurastones are magic-based items that can be equipped to modify your unarmed attacks.
- Magic Weapon Mastery applies to staves, aurastones, and sceptres, and can be learned in Angolwen.

Most of the stuff here can be individually turned on/off in the Game Options menu. So you could use this addon just for the extra tridents if you really wanted to.

Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0

This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels.

Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options.

Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D.

NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings.

Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops.

Traps have been added back to the I.D.

Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth.

Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted.

The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest.

The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop.

Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree.

Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters.

This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics:
The ability to shrug off critical hits has been changed. Instead of using the percent value to ignore crits completely, it reduces the crit multiplier by the same amount to a minimum of 100%.

Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229).
Saving throws have been modified slightly to make them more effective at reducing the duration of status effects you fail to save against. (See http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=36715 for details.)

An attempt to make 1920x1080 easier on my decaying eyesight, plus a few personal preferences. This is a revamp for the Minimalist UI. It may work for Classic, but hasn't been tested for it. Most settings can be found on the UI tab on the Game Options screen.

• Adds a 'Fonts' tab to 'Game Options'. Choose separate font styles and sizes for six categories:

    * menus & dialogs
    * HUD elements
    * tooltips & character sheet

• Enabled and modified 'Creature List' code that was in stock ToME but not used. Lists NPCs in player's sight along with their remaining energy and distance. Mousing over an NPC in the Creature List will center the screen on that creature. Toggle the list on/off with Ctrl-Tab.
• 'Limit Terrain Height' option will rescale trees and mushrooms to prevent them from overlapping the grid above them. (Will not affect current level until you leave and return.)
• Adds viewport options: 'Original' is the stock behavior from v1.1.5 ToME. The game will use Scroll Distance, but won't show a black border around the map. With a high Scroll Distance, you will remain centered until you get to the edge of the map, at which point the map stops moving and your character moves off-center. 'No Hiding' is now the stock behavior of v1.2.x ToME. It is a bit of a hybrid. The map will scroll similar to 1.1.5, but will show enough of a black border so that your avatar will not hide under UI elements such as the mini-map and hotkey bar. 'Centered' will force the viewport to strictly follow the Scroll Distance setting. If you have it a high number, you will be centered 100% of the time.
• Adds option to enable right-click dragging of the viewport. This will coexist with mouse gestures but may not mix with them in a visually pleasing manner.
• Separate adjustable background transparencies for dialogs, tooltips, combat log, chat, and hotkeys.
• Adjustable tooltip width.
• Ability to change tooltip location: each of the four corners / at mouse cursor / opposite corner from mouse.
• Tooltip will get out of the way of target location via keyboard as well as mouse cursor.
• Ability to disable ambient background noises (dogs barking, water dripping, etc.) on the UI tab in Game Options. Defaults to 'enabled' (no change from stock).

• If your character knows the talent 'Extract Gems', a tab will appear on the inventory screen listing all items that may be converted to gems based on your current talent level, including items in the Transmogrification Chest.

• Adds a 'Preview Talents' button to the character creation screen. This will allow you to view the stats and talents of the current race/class combo without needing to generate a new game.

Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race.

This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters.

Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon.

The addon you hope you never have to use.

If all goes well, you never have to touch it. Behind the scenes, BGA monitors the location of every NPC on the current map level.

• In cheat mode you can use CTRL-B to pull up a list of all NPCs with details about their locations. Cheat mode will stamp your character, but it can be used as a last resort to see if a quest-required boss has gone all-out missing or not.

• If an NPC goes outside the map borders or into the middle of a wall (and it isn't a ghost), BGA will notify you and allow you to relocate the offender to a random free tile somewhere else on the level so that you can reach it. The NPC will not be placed into a vault, but it may be in a secluded room you have to dig to reach. Some levels have rooms behind undiggable walls that aren't marked as vaults. At this point, there isn't much that can be done about those locations beyond using a teleport of some sort.

• If a summons is temporarily removed from the level via Time Skip, it remains in your party. If you leave the level before the summons returns, the connection to the summons is severed and it becomes a not-there party member. If you return to the previous level, the original summons will come back out of Time Skip, but it will now be a separate entity from the one that's in your party. The one on the level will sit there and then decay. The one in your party will not decay and will take up a summons slot from that point on, but will not be on any level you visit. BGA will remove the summons in the party slot if the connection is broken, clearing it for future summons.

• If an NPC spawns and is then killed in the same turn, it can sit on that tile 'dead'. If a creature—including yourself—walks over that tile, a clone will be made, possibly creating an impassable roadblock. Hitting CTRL-C will cycle through all tiles on the level and remove any clones it finds.

• Some rooms will spawn a large group of NPCs. If there are more NPCs than tiles, they will exist 'out of phase'. You can't see or target them and can walk through them as if they didn't exist, but party members may attack the tile they are on. If the NPC has an AOE effect on them, such as an Empire Wight's lighting, it may strike you. You may also hear any sounds associated with the NPC. BGA will 'rephase' the NPC once the square they are on is unoccupied. If the tile and NPC are in sight, you will get the message, '[Name] steps out from hiding.' This may result in an unexpected enemy or two showing up in packed rooms once available space is made.

• Log will flush after special actions are taken so that cut/paste is available immediately.

• Checks for invalid Dark Fey Clones (StarKeep's Faerie Race addon)

+ Bugfix: Limmir disappearing immediately after quest completion. Removed check for 'mod.class.PartyMember' on non party members.

• v2.2.2 - Compatible with ToME 1.1.5 to 1.2.2

• This addon cannot be used to cheat and will not reveal any details about NPCs under normal play circumstances. If an NPC needs to be relocated, you will be presented with its current location and why the addon determined that there was a problem, but the new location is not revealed.***

Adds the chaotic human subrace, which get a random talent on every levelup.

Replaced the 'bind to left click' feature with one involving auto use.. can set multiple spells to left click on an enemy and it will use with normal priority. Can customize order with alt+shift+o as per usual. One spellcast per click, top priority first, will move towards target with normal pathfinding if out of range of top priority spell.

The Lost City of Vulcus

Some events in history are of such importance and have such wide ranging ramifications that they become fixed points -- junctions in time that must and will happen in order to maintain the integrity of the chronoverse.

Lost ages ago, Vulcus was considered by many to be the greatest center of Dwarven learning below the surface. Even up until the fall of Reknor in recent times, however, Dwarven innovation and breakthroughs continued, seemingly by miracle. Fate, however, dictates that one of the greatest untold secrets of the Empire cannot remain hidden forever. Perhaps you will be chosen to take part in this crucial point in history -- to reap the rewards or to suffer the consequences.

This addon incorporates a new major event (like the drake cave or fearscape invasion portal) that has a chance to occur (possibly more than once) on each level in various zones (Infinite Dungeon, Spellblaze Scar, Ardhungol, High Peak, Reknor, Shadow Crypt). Within the game, this event is most like a combination of the Lost Merchant and Limmir quests, and is intended to replace those for characters in the I.D.

Recommended level 10+ (depending on class). The intended difficulty is slightly higher than the Limmir quest, and there are gradations of success. Participating in the event when it spawns is completely optional and you can do it later if desired.

This is possibly the most complex encounter in ToME, with a large number of NPCs, enhanced AI, and various terrain effects. It is compute heavy and will tax slower computers (even with reduced graphics settings).

Adds Beholders as a playable race. Created by ajfluffy (design, code and conception) and rexorcorum (ideas and artwork), this addon is now being maintained by Nagyhal under the guidance of rexorcorum in ajfluffy's absence.

Edit: Had to change the addon's short_name, and so v1.0.6's automatic upload helpfully made us a completely new addon page. Of course it's all on Steam, which is beautiful (thank you DG!), but I'm hoping we can merge the older versions into this thread. We'll look at it tomorrow.

Edit of the edit: In the meantime, players who have fallen afoul of my clumsy Flame Laser bug are encouraged to upgrade to v5.9.2 for compatibility reasons. Have fun and happy facemelting!

Adds new races to take your game in different directions.

Feline: Lucky and agile warriors that prefer keeping their hide in one piece. Have an extra ring slot, but no feet slot due to oddly shaped feet.
Grey Canine: Proud alpha dogs that lead their pack into battle as they roam maj'eyal. Strong and healthy. They also have odd feet and miss out on the slot, but do not deign to ornate their tails with baubles.
Hooter: Wise birds that can see trouble coming. They have an extra amulet slot. Like most of the furrae races, they have no feet slot. Darn talons.

Content is modular and various sections can be disabled via the options.

Its an agile nature mage, but can be played as a fighter/mage hybrid, or as a summoner hybrid.

Flavour is you have been cursed by nature's hate at those who harm it.

Use whatever you need to survive.
Summoner:
A full rework is available.
Allows you to command your critters to attack or defend.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'First Sighting' stops running when a hostile creature is sighted via telepathy for the first time. The creature will then be ignored by auto-explore until spotted by actual sight, which will trigger a halt as normal.
• 'Reset on Rest' is the same as First Sighting, but resting will forget all creatures spotted via telepathy so that they will trigger a stop again.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

Also utilizes C. Lowe/CaptainTrip's 'Rest Tweaks' addon code and updates it to 1.1.5.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Additional features:
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.

Notes:
• Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments.
• 'First Sighting' and 'Reset on Rest' modes are intended to keep auto-explore a fast process. If you spot an enemy you wouldn't mind bumping into around a corner, you can just hit auto-explore again and that enemy will be ignored until seen by normal sight. 'Reset on Rest' can be handy if you spot a type of enemy you want to be cautious around or a packed room. You can move away, rest, then explore the rest of the level without worrying about running into the middle of that room.

When viewing the quest, displays details about the various rewards you are working towards.

Example: "Agrimley the hermit needs your help making an Elixir of Explosive Force, which permanently increase your chance to critically strike with spells by 4%. He has given you some notes on the ingredients: ..."

Prodigies have minimal requirements and you can get one at level 1.

Tweaks the 1st and 4th Ghoul Racials.

1st for general usefulness, now grants flat damage reduction instead.

4th for general usefulness, now checks your Str+Con against Physical Save, and spawns infinite duration, slowly decaying, ghoul summons.

Plenum ToolTip: Enhanced tooltip display for ToME version 2.4 for ToME 1.3.0

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.

In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled.

This addon adds in a Faerie, or Fey, race into ToME. This addon was originally created by Kaballah, but he hasn't been online in over a year.
Instead of letting it die (I mean, how could we not be able to play as a Faerie?) I decided to fork it over into a playable form.
I've taken it, modified it's values, and changed it's 4th talent.

The Fey are an incredibly quick and agile race, however they are incredibly fragile.
You will have to make use of their blinding speed to survive encounters.
If you find yourself in trouble, you can spray some Fey Dust onto nearby enemies while you escape.

Dark Faeries are Faeries that have given up much of their natural agility and defense in exchange for bonus offensive potency.
They are extremely frail, even more so than their more agile counterparts, but make up for it with faster offense, higher damage, and many different tricks.
Despite all thoughts otherwise, they are still, mostly, a playful bunch to be around, if not a bit more painful in their method of invitation.

--Shadows are extremely weak, but make for decent body-blockers.
--Vision Radius, Vision Duration, and Number of Shadow Targets increases with talent level.

--Call forth the powers of darkness to overflow the battlefield, affecting all Actors in sight range.
--Increase all allies life by a percent of their Max Life. (Including yourself.)
--Decreases all foes life by a percent of their Max Life.
--Blind all foes, even those who cannot normally be blinded.
--This effect's power increases as your life decreases.
--This talent does not proc healing effects, and cannot lower enemies below 10% of their max health.

Description:

Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers.

These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers.

Just be careful when resting on an escort mission...

This addon is home to bonus races, objects, and even a custom zone, for all your turtle pleasures.

Races;
Turtle - The normal, all around tanky subrace. Destroy your foes with potent damage reflection and regenerative properties.
MegaTurtle - Imagine normal Turtle, turned up to 11.
EarthTurtle - Potent damage reduction and save powers. The purely defensive focused Turtle.
IceTurtle - Melee's nightmare, fights with constant damage shields, ice blocks, and cold damage reflection.
VolcanicTurtle - Incredible aoe potency. The purely melee focused Turtle.

Objects;
Tauntlets - Gauntlets with the power to block.
A multitude of varied Artifacts.

Zones;
The Turtlemire - Home to all Turtles, face off against all 5 Turtle subraces.

The Higher were not the Conclave's first attempt at infusing humans with magic, but rather the result of long years of failed creations. The descendants of those who managed to survive these experiments are today called the Fallen. Although they command intense magical power, their bodies are weak and sickly.

Adds the Barbarian class to the Wilder sub-group.

Improves the "Press <control> to compare" functionality for objects.  New features:

• When pressing <control>, a note at the top of the text will tell you which object in your equipment is being compared against the current item.
• While holding <control>, tapping <shift> will cycle through the objects in your equipment that the current item can be compared to.  Useful when wearing two rings, dual-wielding, or using the second weapon set.
• (new in v3) Runes and inscriptions in your inventory or store inventories can be compared via <control> to corresponding inscriptions on your body.
