Adds a new class, the Steam-Chemist (A tinker who picked up alchemy) also attempts to revise alchemist with some quality of life and balance changes.

Steamchemists:
They're tinkers who have started dabbling in alchemy - but their dual focus has resulted in lesser skill. Less skillfully assembled machinery can sometimes be even more dangerous, though.
They have a golem, but no advanced golemancy, access to staff training, but no channel staff and no natural mana regen. What they have is lots, and lots of explosions.

One new talent tree : Shrapnel
Steampowered Bombardment : version of throw bomb that scales with steampower and alchemist gem power
Shrapnel infusion : results in bombs causing bleed damage, +phys dmg, +phys penetration
Sonic Boom : An aoe cone physical damage confusion skill
Rocket Powered Leap : a leap that attempts to attack in an aoe, if it hits, causes massive bleed damage

In addition, they have access to many steam categories.

Alch revision description :

Buffs Alchemist talents and aims to reduce the irritation of the gem ammo management system. Idea is to make mana the limiting factor of alchemists,
rather than alchemist gems. Idea is to make alchemist a short to mid ranged class with high burst and mana problems, but decent tankiness. Their golem can lock people into place for them to wail on,
and they have some other talents to help if someone does get into melee range (shortrange aoe stuns, ranged knockbacks, etc.)

Gem quality contributes more to bomb damage
At talent level > 7 throw bomb and steam bombardment now reduce their CD by 1 (this means an extra cat point in their respective categories results in 3 CD)

deals 100% damage, then 1/6 of that damage every turn for three turns (this means that fire infusion now deals the most damage of any infusion, in order to make up for it having the least utility)
(just an FYI, Shrapnel infusion does deal more damage : Shrapnel infusion deals 100% damage, then 1/5 of that damage every turn for four turns).
Steampowered bombardment now deals fireburner damage (the same as fire infusion, but no bonus pen or bonus damage) by default, and is unaffected by infusions other than shrapnel infusion (which no longer affects throw bomb).

Refit golem now only heals to 40% instead of 50% hp if golem is dead.
Fire infusion damage now a bit more frontloaded (deals 75% of damage initially, rather than 50%).
Alchemist Protection now only buffs elemental resistance (5% per raw level), friendly fire is no longer enabled by default.
Mana cost of throw bomb now scales with points in explosion expert (10 + 6 per rawlevel)

Overall :
-Gems no longer consumed by talents
-All infusions now have 4 CD to make them viable to switch between in combat
-Infusions give damage pen to their respective damage types in addition to their damage boost
-Alchemist talents no longer deal friendly fire
-Throw bomb, channel staff, refit golem have higher mana costs (35, 6, 30)

-To make throw bomb's damage scaling smoother gems now give these bonusese to damage of throw bomb per tier :

+ 20%, +35%, +50%, +65%, +70%, with bomb

Gems such as diamonds which gave a +% modifier now have that added directly to their power :
So a diamond now increases bomb power by 95% exactly, and other tier 5 by +70% exactly.

-Golem gains 1 generic every 10th level and has access to combat training from the start. Note : points in golem power and
resilience automatically give points in these areas, though this is hidden in normal ToME.

Explosion tree:
-Alchemist protection now only grants extra elemental damage, friendly fire is gone from alchemist talents by default.
-Explosion Expert totally revamped (thanks to minmay for permission to use parts of her code) . It now will tell you how much extra damage is going to be dealt in the tooltip given while aiming the bomb.
-Explosion expert now grants up to 6 radius, and can grant 7 (and some more bonus damage) with an extra category point.

Shockwave bomb replaced with Contained explosion which functions exactly as throw bomb dealing a maximum amount of explosion expert damage to a single tile. Range scales with talent level. Skill has extremely high mana cost (100), but with a single point is almost certainly the most damaging skill in the game.

Lightning:
Living Lightning has 15 CD and somewhat increased damage

Acid :
-Boosted max damage on caustic mire
-Boosted damage on Caustic Golem

Fire Alchemy:

-Body of fire deals MUCH more damage, but drains MUCH more mana, though its sustain cost is reduced to 75
-Now only targets 1 creature
-Body of Fire has 15 CD instead of 40
-Body of fire now grants fire affinity instead of resistance

Frost:
-Boosted max damage on Flash Freeze (250->320)
-Greatly increased max armor granted for Golem on Ice Armor
-Changed frost infusion to no longer freeze. Instead, it applies a 20% slow. This is to let cold be used as a more reliable damage source

Golemancy :
-Refit golem when golem is dead cast time reduced to 1 resting turn (requires player to be out of line of sight of enemies, meaning Smoke Bomb has a purpose)
-Golem is revived at 40% instead of 33% max hp

Advanced Golemancy:
Greatly increased runic golem regen rate

Staff Combat :
Tree reworked
Channel staff is now a built in attack that costs no talent points and deals 100% weapon damage with a +20% magic modifier.
New talent takes the second spot in the tree :
Desperate Blast - In desperate times, you can overload your channel staff with five times as much mana. This will increase the damage and cause the spell to knockback, but changes the damage to a physical type, and decreases the range.
Blunt thrust is the third item in the tree, and never misses from talent level 1.
Defensive posture is fourth in the tree, with a lowered cap (now scales from 9 armor/defense at level 1 to 18 at level 5).

Stone Alchemy :
-Stone touch starts at range 3 and beams from talent level 1

Sholtar have no racial talents of their own; instead, the four slots can be used to learn talents from defeated enemies (of a high enough rank). In this manner, the Sholtar can improve nearly any class by adding abilities from other calsses, or even talents that are normally exclusive to NPCs.
Sholtar are not quite as hardy as other humans, and receive -2 to strength, dexterity and constitution, and have a life rating of 8. On the other hand, they are exceptionally quick-witted, with a bonus of +6 to cunning, an extra generic point every 3 levels, and an experience 'penalty' of -20%.

The Sholtar were once a great nation, with many vasts cities in the southeastern regions of Maj'Eyal. In spite of the harsh, dry terrain they inhabitied, or perhaps because of it, they were a people of great ingenuity and adaptability.

The Cataclysm which tore the world apart centuries ago swept nearly all of the Sholtar lands into the murky depths, and all but erased their people from the face of Eyal.

While very few survived, those who did fought for survival with all of the wit and grit that was their birthright. An already adaptable people grew to become even more adaptable through neccessity, and it has become their greatest strength.

Sholtar are able to learn abilities by carefully studying others, and, regardless of their class, they can always improve by incorporating the talents of others into thier skill set.

This addon adds Trolls as a playable race to the game.

Trolls possess the Trollblood talent, which grants them high life-regeneration, but makes them vulnerable to fire.
Their racial abilities scale with their size. A huge troll is a strong troll, but the higher they grow, the deeper they fall.

The Higher were not the Conclave's first attempt at infusing humans with magic, but rather the result of long years of failed creations. The descendants of those who managed to survive these experiments are today called the Fallen. Although they command intense magical power, their bodies are weak and sickly.

Adds the chaotic human subrace, which get a random talent on every levelup.

Also has the following option under Gameplay:

Extra Chaotic: This affects who gets random talents on levelup:
Standard: Only the chaotic race does.
All Races: The player gets the talents regardless of their race.
Enemies Too: Everything gets talents on levelup, even enemies.

(BETA) Shield Hero is an Adventurer who starts with heavy armor and a shield. Not very exciting unless you were annoyed about not being able to equip your Adventurer's shield right away.
(BETA) Prototype Hero is an Adventurer who starts with 1.3 mastery in every category. Not very useful for players, but it might be interesting for addon writers to spitball new category combinations.

Adds the High Guard, a mage subclass. The High Guard is a melee fighter with mid-range spells who can wield any staff in one hand and favors shields in the offhand.
Primary stats are Magic and Strength. All talents are spells and use only mana. Attacks with both staff and shield, with nearly all attacks (save for bumps) dealing the damage type your staff is currently alinged to.

Adds the Grove Keeper, a Wilder subclass. The Grove Keeper is pirmarily a mindpower-caster with limited summoning ability, but has the option to mix slings, or one-handed weapons and unarmed attacks, into their skill set. They are also able to become proficient with mindstars and focus wholly on mind-casting. Includes advanced class categories favoring either weapon-hybrid or mind-casting play style, with the advanced hybrid tree working equally well for ranged or melee.

Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs:
- Escorts now follow the player when not close to the portal.
- Escorts occasionally say useful things.

Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass.

The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers.

Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes.

Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy.

Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself.

Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool.

Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility.

Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks.

Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes.

Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes.

In this addon, I want to fix obvious and not so obvious shortcomings in the behavior of skills.

Rime wraith:
The skill ended early if the "host" died.
-Now the wraith chooses a new target

When "jumping", wraith incorrectly registered the remaining time of the effect if it made several "jumps" in one turn
-Now the skill always works out the declared duration.

Aura of Undeath
The aura effect was applied only to the minion in direct line of sight. It was enough for the minion to go behind a tree and the effect disappeared. I can't say that this is a bug, but in my understanding, auras do not work like that.
-Now it is applied to all minions in the declared radius.

Provides an in-game menu to customize what, if any, additional benefits your character gains when leveling up. You can access these settings by going to the SparkLevel tab in the Game Options.

Adds an Artificer class to the game.
Artificer is a versatile class that specialize in items.
They are able to craft items and use them in ways that other classes cannot.

Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

A new demented class, the Martyr.

This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function.

Unlike the magical folk of the Hidden Sanctuary, Martyrs' Insanity manifests in mental powers.
Martyrs mix together Sling and Melee combat, needing to use both (correctly timed with their current insanity) to succeed.
With time, they developed much stranger powers.

New Talents:
Demented / Chivalry: A special half-tree, focusing on your melee attacks
Demented / Vagabond: A special half-tree, focusing on the use of a sling
Demented / Whispers: The core tree, adjusting your stats as your insanity waxes and wanes and guiding you around the battlefield

Adds Beholders as a playable race. Created by ajfluffy (design, code and conception) and rexorcorum (ideas and artwork), this addon is now being maintained by Nagyhal under the guidance of rexorcorum in ajfluffy's absence.

Edit: Had to change the addon's short_name, and so v1.0.6's automatic upload helpfully made us a completely new addon page. Of course it's all on Steam, which is beautiful (thank you DG!), but I'm hoping we can merge the older versions into this thread. We'll look at it tomorrow.

Adds Vampires as a playable race, as jack of all trades with access to necromantic trees.

This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack!

Changes the mastery of the Adventurer's talents to 1.3 and gives it 1 more category point, 2 extra talents points and 2 extra generics.

Now, there are quite a few addons that do similar things, however they tend to overwrite the adventurer birth data, making them incompatible with other changes to the class.

Adds the Gladiator, a warrior subclass. Gladiators are weapons experts and can wield one-handed weapons in either hand with ease, however they are also proficient with two-handed weapons and shields.
They learn many techniques for use with Axes, Maces, Swords and even more exotic weapons. Gladiators are able to quickly swap weapons and stack numerous detrimental effects on their foes, then finish them off with skills that grow more deadly the more devastated their enemies become.
Includes six new class trees and one new generic tree, allowing for a variety of builds. Will you wield maces and shields and wear your foes down while sheltered inside your armor or put defense aside, pick up a pair of waraxes and become The Axebutcher?

Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description!

Description:

Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers.

These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers.

Just be careful when resting on an escort mission...

Description

This addon adds the Bristlebarb as a playable class.
Bristlebarbs hate everyone with a passion, but refuse to lower themselves to the levels of other by fighting.
Their scorn alone empower them as they cover themselves in spikes and trudge their own path, in blood.

Bristlebarbs use no weapons but are covered in a living bramble that they can control.

They use a special resource : thorns.
Higher thorn count give them bonus damage.
Lower thorn count slow them down but increase their armor, as their thorn become dead wood.
Extremely low thorn will prevent all movement.
Thorns default to 50% on rest and increase in the presence of worthy enemies (rare rank and above).

5 unique class trees (1 locked) :
Scorn : A manifestation of their hate for the outside world
Flow of the thorn : You move like a vine, nothing stopping you from growing wherever you want.
One with the thorn : More and more, your body changes and adapt.
Mutation : your thorns started simple, what are they becoming now ?
Wrath of the thorn : harness your hate to guide your thorns in devastating attacks.

1 Unique generic tree (locked) :
Roots : a generic tree all about getting hit and doing nothing

Bristlebarbs can not appear on NPC.

A complete rework for Bulwark.

Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game.
You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)
Note: Unfortunately the only time that addons can get the possible escort types is after the random escort quest is assigned.
This means escorts added by other addons will not be available for selection, but will still be possible to find using the random selection.

New Dungeons:

3 new dungeons have been added to the world map [with more to come] (Blood Soaked Ruins, Infested Ruins & Road to Derth) these dungeons will have unique boss and lore spawns. Sludgenest and Noxious Caldera will now spawn on the world map at level 1.

New Bosses:

There are 8 new bosses/mini bosses that will spawn in the new dungeons (With custom sprites). Battle against powerful [spoiler]vampires, werewolves and wererats[/spoiler] in your journey to glory! Bosses drop gold on death *They will also spawn in Infinite Dungeon*

Talents that require a dlc will be clearly noted next to the talent, if you don't own a dlc and try to purchase a dlc talent the gold will be removed but the talent wont be acquired.

Note: Since Waladil will no longer be updating "Extra Dungeons" I decided to add Caldera and Sludgenest to the world map.

Add Embers Races To Main Campaign, and they start in Last Hope. This includes classes with unique starts (Archmage, Ashes classes, etc).

Big thanks to Zeranamu for their addon "Embers Races for Maj'eyal Campaign"(https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/embersraces), and Mex for their addon "Mex's Start in Last Hope"(https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/mex-lasthopestart). All I did was look at Mex's addon to see what they did to make characters start in Last Hope, and made that change to Zeranamu's addon.

Be sure to use only this addon, or Zeranamu's original version. You will probably be fine with both, just when testing and both active I had two entries for each Embers race on character creation.

A new demented class, the Shining One.

This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function.

Celestial Spellcasters who have been overcome with madness and become more and more like unto Luminous Horrors.
Shining Ones begin in Kroshkurr by default.

Shining One talents do not appear on enemies.

Celestial / Incinerator: Burn enemies and the ground beneath them.
Celestial / Seals: Create a patch of ground that grants powerful bonuses as long as you can hold it.

Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example:

Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats

Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat.

Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff.

Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level.

All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have.

This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues.

Presents a dialog when you attack or are attacked by an adventurers party or hostile ziguranth patrol on the world map, prompting you to either evade or fight.  The behavior of this dialog can be controlled by the "Adventurers party response strategy" options under Game Options in the <Esc> menu, allowing you to specify "always evade" or "never evade" as the default behavior.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack.

Sets escorts HP to 1000 and life regen to 100. This mod is not intended to be balanced and will make the game easier. Use at your own discretion.
